I found Brett’s chat with Ryan’s sister Alexa very informative.  Alexa said that “maybe” now that they are back in Houston, her brother is reminded of someone else.  She was clearly insinuating that his heart might be elsewhere. I have a feeling Ryan told her something that she didn’t want to reveal.  In a way, I don’t feel sorry for Brett. When Ryan begged her for feedback, she just sat there and looked at him.

So let me see if I understand this.  Zach told Michaela that if “today” was D-day he would say “No”.  However, he wants them to keep sleeping in the same bed.  Yeah.  No.

The fact that Gil didn't inform Pastor Cal that they weren't being intimate, led me to believe that they are and that they made a pact to keep it a secret.

Regarding Gyrla: I threw out this theory 3 or so episodes ago. Seems even more likely now.

This show has gotten progressively worse about intentional bad matches for drama, but this season really takes the cake. You cannot tell me that with everybody involved in producing the series, not a single person noticed that Michaela has Serious Fucking Issues? That Johnny and Bao knew each other? That Ryan and Brett are nice people but also the walking embodiment of a donkey and elephant political cartoon? That José isn't str... anyway you get the point. The greatest trollery of the season is that Gil and Myrla, who were obviously paired with the expectation that they would despise each other, actually hit it off.

Yeah, I saw that too.  If your own very thoughtful sister won't cover for you, that's a bad sign.  She knows what he's up to and is putting Brett's feelings ahead of his.  Pastor Cal accused Johnny of having "divided attention" but I think he missed the more obvious one here.  Ryan has been clearly preoccupied and mentally/emotionally somewhere else since day one of this marriage.  At first people thought it was over his friend who died but I think it's more likely another woman.  I don't understand how Brett hasn't nailed him to the wall over all of this.  She is an unbelievable, voluntary doormat.  Is she afraid she's going to lose him?  She never even HAD him so what's to lose?

Yes, Ryan's sister was definitely trying to give Brett a heads-up without totally selling him out. Maybe he hasn't even confessed anything to her, but she knows him well enough to put the clues together. Brett seemed to get the hint, but she probably feels like she can't win. If she brings it up, he will just accuse her of having "anxiety" and being too "emotional." There are things I like about Ryan, and I've been trying to read his demeanor as just super laid-back and not expressive, but he may really be a jerk. It's not fair to Brett. I don't even believe she was that "anxious" on the plane. He's just insulated himself from anyone who processes their emotions verbally. Or, like, at all. So when he's forced to live with one, he assumes there's something wrong with her.

Bao is no angel and a bit underhanded and irritating but she is good about communicating without being hateful to him. Cheerleader Bao is even more annoying. Her little “how you like me now” outfit did nothing for Johnny.
I don’t think Michaela or Myrla are too crazy about her.

Bao is definitely benefiting from being in the shadow of the Hulk she's married to. Every week, I'm mad at Johnny for making me feel bad for her, because I really don't care for her cutesy/snob/cutesy nightmare personality and scrunchy faces. It keeps being like 80% "Johnny is a monster"/20% "Johnny makes a solid point."

I don't understand how this woman who prizes "a great intellect" over an Astros jersey can be told to her face, like two weeks ago, that her husband is immensely turned off by the childish way she acts, and then conclude that a good strategy is to show up at a volleyball game dressed up and acting like bad* barely legal cheerleader pOrn. Zach sure seemed to enjoy it, though. Yikes. There are a million problems with Johnny, but I will never fault him, a grown ass adult, for being attracted to adults. Or for being thin or wearing pink. Men should not be dragged for that in 2021, FFS. Plenty of actually horrible stuff to drag him for.

*It's all bad. The concept is bad. In pOrn and on MAFS.

I think Bao's size helps determine how she acts. She is tiny and I imagine treated that way. I also think she's on the defensive a 100% of the time because of Johnny. That makes you change the way you act.  Is also oftentimes Asian women are taught to be submissive and act shy.

Bao's not as innocent as she tries to portray,

Johnny keeps implying that Bao is different on camera than off camera. I think he is trying to say that she is a fake and not so nice off camera. I wish he would just come out and say it. Michaela really threw Bao under the bus on Unfiltered. She said Bao complains about Johnny all the time off camera. Again, are we seeing a different Bao? Something just doesn't add up. Oh, and Michaela, you suck. Maybe she and Johnny should get together.

Tipsy Myrla is the best Myrla by far. Tipsy Myrla all day!

Johnny is horrible and I’d have hung it up by now if I were Bao - like, explicitly told him I wanted a divorce and moved out. When they showed the reel of really mean things Johnny has said to and about her, I was pretty horrified. When he said “we could have dated but I wasn’t attracted to you,” I thought she was going to cry - she looked so hurt. And yet and still, we see Bao bending over backwards to make him happy and he hasn’t lifted a finger to do anything for her. I cannot imagine who would want to date him after seeing this show. He’s a terrible partner. If he hates everything about Bao, why is he still here? He could call it early; it’s been done before. He’s not attracted to her, he doesn’t feel like she does enough (which is bullshit) … break up with her and let her be with someone who treats her halfway decently.

Brett’s not asking Ryan when he checked out because she doesn’t want to hear that he has checked out, because she still holds out hope and him saying it would make it real. She should not hold out hope; there is none. She deserves to be with someone who is enthusiastic about her and Ryan isn’t and won’t be that guy.

Michaela is … I mean, when they break up (not spoiled, just an assumption, because come on) Zach needs to block her on everything, move, and not tell her where he lives, because HOLY SHIT.

Ugh. These people are awful. Every time one of them is on camera I think to myself that person is the worst one, but, I’ve come to a conclusion that Johnny is in a league of his own. Not giving Bao a pass, but she is going to need therapy after this show to recover from the gaslighting, emotional abuse, and hits at her self-esteem.

I think it’s easy to place all the blame on Michaela for her, shall we say volatility, but Zack is definitely no prize. He is immature, unrealistic, and vindictive.

Brett and Ryan simply do not belong together. Brett has seemingly been pretty good about saying that if he’s not into it, then he’s not into it without taking it personally. Ryan clearly had zero interest from the get go. The only woman who would have changed his mind would have been a Barbie-clone who clicks all of his (very limited) boxes, and would likely be exactly like the other woman he is either pining for (or still dating).

Rachel never should have returned to the apartment after that controlling, abusive mother-f’er locked her out of the house. He scares me.

Gil and Myrla had zero business being matched, and I see no conceivable future for them.

It would be nice if the ‘experts’ at least tried to find suitable partners for people and did proper background checks.

Tipsy Myrla is delightful. Can we swap her out for Jamie Otis, on the condition that she has a couple of those 25 cent martinis before filming?

She was adorable and she admitted that she is crazy about Gil!

He did not seem too amused with her drunkenness. I think they make it.

Gil probably could earn a good side income modeling. I actually liked the lowkey version of his personality better than his usual "up with people" MO.

I listened closely and I'm pretty sure Johnny said "after our one date" he knew Bao wasn't for him, so that's when I think he ghosted her.  I theorized weeks ago here on the board that they had to have dated for him to "ghost" her in text messages when she suggested getting together again.  It didn't make sense that they only knew each other peripherally from college associations.

What I want to know is how Bao ever thought that if he didn't like her enough to ghost her 15 years ago that his feelings were somehow going to change now.  I guess hope springs eternal, but if that were me I would have had a completely different attitude toward the relationship.  I'd have acted a little more like Myrla at first in that I would have eased in really slowly and not jumped into the deep end of the pool and kept a skeptical attitude to see where his feelings were going first before letting myself get hurt a second time.  I think she liked him a lot and still had unfinished business with him going into this that prevented her from being that detached for that long.

I think Johnny is a class A misogynist.  A cruel one too.  I feel sorry for Bao having to keep up the classy act while he acts like an asshole to her.

Does Johnny ever wonder about what the hell is he bringing to the table?

When he was playing pool with Ryan it seemed like Ryan's arm was bigger than Johnny's whole torso. It is not even a matter of looks...the guy is really no prize and he is insanely picky.

For those who are interested:

Spoiler

There might be a reason that Michaela was dogging Bao on Unfiltered...go to the spoiler thread if you want to learn more.

Wow, Jamie O. and worthless Viviana were really walking on eggshells with Michaela and Johnny on Unfiltered.  Taking them seriously and almost agreeing with them that their spouses are the problem is almost as whacko as Michaela and Johnny are to their spouses.  Are they afraid that Michaela might throw a tantrum on the set and hurl a few tables at them?  Are they watching the same show as everyone else?  Just unbelievable.  It was as bad as the way they were all "team Michaela" on that special a few weeks back.  Truly sickening.  I feel sorry for both Zack and Bao.

Honestly I don't blame him and I don't necessarily think his behavior in reaction to her is a sign of any lack of maturity in him for his age.  Her issues are so frightening they'd bring his behavior and worse out in the most mature of people.  She is just toxic for anyone at this point and there's no looking good when dealing with a person like that.  What about the issues her whackadoodle behavior brings out in HIM?  Don't his feelings count?  She seems to think she is entitled to a husband that functions as her therapist, but she needs a full time professional and a straightjacket at this point and it's not fair to Zack to expect that of him.  And I'm still seething about how Jamie O. and the experts didn't see this angle and instead blanketly supported Michaela.  Just unbelievable.  The guy is not perfect but he should be given a big break given what he is up against.  Shame on them.

Zach isn’t very experienced in relationships but I think he’s fundamentally a good guy who will make a good partner to someone someday. Michaela is … I don’t think she’s a bad person but she has much more work to do than Zach to be a good partner. And I have said I like her sisters, but I’m side-eyeing them for treating “hurricane Kay” like it’s a cute thing Michaela does sometimes, rather than a serious personality flaw. Tantrums aren’t acceptable.

Also, Zach has said explicitly that her behavior is triggering for him, which nobody but him appears to be taking seriously.

Tiny women do tend to lean in to the “I’m sooooo tineeyyy” routine. I’m still uncomfortable with the Asian stereotypes that get thrown around here. I haven’t seen people making these kinds of claims about Myrla and Rachel’s Hispanic heritage, etc. It’s like the last acceptable group to write off as a monolith.

No, tantrums are not acceptable.  A lot of good people are crazy but it doesn't make them good for a relationship either.  And I think she's way over the line into toxic for any romantic relationship.  Not just not ready and needs work but so bad she's toxic.  No one should be expected to put up with all of that.  Abandonment issues that bad rarely go away that easily if at all.  She would need years of therapy and be able to do the work and right now I just don't have the confidence that she'll ever be up to that.

Myrla just wants some simp that will do everything she wants and won’t press her to try new things … Gil is annoying too … he knows EVERYTHING just ask him … he has all the answers and seems to talk down to the other couples all in all is a simp behind closed doors

johnny is a piece a shit who’s just being a dick to get Bao to run that way he can say “ well I tried but she ran” he’s a self centered d bag … it’s either his way or he pouts ….

I must be watching a different show (but for Johnny).

Ryan: I don't care for Ryan, but I don't really hear him complaining. He is, however, annoyingly repetitive about how he simply is trying his goldarnedest best not to hurt Brett. I think he might be shocked at how his behaviors and affectless visage have sufficiently turned off Brett enough for her to want---in Ryan's musical world---a D-I-V-O-R-C-E.

Myrla: The episode focused on her supposed "negativity" (why the experts would want to plant this more firmly in Gil's mind, I cannot fathom). Yet she is never "negative" about her husband, what he does, or the general state of their marriage. Not even of his dog anymore (which, ahem, has totally been a compromise for her). And she is almost always smiling, which certainly  refutes the notion that she is "never happy." In fact, Myrla's own words describe her contentment. Where you are getting the "wants some simp....[who] won't  press her to try new things," I do not know. What new things?

Gil: What is it you would want of him---grab Myrla, throw her onto the bed, and have his way with her, as used to be said? He kept Hype. He calls her out on being "bougie" about designer labels. He doesn't beg or cajole or grovel. Indeed, he has expressed his willingness to get a divorce if his terms are not met.  How, then, is Gil a "simp"?

Um. Way to go off the rails. It really started when Michaela just stood there during the game. WTF is her problem?!!! They both said they'd say no if it was decision day, so why sleep together? Zack really thought they'd have sex after that? He didn't care to know why she wanted to sleep separately. No reason would've sufficed. They're both weird for saying they'd say no & then not even discussing it. Oh but Zack knew to grab the camera to capture the crazy. Talking to the camera as a crutch. So unhealthy. Unhelpful part of this experiment. Him saying he'd say no had to be hurtful to Michaela, but Zack acted like it was nothing, so wtf are they even doing?!! Then Michaela decided to sleep separately & Zack decided to sleep in his bed, so why'd she decide to move out (not that it matters)? Oh ya. Back to her old tricks. They're both doing what they want instead of deciding together. Same old same old.

Yes, he seems like a good guy but I don't understand why he has to break down crying so often.  Yes, Michaela is scary crazy but he just seems unhinged too often.   There are ups and downs in life/marriage (not to Michaela! 😱) so is he gonna break down and cry every time things go south?  That's not something I'd be looking for in a mate.

Ugh. The miscommunication struggles are REAL with Bao & Johnny. There's enough information out there in 2021, there's no excuse to have such poor communication! He wants a foundation of friendship, she disagrees with being friends. Another case of one deciding what to do & making the other go along. He couldn't handle being called out on that. If he was reasonable, she could've asked what building a friendship looked like instead of just disagreeing & being against it. Ugh

This "unanswered questions" thing is still so weird & now they tell them what to ask. What??? & Brett is why all four should meet afterward and discuss things. It's too late by the time they do it. Maybe they should have it before the monthiversary, like when they get back from the honeymoon. 😅 There should be no unanswered questions, no unresolved issues. It's weird. Asking them what it'd take to say yes on DD made more sense, but again the couples should already be discussing that. Meh

It seems that every time they show a conversation, he makes a comment and she says, "yeah." I hope there is more that we are not seeing, but from the beginning, it has appeared that all she says to him is "yeah."

I am not sure what was going through Zack's mind when he was thinking that even though both of them said they would not stay together, that they would continue to sleep together. This was probably the first time I have been on Michaela's side. Of course you move out and go home - they both declared the marriage is over. Why wait 2 weeks? I am curious about the blow up next week. Looks pretty brutal.

It was nice seeing tipsy Myrla claim to be so happy and crazy about her husband, but I wonder if she says that stuff to HIM? I do like that they seem to stay pretty even tempered, even if they have decided to say no on D Day.

I still like Bao and I cringe every time Johnny says something mean to her. Maybe he feels like that is the only way he can get through to her, since nothing seems to deter her from sticking with him? I am sure she gets support from the other wives and the experts, but she needs to cut her losses and realize that her college crush is not the right person for her. But, his cruelty SHOULD be a turn off for her and it is good to see her start to be angry.

I am just not enjoying Rachel and Jose. He is still yucky to me and the fact that she went back after his rage-filled episode takes her totally out of my caring about her. If she wants to stay with an abusive, controlling little man, that's on her. I don't like either of them.

I am glad they didn't do a recommitment episode this season.

This season has really proven to me the theory that beauty is on the inside. Even in the very beginning I didn’t find Johnny to be particularly attractive, but the more he reveals his true character on the show, the less and less physically attractive he has become to me. I now find him absolutely revolting - just looking at him repulses me, and I fully acknowledge that that revulsion is much more heavily driven by his abhorrent personality than his actual appearance.

On the flip side, I didn’t find Brett attractive at all in the first couple episodes (I hate to say it, but I was getting serious Carrot Top vibes), but I find her increasingly attractive as her kindness and vulnerabilities have been revealed (although, admittedly, she seemed rather weak in this episode…not attractive Brett…stand up for yourself, girl!).

Anyway, score one for inner beauty (or inner ugly, in Johnny’s case!). 😝

Wow, Mikaela’s lack of self awareness is quite alarming, especially considering that her outbursts are so common that she has acquired the nickname “Hurricane K”. I get it that Zach is a little too tightly wound for a show like this, but I am dumbfounded that Mikaela (and dr Vivianna, Jamie and all those panelists from that side-episode a couple weeks ago) continue to place all the blame on him. What am I missing????

Mikaela goes from 0 to 60 in under 3 seconds. She turns an argument or a small disagreement or even just a statement that she doesn’t like into grounds for a full breakdown. She overreacts to almost EVERYTHING and it just elevates every problem into something so much bigger.

Examples: 1. Zach doesn’t leave a note one morning and she flips and actually moves out, then cancels the party (then uncancels it when she cools off). Whew…quite a roller coaster for something so inconsequential (especially since she previously warned Zach not to wake her in the mornings) 2. They both agree that they aren’t yet ready to say yes and commit to a lifetime marriage (she herself admitted things had only been good for about a week!) but, even though she agreed, she immediately shut down and put up her protective walls again (recall her walls went up during her childish refusal to salsa dance too) and told him to sleep in the other room. But when he didn’t do exactly as she wished: to sleep in the other bedroom but to still stay in the apartment, she wigged out yet again and yet again cancelled her show commitment - this time she cancelled her call with Zach’s family (on unfiltered she claimed her sister cancelled it and that she wasn’t aware of the call…huh??? How would her sister have known about the call to cancel it, but somehow Mikaela didn’t know about it???? Uggghhhhhh…If she’s going to try to lie to cover up or shift blame for her poor behavior, she at least needs to concoct more logical stories!)

Again, the girl overreacts to everything. Then she desperately tries to explain away or undo her bad behavior (cancelling, uncancelling, gaslighting, blaming others, etc.).  I think she has an even worse temper than Jose (which has been a focus of the experts and others), but I’m guessing because she is a woman, the experts, panelists and Jamie don’t directly address it whatsoever, and instead focus on whatever Zach is doing to trigger her. I don’t care what Zach supposedly does to “trigger her”, Mikaela’s response to seemingly anything and everything she doesn’t like is totally unacceptable. The girl needs to work on herself and her anger issues before even trying to work on a relationship. If she were a man, I’m willing to bet many people would be asking that she be removed from the show given her extreme physical outbursts.

Not sure who is crazier, Johnny or Chris from last year.  I am very sorry for Bao.

Johnny. At least Chris knew he was terrible; he just didn't care. Johnny melts down every time Bao acts as if she has interests other than catering to Johnny's Manufactured Need of the Moment. How DARE Bao interrupt Johnny while he's moving the goalposts to suggest that HER emotional needs are important, too! 🙄/sarcasm

If the "experts" are going to troll the participants (and the audience), then make the combinations more interesting. I wonder what would have happened if Michaela were paired with Gil.

Why would Zack expect to sleep in the same room if they're heading towards a "no" on decision day? Now I'm annoyed with Zack for making me side with Michaela.

Side note: loved Michaela's leaf earrings during her sit-down with Pastor Cal. She's not that great a person, but I like her style.

I am a huge fan of tipsy Myrla. She is delightful and totally someone I could hang with. Everyone else - meh.

I really despised her at the beginning, but have grown to appreciate her as the season has played out and I'm liking her quick wit and honesty.  And I think it was more on display when she'd been enjoying the 25-cent martinis.

Condensed advice to Myrla: "Kwitcherbellyakin!"

It works for Larry David.

At first I was put off by her negativity, but I've changed my view.  Their honeymoon rooms really were not the stuff dreams are made of, the pool was small, and you did have to walk across a marsh to get to the water.  She wasn't wrong.  And it's not like she pitched a fit and left because of it--she just made observations that were factual.

She's got snappy comebacks and takes and dishes shit well.  I like that in a person.

ETA:  Anybody else get second-hand Tourette's watching the selfie videos?  That just shows what you get when you don't have a producer leading talking head interviews--they were having to manufacture sentences out of four-word bits.

I noticed them too, and liked them. I thought she looked great in that sit-down, actually.

I'm the one who posted this episode description & for some reason I had in my head it was 25 cent margaritas LOL

Don't they realize there's a very real danger with some of these people?  They have been lucky that no one's gotten really hurt yet.  Michaela is so far gone I actually worry for Zach's safety even after the show is over, even if they go their separate ways on decision day.  She'll be baaaaaaaaack!!! 🤯

I agree with you and recall that one couple many seasons ago (Ryan DeNino and Jessica Castro) DID come to physical blows and some post-season shenanigans that required Jessica to get a restraining order from the court to keep him away from her and her family!

Watching last night's Unfiltered just makes me think that Johnny is the fake one in the marriage, not Boa, like he claims. In the footage of the volleyball game, his reaction to Bao arriving in a cheerleader outfit looked like he was pleased, or at least amused, and he hugged her. On the show though, he considered her to be silly and childish again, those traits he despises in her the most. Well, those were what he didn't like a few weeks ago, I have lost count of his complaints about her at this point. Bao needs to stop trying to please him, (or whomever it is she's trying to impress) relax, and just coast until Decision Day.

Michaela and Zach.... I'm not sure what to say there, other than...  maybe fire and water just don't mix.

Brett and Ryan... I feel bad  they aren't working out....

Jose and Rachel... i think they will at least make it to D-Day. Rachel worked hard to get that apology. (She confronted him, wrote a letter of complaint, and then flat out told him she wanted a sincere apology.)  Hopefully she will make Jose work hard to make up for the lock out and pettiness. People can come back from bad arguments and thoughtless actions, if they want to.

Gil and Myrla.... They just might make it past D-Day.  I didn't  think Myrla would ever tell anyone she was happy and got all she wanted in a husband. I hope Gil feels the same. At times (okay, most of the time) he wants to examine  the other couples' relationships, and advise them, so maybe he feels theirs is on point.

I know next week is the couples' weekend get-together when the drama really comes out, (that clip with Michaela being pulled back was shown!) is it evident that I am ready for Decision Day? 😩

I’m tired of Michaela using “trigger” as way to excuse the behavior and not being in control of her reactions and Rachel asking Jose about his triggers so she can avoid them. I understand not deliberately pushing someone’s button but to expect anyone to walk on eggshells around you is unreasonable and extremely immature.

Margaritas, martinis…whatever it is, if it’s legit then Houston is pretty much the best city ever! Lol

Gil is annoying too … he knows EVERYTHING just ask him … he has all the answers and seems to talk down to the other couples

I hear you, but in a way I don’t really blame him…look at everyone else on the show - everyone else is pretty much a total train wreck. We’ve got highly critical/god complex Johnny; hot tempered Jose; over emotional Zach; half dead Ryan, fifty screws loose hurricane k; overselling self/victim Bao; oblivious to red flags Rachel and doormat Brett. They all continually make unforced errors to further implode their relationships. By comparison, Gil is worlds above these people. To his credit, he has successfully navigated (so far, anyway) a relationship with an arguably challenging match (at least at first) through patience, communication and humor. He must be doing something right.

First...you guys, I think Myrla washed her hair!! Tipsy Myrla FTW!

Michela, yikes again!  I know Zack cries a lot. He's got a lot of issues but it seems like he's at least attempting to work them out. Michela was the worst possible match for him or anyone.  She really seems detached from reality, like a real personality disorder.

Johnny continues to reach new heights of assholery. Someone above said he wants to get angry and just warps everything that's said and done to accommodate that--that hits the nail on the head. Bao isn't trying enough, now she's trying too hard...she's not romantic enough, now he wants to be friends first.  I mean, WTF.  His face when someone, anyone ( Dr. Pepper even) contradicts him in the slightest....he's not safe to be around. I do continue to believe Bao is playing off this though. She's ain't THAT much of a doormat.

RYAN! ugh! I can't stand his passive negativity.  He's trying to come off like he's just sooooo considerate of Brett's feelings that he can't possibly be honest. No, dude. You're hurting her feelings already, you're just adding the additional insult to injury of not being honest.  I agree with whoever said he's unable to deal with any type of feelings or emotions whatsoever. Brett seems pretty normal to me, maybe she's not Ryan's cup of tea, but he's gross so who cares?! She should go home to her messy apartment, get a new puppy and forget him. He probably does have a side piece, he's the type.

I always forget about Jose and Rachel because they're so boring. But I'm confused; Jose kept saying "my wife bails when things get tough." Didn't he scream at her repeatedly to GTFO before he locked her out? When she called him Johnny or whatever?

These couples are horrible. I want to see next week's Hurricane K and then I'm ready for decision day.

In TX you can’t do ‘buy one get one free’ or ‘all day mimosas’ like in some other states so bars tend to run specials where you buy the first drink for $12-15 and the refills are insignificant.

Also, Zach has said explicitly that her behavior is triggering for him, which nobody but him appears to be taking seriously.

Her behavior is triggering for me, and I have a TV screen protecting me. I am sure there are many wonderful aspects to her personality and she deserves happiness like anyone else, but she has some serious emotional work to do before getting married or even dating.

She is the kind of person that would burn a house down while raging over a Three's Company-type of misunderstanding, and then once it's explained to her, play the "look what you made me do!" game and blame you for the fire. Whether or not she then tries to throw you in too is anyone's guess. Just part of the never-ending surprises of her wacky personality!

If I knew nothing about Johnny and Bao then I would conclude that Johnny is thrilled with his wife and rather pleased she showed up in a cute cheerleader outfit. He ran up to her with a big shit-eating grin and hugged her affectionately.

At the wedding and early in the honeymoon they seemed to have real palpable chemistry.

Bao said on last week's Unfiltered that Johnny was just projecting the things he did not like about himself onto her and that he is actually the one with the Jekyll/Hyde personality.

Yeah, but I'm not sure what else he was supposed to do but hug her because he didn't want to look like a dick.  LOL

Also, while they were showing some chemistry earlier in the show, it looked more like two teenagers experimenting with sex.  I just remember her being all over him while he was lying on the bed.

I think they both have Jekyll/Hyde personalities.
