I’ve seen a few episodes of this and overall, I like it. My biggest complaint is that it is a wee bit over-produced for my taste, with the music especially annoying. I like that it is not a flat out competition with weird last minute twists, like most of the FN baking shows and that the bakers have a chance to put out high quality work (or at least most of them do).

I enjoyed watching this. I met Christina Tosi after my daughter’s graduation at the CIA, where she gave the commencement speech. Her speech was so inspiring that my daughter completely changed her plans after graduation. Her main point to her speech was “Be comfortable being uncomfortable” so instead of taking a “comfortable” job, my daughter pushed herself towards something more unknown. Anyway, my point is that Christina Tosi is exactly like she was shown in this show. 
 

I enjoyed this series overall, but I wish there was some sort of incentive for the Bake Squad to get the most wins. Even if it’s a cheesy “trophy” or something.

If you haven’t seen it, there’s an episode of “Chef’s Table” on Netflix about Christina Tosi. It’s in the season labeled “Pastry”.

Does it drive anyone else crazy the way Gonzo keeps saying "all right!"

I have never heard anyone pronounce Ferraro Rocher as hilariously as Gonzo does.

It was the closest to mean anyone's gotten on this show but I gotta agree with Ashley that that the guys' trophy case was kinda ugly with all that dreary brown. And I don't see how it would feed 250 people.
