Just Beyond is a horror comedy anthology series scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on October 13, 2021, with all 8 episodes released at once.

The Just Beyond TV series was created by Seth Grahame-Smith based on Boom! Studios's Graphic Novels of the same name from R. L. Stine. The series acknowledges teenage struggles, such as bullying, peer pressure and anxiety, through the use of supernatural story lines that will also keep viewers on the edge of their seats.

Episode 1    "Leave Them Kids Alone"
When 14-year-old activist Veronica Vanderhall (Mckenna Grace) is suspended from school, her parents send her to Miss Genevieve’s School for Difficult Girls, which claims to have an impeccable record for rehabilitating "problem children". Miss Genevieve (Nasim Pedrad) and her students appear to be the picture of perfection, with impeccable manners and identical, emaculate hairdos. However, Veronica soon realises that things are not as they seem and this veneer of perfection hides a dark secret. Veronica must hatch a plan to help the girls regain their voices.

Episode 2    "Parents Are From Mars, Kids Are From Venus"
Best friends Jack (Gabriel Bateman) and Ronald (Arjun Athalye) have always found their parents weird but when they stumble into the adults’ game night their embarrassment turns to shock when they are stunned by what they see. 
Their parents dressed in ornate robes, chanting and levitating objects. Are they witches? In a cult? The two 14-year-olds seek help from the owner of a local curiosities shop, who suspects their parents are aliens. When both of their families plan a trip to a remote lake house, Jack and Ronald fear for their lives.

Episode 3    "Which Witch"
As the only witch at her high school, Fiona (Rachel Marsh) has learned that the safest way to navigate her teen years is to blend in. Things are going well and her secret crush, Emilio, asks her to the homecoming dance. Then, her parents drop a bomb. Cousin Luna (Jy Prishkulnik) — who Fiona loves, is coming over from England and will be attending Fiona’s school. Unlike Fiona, Luna is proud of being a witch and eager to show off her magical abilities. Fiona must decide if she’ll continue to hide or reveal her inner witch.

Episode 4    "My Monster"
Outwardly, Olivia (Megan Stott) appears to be handling her parents’ recent divorce quite well; but inside, she’s anxious and overwhelmed. It doesn’t help that her family’s new place, her mother’s childhood home, has squeaky floorboards, flickering lights and is seriously creepy. Olivia’s fears are validated when she comes face-to-face with a masked, hulking humanoid who  quickly vanishes. When the heart-pounding hauntings continue, Olivia and her neighbor Graham (Elisha Henig) team up to solve the mystery of the masked monster.

Episode 5    "Unfiltered"
Lily Renton (Izabela Vidovic), the smart yet plain star of her high school’s Quiz Bowl Team, longs to be like the pretty celebrities or popular classmates that she admires at school. She wishes, just once, that someone would think of her as beautiful, rather than smart. Her wish comes true when a substitute teacher introduces Lily to an invite-only beauty app that magically transforms her appearance. But all choices have consequences and Lily must decide, once and for all, what is really more important in life, outer beauty or inner beauty.

Episode 6    "We've Got Spirits, Yes We Do"
Fourteen-year old Ella (Lexi Underwood) should be excited about her theatre class' field trip to the legendary Fox Theatre. Unfortunately, her ex-best friend, Zoe (Claire Andres), is also going. At the theatre, a tour guide relays a spooky legend of a fire in 1938 that took the lives of an acting troupe during rehearsal. As legend would have it, the dead thespians are looking to grab the living and force them into their phantasmal acting troupe. When a personal encounter with Zoe sends Ella running off, Ella is separated from the group and finds herself trapped in the theater after dark, and in the middle of a ghostly drama.

Episode 7    "Standing Up for Yourself"
The idyllic town of Larkinville is tormented by 13-year-old Trevor Larkin (Logan Gray), a bully with a menacing scar and massive build. Trevor is particularly pumped when a new student, fourteen-year-old Evan Burger (Henry Shepherd), aka Trevor's next victim, arrives to school. Evan wears glasses, hand-me-down clothing and has a prosthetic leg that makes him walk with a slight limp. But appearances can be deceiving and when Evan stands up for himself, Trevor’s actions will change his life — and Larkinville — forever.

Episode 8    "The Treehouse"
It’s been a year since Sam’s dad passed away, and after saving up his money, Sam (Cedric Joe) just became the proud owner of his late father’s favorite comic in mint condition. That is, until the neighborhood bully snatches it and tosses it in a puddle. Devastated, Sam hides in the treehouse he and his father built; but lightning from a fast-moving storm cracks a branch and sends him tumbling to the ground. Sam  awakens in an alternate universe, where strange yet familiar encounters ultimately force him to make some excruciating choices.
