(So of course after I talk about the alternate titles, they decide to not do that for this episode -- LOL)

... And we're back to the melodramatic plot twists. Murder! Drugs! Gin! Showers!

I skipped most of the scenes with only the teens; Quincy and Sloane (what kind of name...??) looks to be hitting all the clichés, so I'll be skipping those too in the future.

I see they're trying to distract us with shirtless hot dudes, but pretty only helps so much.

Wow, I thought Token White Jerk would be around to cause more trouble later, but nope! Killed by Olivia of all people. But speaking of murders; Piggy just blurts out an entire confession about killing a guy and the coverup and bringing drugs into the house and Angela is all, 'Nah, it's cool' ??

In better storylines, at least things are progressing with Angela's business prospects. However, I probably shouldn't count on that since this show loves doing reversals.

Great outfits as usual. I liked Olivia's shirt/poncho (I'm sure there's a name for it which I'm forgetting.), and Angela's dress at the Gracities party.

Seriously, there's only 3 more episodes this season (and maybe forever), how many more plots are they planning on?

Ha! Maybe next episode.  But maybe the latter should have been the episode title, heh.

You're right.  I still enjoyed all the chest porn shared with us this episode.

Kudos to Jeff Hephner in his scenes.  He was hilarious and sad as Jack.

Like??? Not that Piggy can't be forgiven later, but at least be a bit upset? She was so pissed about Nate bringing drugs into the house because of Nikki.  That shouldn't magically become obsolete because it's your aunt. Bless Debi Morgan, she sold that absurd dialogue.

I wish I cared about Angela's business, but I do not.  The fact that she never considered other investors...sigh.

Not to mention there is the loose end about Eve Vaughn's arrest and Teddy's involvement. Did he set her up? If so, why? And why would he get involved with the Darius death at all? It's not like his leverage over Piggy would do much good.

L. Scott Caldwell was really leaning into the Olivia ruthless. I don't think she and Joe Morgan have had the chance to chew scenery together?

And yet, I still had a twinge of sympathy that she didn't and doesn't have a say in the family business.  Raymond comes by his ruthless nature honestly, chile.

I read on Twitter that she's also on Power? I'm glad she's booked and busy, but yes, the show is wasting her talent.  Early on, I actually wondered why she couldn't just be Angela's mother (and alive).  The rest of the history could be the same, and drugs need not be in the storyline at all.

Not a fan of the Angela character.  For having spent some time at Howard University and trying to project a professional image in the business world; you would think that she would dispense with the slang street talk.

Piggy-isms. Ehhh.

Quincy messing with the help seems kind of trite to me. Please don't let Sloane get pregnant.

Why does Nate call Angela "Gee"? (Or is it just "G"?)

Nikki, you know in your heart Taylor is a player and can't be trusted. Lauren will take any opening she can get.

Angela is so mercenary. I get that she needs to hustle for her business, but the way she uses every person and event to make a sales pitch is getting tiresome to me. Time and place, Angela.

"No one with good breeding does cocaine anymore." Really? They still leave their DNA on martini glasses at the scene of a crime though. 🙄

And on the door to a newly dead guy's bungalow. Good thing Taylor could've backed up Lauren's story that Jack was already dead. But what were they planning to accomplish by going there to begin with?

How does Piggy afford cocaine? Does she even have a job or did she get it in trade?

Of course Angela scored a venture capital deal. Yawn. But Nate did not score any nookie. 😏

OMG, TAYLOR STAYS BEING TRASH! 😡😡😡

Raymond FTW. Got that solid blackmail on his murderous mommy. Not slick enough, Liv.

Code-switching. Only she seems to have forgotten how to switch it off. 😉

Debbi Morgan's character on Power Book II isn't doing so great either. She's a drunk who just got arrested for DWI with her young granddaughter in the car.

This show needs an Alexis Colby-like character (younger viewers might say an Amanda Woodward-like character) to sweep through and get these boring bitches together. I was hoping it would be Lauren -- especially after her broke cousin rolled through town and stole her woman. But nope. Everyone's good. Angela and Leah too -- all overnight, it seems.

Come on now. When L. Scott Caldwell is the cattiest bitch on your show, you have a damn problem!

This show looks amazing. I enjoy seeing black folk look dewy, and pretty, and wealthy. That's great. It's gorgeous. But I also need some soap. This show ain't giving it.

I need more Morris Chestnut on my screen. He's one of the better actors on this show, yet, he's barely on the show. Meanwhile, I'm forced to sit through our stunning lead actress stammer out her lines each week. It's not fair.

Well damn! Can these shows give her more to work with?

She was kind of terrible in the pilot.  She's gotten better, but Yaya DaCosta isn't the strongest actress. The writing isn't that great, either, but she's not exactly elevating the material.
