This was a very compelling story.   It started out looking like a straight put  stalker story.  Like Pia said a woman wanting to latch onto the families grief.   But it turned into something a lot more when she found out Nick is a straight up scumbag.

Aside from his looks, what is Nick's appeal to all of these women? Did he target vulnerable women? Emma said they were in love, but I doubt Nick would have said that.

Emma's friend played a lawyer on the Australian series Janet King. I knew she looked familiar.

I agree.  I straight up thought that woman was either making up the entire relationship with Nick or it was a one-night stand or something that she turned into more in her head.  She went from highly suspicious to me to completely sympathetic.

But she was lying right? She mentioned that she knew he was married and that he wanted to leave his wife but when she sees him on the news she was completely shocked and seemed to have no idea he lied to her. I was confused about what she was telling Pia and the cops vs what Nick (Danny) actually told her.

I thought she was just shocked by his different name and just what was happening itself.
