I didn't think I could dislike Simon any more than I do, but during this episode I actually said out loud, "I hate you" to him on my tv.

The best thing about this show is the daredevil guy judge. They need to keep him for the regular AGT shows, then they might be worth watching. (Maybe.)

2 hours and only 7 acts with 1 being a repeat from the sneak peak episode.

I don't know how anyone can watch this live. The editing continues to be horrible. Just show the amazing stunt in 1 shot. Replay it in slow mo all you want after.

My favorite was probably the fire tightrope. I don't think I've ever seen that before at that scale.

The trapeze was cool on paper but with it was hard to see with the equipment on all four sides then everyone in white just blended in.

I can spare 15 minutes to blaze through these episodes on hulu so I'll keep watching.

More Nitro Circus guys that Travis can't judge. Yawn.  To be fair, though, RWilly (Ryan Williams) is one of the most ridiculous action sports performers out there. The stuff he can do on a BMX bike is downright mind-boggling. Just ask TJ Lavin. The stuff they did was lame compared to what they normally do, but I'm sure they'll ratchet up the difficulty later on.

Globe of Death with freestyle moto over it? Eh.

Escape artist with sob story? Nice trick.

I liked the 360-degree trapeze-ists.  There's potential for some cool stuff there.

That was a bit better than last week.

Random thoughts:

  • Travis really brings expert knowledge to this.
  • The judges are better than AGT, but the chemistry isn't there.
  • I don't really like escape acts, but the story was moving.
  • I agree with Simon about the trapeze act. It's been done, and they made a mistake.
  • I'm also with Simon re: the roller blade guy. Just a lot of back & forth.
  • The tightrope walker seemed so hokey I thought it would be boring. I was wrong. I was genuinely nervous during his act. I don't know how he steps that up. Backwards? Blindfolded? Horseback?
  • Watching this on DVR is the way to go. Skip the back stories, the judge antics, the commercial breaks in the middle of the acts and then the repeat of the last 30 seconds after the commercial.
