Because a straight woman wants to watch other women undress.  Let him suffer through an all-male revue (assuming she would even want to attend that).

I don't really think that would be tit for tat (forgive the obvious pun). I've read studies that say when asked to rate themselves on looks, men usually give themselves a much higher grade than they deserve by any objective standard. So Jovi would probably think he didn't have anything to worry about if Yara were making a comparison.

And just in general . . . where the hell do these people get their confidence? Starting with Mangela and working upward. Wherever they're buying their mirrors, I want to get me one of those.

Pre-Mylah. her only interest we saw was online shopping. Now that she has a baby, we still don't see her attempting to acclimate to the US or improve herself in any way. She doesn't appear to want to meet other new moms, explore the neighborhood or do anything besides hold and nurse her baby and complain about being alone in a strange place.

Eh, babies are pretty exhausting. And with COVID, many mom/baby activities have been cancelled, it's tough to reach out and meet other Moms - not sure if you can ask about vaccination status, etc. Plus, New Orleans can be a tough city. I grew up there, and there are nice pockets of family-friendly neighborhoods, but there is a lot of crime, it's hot as all hell in the summer (which is like 5 months) and it's not the most baby-friendly place in the world even without COVID.

Why is a woman who is caring for a new baby (or anyone, really) required to "improve herself" anyway? I moved right before COVID hit and had a baby in April 2020, and it's been a struggle trying to meet people or join anything. I work full-time, so my situation is certainly different, but I wouldn't be too motivated either way.

I didn’t mean Yara is threatened by the stripper just that she would  be bored having been in many locker and changing rooms.

Right!??! I would be like .... ok let's role the tape where you were in Nigeria and sitting there with Mama Mykull and telling her how you can "tote it" and you got 1 egg left and you will give Mykull a child. Geez - her the grass isn't greener on the other side speech was pathetic.  She doesn't need Mykull anymore. She's made her spot with TLC and wants the Mama June route.  Probably will find a husband States side like Baby Lisa did.

Mykull really bit the big one when he hooked up with Angela. It's the same with Mike and Nat. They both just gas light eachother with lies. The OG was Danielle and Mahhamit.

Yara and Jovi - Yara, you chose to marry Jovi. You knew what his life was and that he would be home 30 days and working 30 days. No secret, nothing that just changed for him. You liked the life you had with him while you were dating. Fancy trips, good times, drinking, partying, etc. Not the every day Jovi

But she tried to change him.  Big mistake.  I told my sons (and trust me, I stay OUT of their personal lives) that if you are vibing on a girl, and she is vibing back but soon starts with the:  "You know, your clothes are not hip. You need different eyeglasses.  You need to stop hanging around with your healthy minded friends who have clean and legal interests and do what I want to do and by the way you will squeeze the toothpaste the way I WANT IT SQUEEZED (yes I have heard it)......RUN!!!! RUN LIKE THERE IS NO TOMORROW!

Yara is a fucking idiot. She gets away with it because people consider her attractive. Well, fun fact: I don't, because I'm not into women and even if I were, I wouldn't be into stupid women. So I have a supernatural ability to see past the lip injections and back of Whitney Houston's closet dresses, straight to her stupid choices.

1. unplanned pregnancy (her/his fault) resulting in miscarriage (no one's fault)

2. difficult hospitalization post-pregnancy; doctor said she probably can't and definitely shouldn't get pregnant soon

3. completely ignores medical advice, gets pregnant within minutes of landing in a city she inexplicably hates

4. chooses to continue pregnancy; moans and caterwauls for months at the apparently brand-new information that Chovee is gone a lot for  work; demands he stay home with her

5. repeatedly claims to be "all alone" with no one but Mylar as her friend (not a typo -- that's literally how she says it now), while Gwen smiles patiently

6. hates America -- especially NOLA, hates being alone, admits she's too attached to her baby // spends 0 minutes working on her accent or syntax, making friends, or doing anything interesting whatsoever

7. SOMEHOW IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SHE IS PREGNANT AGAIN?! What the actual fuck, Yara. Oy with the Russian/Ukrainian women being too "natural" for birth control. Look at your life, look at your choices. You are Tiffany but with a nicer husband who has a job.

I need to give credit to @JocelynCavanaugh for this as it is ALL true, except I call fowl on Yara for #7 - I doubt she is pregnant again.  Can some someone tell me what in cold hell is the rush to become pregnant, literally, within a day of landing?  I did the math on Tiff (don't judge me) and she was pregnant like four days after landing assuming her pregnancy went full term, and by all accounts it did.

Back to women trying to change men:  I just do NOT get it:  "Oh wow, I am just so in love with you......now change everything about you."  Huh???

Getting preggers early in a relationship can be a form of fear of abandonment. The guy will be in your life for the next 18 years, one way or another. Some is accidents happen, the birth control failed, no one used any birth control. Ooopsie. A baby's job is to be a baby and not a way to cement a relationship or keep it going longer out of guilt, obligation, etc. Both will be distracted by the baby to not see red flags in their relationship and to get out before a baby comes and complicates matters. These days, no one has to marry someone because there is a baby on the way. No guarantee that a marriage will bring some stability or solve your problems.

As someone moving to a new city or country or both, I would not want to bring a baby in to my life that fast. Get used to where I am living, get used to my new routine, and see if my beloved is frauding me - i.e. being Prince Charming in my country and turning in to a gaslighter or an abuser (physical, mental, emotional) when I land and begin my life with him. I'd want to have some time to find some sort of escape route if need be. And not tie myself further with an anchor baby or whatever.

We don't know any of these people's real intentions or motives for moving here. Julia is not going to admit point blank to Brandon's friend that she only wants a Green Card. When she gets it, she will disappear. People with contacts in Immigration do watch the show.

Natalie may want to stay in the US. She also may have genuinely loved Mike when she moved to Sequim. Things changed. Covid isolated people and any issues just blew up.

Yara will not change Jovi. He has to want to change himself. He should know that taking her to a strip club on his anniversary is bad form. However, if they regularly went to strip clubs together before they got married, he may still assume she'd like to go to one with him as entertainment.

Unless he wants a 9-5 day in day out job, he is not going to change for her. He will end up resenting her - like Russ and Pao. Pao was cute and feisty at first but then things changed and Roos went along with her wishes. It doesn't last.

I squeeze my toothpaste tube any way I like.

I can see that space permitting, there would be two laundry hampers. One light coloured for light clothes, one dark coloured for dark clothes.

My favorite is when a girl tries to change a mama's boy into not a mama's boy (cough - Brandon). If you don't want to be married to a mama's boy, don't date one.

Had to laugh at Kalani being shocked Michael was breast fed until he was nine. She breast feeds her four year old, and I can't see her stopping any time soon when both boys sleep with her and her husband sleeps in a different room. Tiff is oh so close to Carly, just like Yara is with her baby? Then why does she not even seem comfortable taking care of the kid? I think her mother and Daniel did all of the care until she finally moved, and then she wanted Ronald to take over from there.

What an idiotic thing to do! The dude is lucky he is not paying child support for 18 years. Reminds of KGB (former Russian coworker) who found any dude to knock her up at 42 years old. Mama was demanding a grandchild.

Probably about 1.5 years already. Armando learned a lot of English from the US tv shows. Easy for Brandon or his mom or friend or anyone to spend a half hour teaching her the use of him, he, his. And her, her, hers.  And reading some books, newspaper articles, etc. aloud. And watching TV!

Hopefully, someone has a recollection of this too:  I read somewhere that Trish and Natalie were talking about what she did for work while in the Ukraine.  Natalie mentioned the whole fitness model and actress thing, and also that she "danced" with men who purchased tickets for such at mixers or something.  Trish said something like, "Oh, like an escort, or something?" and Natalie took that comment to mean that Trish thought she was a hooker.  Because she is demented and feels guilty because maybe she let them have a feel for an extra dollar........

I heard that, too. Also that Trish might have laughed and said the word “hooker” in jest but Natalie took great offense.

I wasn’t correcting you.  I guess we are not on the same wavelength.  I was just saying that most straight women would prefer to watch male strippers rather than female ones (if they enjoy strippers at all).  And similarly if Jovi wanted to put himself in Yara’s shoes he should ask himself would he accompany her to a male strip club because it is “fun” and therefore it should be how he wants to spend his night out?  I know there are some straight women who enjoy watching women strip but I think it’s a minority.

Maybe she phrased it as a question.  “With Mike paying for everything do you ever feel like a hooker?”  Then she could truthfully deny ever calling her a hooker.  Maybe the sound guy was on a bathroom break.

Yara not taking a pregnancy take makes no sense . She hasn’t had her period for 2 months . If she’s just stalling , she’s just delaying the inevitable and is most likely eating or drinking things she shouldn’t while pregnant .. and if she’s not pregnant , wouldn’t she want to know ?

Angela needs to hold up a mirror near another mirror so she can see the back of herself . I admire her for losing so much weight but can’t you wear something that you know , fits ?
and her hair looked like She was from romy and Michelle’s high school reunion.
If Michael is truly in love with her , then I’m God . Is there ever a moment where they get along ? Also , was she ever married to Skylas father ? I’d be so glad to meet her exes .

When they went to the Nigerian Marriage Bureau, she said she had married in her teens, [might have been pregnant] had her two daughters, divorced young and raised them as a single mother for years.

Yes! Who could forget her saying "Ah could toat et, ah just need a aig" throughout that season? And the "successful" egg-spoloratory procedure, followed by the other OB/GYN who did not even crack a pity smile at Angela's cackling spells while informing her that it might have been a cyst or something but it most certainly was not a reproductive cell. RIP, Kehinde Jr. who never existed anyway.

BTW, that cackle has gone from a mildly endearing hick habit to full-scale social assault. People whose laugh is that long, loud, and grating know exactly what they're doing: drawing and keeping attention on themselves, holding every conversation around them hostage. Nobody can even think straight when that human vuvuzela is shattering the windows, much less hear anyone else speaking. It's like that one guy (it's always a guy) in your cubicle farm who vocalizes every yawn. No strong inhale will suffice for Ted, no sir. He's going to make max volume trombone noises while you're on the phone with Zurich. People like that are why half of the American workforce wants to keep working from home post-pandemic.

Definitely, Yara may not be pregnant. It's just the fact that it's even possible, and not due to a rare failure of birth control, since neither of them even hinted at that. Yara seems reasonably intelligent, lives in the suburbs of a developed nation, and has a husband who provides for her and, although he is a stone-cold f*ckb*y, does not appear controlling or abusive, or even invested in her having a bunch of his kids right away. Having a baby should absolutely be an opt-in activity here. I'll never understand women who act like pregnancy is just this random phenomenon that happens to them without warning. We have books now, Yara. It's not up to the whims of the gods anymore.

And then there's Tiffany, who admits she got pregnant intentionally (the second time)... She's a fool who thinks too highly of herself, but I will give her the tiniest advantage over Yara in that, after she had the first "total surprise, did not see that coming, not because of any choices she made" baby, at least took some ownership for how she ended up with the next one.

I vividly remember the episode of 90 Day when we first met Jovi, and he introduced himself as someone who does whatever he wants and doesn't listen to anyone. I sent a screenshot to friends who also watch the show and said "this will come up again." He's actually turned out to be slightly less of a f*ckb*y than I expected, but he's definitely a f*ckb*y. I think he loves his kid, but isn't as bonded/obsessed as Yara, so it doesn't stand out as much.

I don’t completely believe anything Brandon says. He blames Julia for everything that goes wrong and never takes her side when there’s a conflict with other people. They probably visit his parents, just not every day. And with the way they treat Julia, it’s no surprise she’s not eager to visit them. When Brandon and Julia go to the farm, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re coerced into doing farm work. I wouldn’t want to visit them very often. I see a lot of red flags in the way Brandon treats Julia. He doesn’t respect her, and I’m not even sure he really likes her.

He sits there with a resigned expression on his face as if to say, "I'm here with my ball and chain."
As does Jovi. They have beautiful, devoted girls with basically interesting personalities, but they act as though they've won the booby prize.

I think you've got something there. Maybe that is why the scene was never replayed because those words were never spoken, it was just an assumption or misunderstanding on Natalie's part. Either way, those unsaid words seemed to play a big part in their story.

I couldn't believe Julia telling Libby she had a great family, a great dad and she joked how she could fix her mom up with Chuck. I mean, I have to believe all these people watch the show and follow each others stories. Why on earth did she say something like this? Libby's family is as dysfunctional as they get and as a family without shame they make no effort to hide that. Mind-boggling.

I feel like this was a setup to send Yara and Jovi off to The Other Way and Natalie off to The Single Life.

Family Asuelo were clearly auditioning for their own spinoff. If that's what it takes to get their ridiculous screechiness and violence off of 90DF and my screen forever, so be it. Maybe Family Chantal and Family Libby can give them acting lessons.

The only spinoff I would actually watch is Mrs. Gwen giving tough love advice in her charming bayou accent.

I FLOVE Mrs. Gwen.  She never fails to deliver.  Her assessments are the real deal.  She is perhaps the first and only ever honest person on any of the 90 Day Fiance shows.  She's fair and accurate with her advice and information.  I love her Louisiana accent, and she's such a pretty woman to look at as well.  I FLOVED when Yara got all excited to see her at the start of that segment and was saying, "My best friend.  My bestie!"  Something like that anyway, if not exactly.  How many daughter-in-laws in the world have ever or will ever have that good of a relationship with their mother-in-laws?  Not very many, that's for sure.

Jovi and she are always holding hands or physically in contact with each other, which says to me just how real their relationship is, and that they really do care for each other.  They are one of the very few of all the couples who have that connection.

Jovi may make mistakes, but he's always sincere when he's made aware of what he's done being the wrong thing.  It's awesome that he said he would/could just as easily fly to Ukraine from his job on his off months.  I really do believe that he wants Yara and Myla to be safe and happy.  He may sometimes do cringey things, but he's definitely not a terrible guy in my opinion.

Besides, both Yara and Mrs. Gwen are there to repeatedly set him on the correct path.

Did you notice that NONE of the cast members called Angela out on her behavior.   If anyone else had acted as she did, they all would have had lots to say.  👏👏 to Andre for his comment.

This makes me ragey.  I hate that that hag constantly gets away with her low class, disgusting, belligerent, abusive, bullying BS.  She has entitlement issues without the goods to back them up.  She never lets anyone else speak and constantly talks over anyone whose words she doesn't want to hear.  Her other trick, besides talking over people is to leave the room and not allow the person's words to touch her precious little ears.  If only this show would not go running after her or act like it matters that she come back.  Let that effing heifer go and dock her salary for causing outbursts and for leaving.  No one is going to miss her presence one iota.

Every single member of that cast was terrified of her and how she would rip each and every one of them a new a**hole if they dared defend Michael or speak against her in any way, so their solution is to suck up to her instead, which makes me sick to my stomach.  Poor Michael had no one to back him up except for Aunt Lydia, who at least is NOT afraid of this wretched piece of humanity.

The way Skyla follows Grungela around, yessing her to death, reminds me of Dr. Evil and his Mini-Me.  I do think that she really loves her mother and doesn't see her the same way that the rest of the normal human race does.  Stockholm syndrome anyone?  Also, that sausage casing of a dress in that horrifically ugly color that Skyla was wearing had me howling.

One of my favorite Tell Nothing moments was the episode where Rebecca stood up to Grungela on behalf of Avery and Avery's mother.  Everyone's saying they didn't realize that Rebecca was that tall until they saw her next to Grungy.  I didn't either, but I do now recall something about when she saw Zaed for the first time in person at the airport she said, "You're tall,' in a very relieved and happy voice, so I guess she is a tall woman.

It should be mandatory that Rebecca be at every cast appearance that Grungela attends so as to protect and defend fellow 90 Day folks, as well as to put Grungy in her place.

Maybe, in Julia's eyes, Libby's family represents the American Dream that she thought she was getting when she came here to marry Brandon? Sure, they fight, but she is shallow and only sees that they have big houses, nice clothes, fancy cars, go on nice trips, etc. and she believes their claims that they are wealthy

I'm not sure if that's the case or if they've been instructed to not negatively impact any potential Angela Show.  She's got an agent, so you KNOW there are negotiations.

And just in general . . . where the hell do these people get their confidence? Starting with Mangela and working upward. Wherever they're buying their mirrors, I want to get me one of those.

I've always wondered the same thing! Angie is a pathetic piece of work and how does she not know this? Everyone seems to think they are the be-all-end-all.

Charlie is a drunk. Who knows where he'd be if it wasn't for his mega-protector, Chuck? I was so happy when Andrei refused to apologize. Why should he? Who was the instigator for every family fight? I have no respect for Chuck, either, always siding with Charlie. He lives with blinders on, not able to see his little boy has grown into this unacceptable, belligerent, abusive drunk. Grow up and get some help, "bro". You are a disgrace.

Pretty sure Father Chuck is a drunk too. The depressed crying, alone kind so the kids coddle him.  Charlie approaching Chuck at the end with "Where are you staying?" was just code for is your hotel closer or mine I need a drink let's go get one together because we both need this right now. Also in the fight ep when he said to his dad "Are you going to cancel Charlie?" speaking about himself in the third person to his Dad. They are co dependent drunks.

Well, someone very carefully coached him to parrot exactly what Kalani said about it being her body, her choice, etc.

I reallyreallyreallyreally hope he learned it in the Doctor's office from her Kalani's gyno defending Kalani's choice to get an IUD or something- and the staff really made it hit home so Ausuelo can get his through his thick skull that she doesn't have to shoot humans out of her vagina with regularity.

Re the grass being greener:  Angela has no grass, green or otherwise.  Just dirt and a few prickle weeds.  Angela might be 55, but she has the back of a 78 year old.

Kolini in her red jumpsuit actually looked like what Angela thought she looked like in hers.  She is a really beautiful woman.

Yara dropping the anniversary bomb.  Damn, Jovi you know you've accomplished something when Andrei thinks it was a dick move!

Loved Natalie's dress and especially her shoes, I wish she would have been on the upper level so I could have gotten a better look at them.  Mike said she had his bank card, not credit card.  So that makes me think that he puts a certain amount in a bank account and she's got a debit card for it,

Speaking of rocking the high pony, Barbara Eden turned 90 yesterday!  I know, right??

I wouldn't exactly be thrilled about my wife traipsing off with a bottle (!) of Bacardi to hang out with another man, but if that's all there is, it isn't anywhere near as salacious as was intimated.

I know that the exchange was in Part 1, but Tiffany had just addressed Natalie about Natalie's date in New Orleans.  Tiffany said, "It might not be what everyone says it is, but yooouuu know it looks bad.  You know it looks bad." She even pointed her finger and chin for additional emphasis.

In a segment shortly thereafter, the rest of the cast clutched their pearls as Ronald accused Tiffany of being too friendly with the cameraman from the moment she landed.  Tiffany's responded, "He [Ronald] was jealous. It's not my problem."  She rushed through her entire defense and contradicted her earlier judgment of Natalie.  But, then, Tiffany is always perfect, and Tiffany is always the martyr.

That also seems to be the case with the Pillow Talkers who are overly diplomatic and walk on eggshells when they comment on Angela.

If you notice, on every tell-all the people act like they know little to nothing about each other's stories, and act surprised and shocked when they play clips.  I think the simplest explanation is that they film the tell-all right before the season starts airing.  If people had full knowledge of everything that went on, the tell-all conversations would go very differently.

Why is cold shoulder Tiffany sitting up so high like she's a freakin' princess on a throne? She needs to be put in a corner somewhere.

Oh, yeah, Angela. You are such a bigggggg baaaaad bitch! Everybody scared of you!!

I thought Angela's daughter was the only voice of reason in the family until now. I guess she has to agree with mama in order to get that check. Did they get a two for one deal on the fake ponytails?

Don't you know, no one puts baby in the corner?  LOL

Re Skyla, it's more than just the paycheck.  It's also the housing and raising of her own brats that Angela's probably responsible for.  Ain't no way Skyla's jeopardizing that.
