Is it just me or did the show "forget" to come back to the teaser about Trini??? It was early enough in the episode that they should have referenced it right before the end, maybe with Markus finding her backpack on the porch but not Trini inside, thus setting up next season. Otherwise, that scene with Trini going off with her boyfriend and his supposed cousins was literally worthless.

I theorized at the end that this would be a better show if it focused on the post-Vietnam War motorcycle club (though only Shreve looks old enough to actually have served) that solved cold cases (an anti-Sons of Anarchy, if you will). Poppy and Marcus ("I'm former OPD") can do their detective work/snooping for them. This season was far less compelling than the first, mainly because WHO CARES about Gwyneth Paltrow-lite. This was easily two episodes two long.

I'm not sure I'll be back for next season especially if it focuses on the child sex trafficking or what ever the faux cousins are really in to.

I wanted to love this show based on the cast alone but found it annoying, trite, and derivative.
