The judge wanted a reason why the defendant would have had anything to do with Scott's shooting. The accomplice theorized that maybe Scott killed himself. So TAC was able to postulate that Scott was so intimidated by the defendant, he shot himself. Obviously all of that was BS, but the judge let the video go forward because the reason wasn't impossible. Did anyone else feel like this episode could have been written by David E. Kelley? The "mom's meds" stunt, the witness parading in surrounded by agents, the sucker punch, the quirky prosecutor with dog....I half-expected Alan Shore to handle the closing.
