thewhiteowl January 3, 2022 Share January 3, 2022 Bull helps a grieving mother, Vernice, sue the developers of a computer program that misidentified her son as a criminal, leading him to be fatally shot by the police. Also, Bull and Marissa clash when she considers a job offer from a rival company. Link to comment
LuvMyShows January 8, 2022 Share January 8, 2022 Wow, no comments? I wonder what the end game is with Marissa. Google search reveals that Geneva Carr is not leaving the show, so what is the point of having Marissa leave TAC? Going through the process to re-name a company, like her new employer has proposed, is quite involved and likely expensive. So if he goes through that, only to have it not work out for some reason, that would be quite unfortunate for him. And would they have her come back to Bull with her tail between her legs? sharkerbaby January 8, 2022 Share January 8, 2022 Dang, you took the air right out of my sails. I was coming here to celebrate and say Buuh Bye, B****! You're saying I need to hold on to those sentiments because she may not be leaving?!!! Aghhh, say it isn't so! Link to comment
DavidWeis1 January 8, 2022 Share January 8, 2022 Why would anyone want to work for Bull? He’s such an obnoxious p****? 2 Link to comment
OperaLover1229 January 8, 2022 Share January 8, 2022 (edited) I thought that a person who wasn’t an attorney couldn’t have equity in a firm that was established for the practice of law. But I guess you can if it’s on TV. Also I can see Marissa getting screwed over again, did she do her “due diligence” with that guy. She might be signing on to a ton of debt. But I do see her back at TAC. Edited January 9, 2022 by OperaLover1229 Link to comment

She is, and always has been, the most useless waste of Production's payroll expenses in the entire show. Now to learn that she isn't gone from the show?!?? That means she will probably get a bigger role, more airtime, become more central to the plot. Which means I will have to see her useless face even more. <sigh> 1 Link to comment
KeithJ January 9, 2022 Share January 9, 2022 This episode bothered me for a number of reasons: First, the case. I still don't see how that case wasn't dismissed and even made it to trial. False advertising? C'mon. That's really really pushing it. Second, Marissa. She and Bull finally seemed to settle on her staying and she genuinely seemed happy with it. Then, just because she gets her name on the company, she's all bitchy with Bull and quits anyway? Lastly, the case again. If TAC somehow won that case, I'm not sure if I would be able to keep watching the show. But, the writers couldn't just leave it at "sometimes TAC loses". No, they had to throw in the moral victory at the end with the securities fraud. There was zero reason to add that on. Just take the loss and move on. 1 Link to comment
DougJones January 9, 2022 Share January 9, 2022 (edited) Wow, didn’t realize there was 6 seasons of this show already. I really thought it would’ve went away gracefully after 5 seasons or so. Cases are interesting and you want to root for the underdog in a corrupt system, but then I realized Bull’s team has resources and talent you wish you would have a modicum of in the real world. If they stayed more with the trial science instead of hacking and stalking their way to winning the case, then the show would seem less ridiculous at time. Now that they got rid of the best character Benny last year, how much longer can they kick the can down the road?? I don’t have a negative opinion on Marisa but never understood what she actually did lol well I guess the ending of this episode was weird. bull gave her a huge bone and then she walked off last second because of a logo. I get working with Bull sucks but sometimes better to deal with the devil you know vs the one you don’t. Edited January 9, 2022 by DougJones Link to comment
MerBearHou January 9, 2022 Share January 9, 2022 (edited) I’ve always seen Marissa as a COO which Bull and the firm really must have. She doesn’t bother me. The tragic case was a “reach” in the first place but I often think that of Bull’s cases. Edited January 9, 2022 by MerBearHou 1 Link to comment
mythoughtis January 10, 2022 Share January 10, 2022 Marissa being smart and professional like she was at the beginning and this season doesn’t bother me. It was the ditzy blond we got in the middle seasons that did. Bull didn’t really appreciate her ever and he didn’t this episode either. He just tried to placate her. There should have been a way to go after the facial recognition company for developing a sub standard application, but the victims mother wasn’t the one to do it. The police department should have brought the suit. 1 Link to comment

I mean putting your wife in the empty office, not even offering it to Marissa who 'built' the program the whole company is based on. He's super disrespectful. I think she dug herself into a hole at TAC, she allowed herself to be treated as a glorified admin for years, a really wasted character on the show. If she stopped showing up would not miss her.
