Because based on their looks and glam, Jordann and Ashley should have made the team. Ryleigh.Paigee, looks like a doll and she was not only a Rangerette (as already commented) but she was a Captain too. She is the real deal. Regan Davis has the x-factor is you ask me. Unlike others, she is really an A plus plus. ashtyn_morrow reminds me of Amanda Dilks! And based on that I am #TeamAshtyn already! Daylee Rhea looks like a million bucks. She has just that extra sparkle. Bailee Jennings is in her natural habitat in front of the camera and on stage. She just belongs there. Glamour is not a choice for her. She has got it. Kinsy Smith reminds me of Ashley Pro and that'll do for me. Taylor Altieri has the model look that the DCC need Saving the best for last: with McKenzie Starr we will have someone that can stand toe to toe with Rachel Wyatt. Mckenzie would look great in HD! Watching the show, when rookie candidates who say things like, "I've always struggled with my kicks," or, "I've always struggled with choreograhy," I always wonder: Why are they trying out to be a DCC?? I mean, with some, auditioning is just a bucket list kind of thing. But, I'm thinking about candidates who make it to training camp and then are crushed when their insufficient kicks or memory get them cut. 6 Link to comment

I'm no dancer but if I was one and wanted to be a DCC I'll try out as soon as I turn 18. Even if I knew I wasn't good enough. Just being in the process of tryouts let's the girls get the experience to know how the process is like. Being able to talk with girls who are much better dancers will give the girls auditioning great motivation. So I think some girls come into auditions not thinking they will get into TC. Because as you said they have "bad kicks" or "always struggled with choreography". They just try out as a learning experience for the next years try outs. But either the competition wasn't as strong as the girls thought or she was a favorite of a judge and was invited to TC. So I don't think it's that weird that a girl who isn't perfect is in TC. So I’m wondering when vets will start announcing retirements…. I honestly think with the current squad there won’t be any vet cuts. If there were the only girls I think are at risk would be Christina or Amber. But that’s just my opinion. I really hope Kylie, Bre and Mel tryout again. 6 Link to comment

The DCC seem to be back in a good place right now and VK will only serve to stir that up in a negative way, IMO. I believe some of the crazy drama she allegedly caused-she seemed to have messed with so many people: Bridget, Jalyn, Tara, Brennan, Jinelle-the list probably goes on. The DCC seem to be back in a good place right now and VK will only serve to stir that up in a negative way, IMO. Just look at her decimated rookie class-I personally don't think it's a surprise that only a select few survived being in VK's class. Per comments on her Instagram posts, she will be auditioning this year. (Not an announcement or anything, just responses to posts asking if she is). 1 Link to comment

Unlike others, she is really an A plus plus. ashtyn_morrow reminds me of Amanda Dilks! And based on that I am #TeamAshtyn already! Daylee Rhea looks like a million bucks. She has just that extra sparkle. Bailee Jennings is in her natural habitat in front of the camera and on stage. She just belongs there. Glamour is not a choice for her. She has got it. Kinsy Smith reminds me of Ashley Pro and that'll do for me. Taylor Altieri has the model look that the DCC need Saving the best for last: with McKenzie Starr we will have someone that can stand toe to toe with Rachel Wyatt. Mckenzie would look great in HD! Just some thoughts here - pretty sure by Ryleigh you meant Rachel Green? She was a Rangerette, couldn’t find if she was a captain, but she and Brandon both slay in that video; they both dance at Sam Houston now. Ryleigh was captain of the Gladewater Honey Bears drill team, not the Kilgore Rangerettes, and while she has a cute look and great splits, her timing and style leave some room for improvement before she’s ready for a pro squad. I hope she dances in college for a few years before trying out. Regan looks like she could be a mini Kelee if she took some more power classes! I think she definitely has a quality about her but I would love to see her be a bit more grounded, especially with choreo like Michelle’s combo. I love Bailee’s look and think that she has real promise. Watching her dance next to Lisa though shows how much power she’s still missing - I think again college will do her good, and she’s already committed to OK State. I am soooo ready for Kinsy and several of her fellow Showgirls to audition!! I think she, Anna Kate, Brooke, Emma, and Savanna could all be threats this year if they’re ready (I can’t remember which ones are seniors lol). I’m a little confused on some of the others here, for instance, why are we convinced McKenzie Starr is going to audition? It looks like last year, she tried for the Texans and this year AAIA and didn’t make either, and she works in Austin. I saw Lisa respond to comments on a post in January that she plans to re-audition, but then it sounds like she injured herself again a couple weeks later and had a little road bump in her recovery.
