The closed captioning usually shows the pounders breathing heavily, but he really has a lot of heavy breathing and grunts. It's like a bad porno film.

You reminded me back in the late 70s, when my soon to be husband and I went to an outdoor drive in theater in NC that showed porn.  The entire evening was bad porn.

Wow.  Now that I see that car in daylight... I have never seen a paint job chipped like a modernist painting!

This is the first of many fast food stops... and 27 jalapeno poppers is twice as many as I normally can eat for a FULL MEAL.

Also, how did he even get admitted to the university if he couldn't multiply 9 X 3??

Are we guessing weight by model of airplane? I’m guessing one of those Russian cargo planes, whatever they’re called.

The Antonov An-225 Mriya is the heaviest cargo plane.

David must follow the rule that if you have a Diet Coke with a bunch of food, then the calories reduce to zero.

That was Jack in the Box.  The Supreme Croissant is 450 calories, and the poppers are 1219 total calories, so breakfast was 1669 calories, lots of fat.     He did that big order, and ordered nothing for Robin?

Off topic for a second:  Are any of you watching 1000 Pound Friends (or whatever the title is)?

Yeah. I might watch it again, but I'm kinda turned off by Vanessa (the one who can't decide if she should do the surgery or not). Just because you were raised poor, doesn't mean you have to be vulgar. I find her uncomfortable to watch. I would like to see what happens to Ashley, who had the surgery previously. I wonder what Dr Procter will do with her.

STUCK?!???!!!

YUCK!!!!!

My  grandmother had a bug in her ear. She had a hearing problem and was at the ear doctor to talk about surgery. He got the bug out of her ear. That didn't have anything to do with her hearing loss.

Not only does he grunt, he burps.

The doilies have doilies.

I confess I love doilies. I look for them and old dresser scarves at yard sales and thrift shops. But I'm an unabashed boho shabby chic girl.

Am I the only person to think that it's silly to stop for fast food when you just got a shit ton of groceries?  Most supermarkets have takeout food that's hot, that would get him home and eating even faster and is a lot more cost effective!

Confession - I haven't had fast food in years. I will steal a fry from my son or Mr Poetic but I cant stomach a meal.

At some point, David is going to need the Jaws of Life to extract him from behind the steering wheel.

I am, as usual, a page behind, and I got to this comment just as he was trying to extricate himself from the front seat.

I’m a crocheter and I love the vintage ones.

Just for the record, I actually had an in-real-life conversation today with an actual human being. These last two years, I’ve become even more of a recluse than I used to be.

I try to have one every day, even if it's just about how cute the dog the person is walking is, but it's a challenge since retirement.

All foster mom needs is a string of beads and a floppy hat, and they could be Woodstock-bound in that love van...
