 Erika closing her eyes for so long while she's rattling off the different parts of her 'explanations' feels to be a tell of her lying. I wish I knew body language indicators! I'm repeating myself, but she was really dumb to participate this season.

Well to be fair, that has been one of my questions as she wafts around, bemoaning losing all of her things.  That was her #1 bragging point when she came on the show ("Every woman wants to be Erika Jayne") and now it's not worth a mention?  Made me wonder if she thought she could still do it.  Not that I think she can without Tom footing the bill, but I was wondering if she thought so.

Meanwhile - for all of her former standing by her man - now she's just throwing it all out there to see what sticks, isn't she?

I liked it when she said it was an expensive business, thus proving that it's not actually a business because they're supposed to make money for somebody. It's not like she's booked herself ragged as Erika Jayne to earn money to live in a "real" house.

So am I.  It's so luxurious and yet so home-sweet-home at the same time.

I also like the way Kyle does a lot of the cooking herself for her guests.  

Too bad Kathy totally jacked up that lasagna by cutting it hot out of the oven, especially after all of the work Kyle put into making it.  If I were Kyle, I'd have been incredibly pissed.

I really appreciated that Crystal was the only one who remained in the kitchen to help Kyle. Everyone else was on the couch listening to Erika with baited breath. I don’t know if Crystal was simply being considerate or if she smells bs and wants to distance herself from Erika.

I was confused at first, too.  I thought, "What the fuck did she bring her dog to this shindig?  Couldn't afford to board it?"  I thought it would have been incredibly rude to bring a large dog without first okaying it with the hostess.  

But then I realized she had on different clothes when cleaning up the dog shit and it was daylight.  

When she arrived at La Quinta, she had on different clothes and it was dark outside.  

I think that scene must have been filmed at a dog park or maybe in the backyard of her new place.  

She's such a cold, calculating, unfeeling piece of flesh that she never struck me as an animal person.  

Of course, she didn't appear to have a lot of genuine affection for the dog.

Probably didn't have a lot of genuine affection for Tom, either.  💰

Thanks so much for the clarification @Persnickety1! You saved me from having to go back and rewatch that scene. And agreed- no affection. She seemed to only have annoyance that her dog dared to have a normal bodily function on her watch. Whereas, in our house, we still praise our senior mutt for pooping and peeing and eating and drinking and basically existing (a holdover from when we first adopted him ten years ago and he was in desperate need of confidence and praise). 😄

Yeah, I was also confused because I thought the whole purpose of her taking the dog for a walk was so it could relieve itself, and yet she acts pissed off because it did relieve itself.

Why didn't Kyle make her "famous" lasagna before the women got there?Then, just warm them up  before eating? Maybe then the woman wouldn't have been starving and scooping out the lasagna while it was hot and sloppy. Lasgna needs to sit for a bit.  I know it's not important but that bugged me. The beautiful thing about lasagna is that it is a perfect do ahead dinner...lol sorry. Kyle's house is beautiful.

If I had to guess, the sweet doggie probably had some type of veterinary issue with their paws.

My wee boy, Hamish, had one of his paws bandaged identically last fall after he had a run-in with a damn foxtail. I didn't spot the damage until it was too late, despite our post-walk daily ritual that involves a baby wipe from head to toe. 

The damn foxtail had worked itself into his skin and had to be surgically removed. His recovery included a drain, bandages that were changed every two days and a cone of shame to keep him from tearing off the bandage for a second time.

Between complaining about her “small” (gorgeous!) house and bemoaning her dog’s poop... why would any of us feel sorry for her? I didn't see it in tonight's "Still to come on RHOBH this season" preview, but am I the only one who remembers the previews from the season premiere that showed Erika threatening Sutton at a dinner table and then Sutton challenged her with: "....or what?" Those two definitely got into more than one verbal sparring match this season. BRING. IT. ON.

Not enough Garcelle tonight. In keeping with the theme, it was absolutely criminal that we were deprived of our queen tonight. (I know it was a scheduling issue, not a Bravo snub, but she was still very missed.)

I'm sure I'll think of more than this but I just now watched this episode and all I can see at the moment is Erika with her head cocked to the side and the delicately placed hand with finger under her nose -- her moment of despair😢.

Possibly the most affected, cheesy, and absolutely phony, stagey gesture I've ever seen (& I used to do community theatre in the lower Midwest!)

She's obviously not paying anyone for optics assessment...

Put to rest any lingering doubts that she might not really be putting on a bit of an act🙄.

I'd bet he was found right in that car passed out. Maybe Mr Girardi spent hundreds of thousands funding Erika Jayne's 'career' because she caught on to what he was doing?  Or she knew all along what he was doing and he threw some her way to keep her quiet? He doesn't seem like the type of guy who would throw away that much money on her vanity project unless he felt he had to.  I see him more as the type who thinks he rescued her and her son from the bar or hostess job she had and gave her the good life as a reward for being his trophy wife (and whatever went along with that, ick!) and that should be enough.

I agree with everything everyone said tonight about this episode. You can see right thru the bullshit and lies coming from Erika. It's annoying how all of them are kissing her ass and babying her compared to how they treated Denise last season and Erika's situation is way, way worse. Denise's situation wasn't even bad or any of their business!! They all tiptoe around Erika not wanting to ask serious questions because they're afraid of her for some reason. They're so naive and gullible to believe her stories she tells about what happened.  Can you imagine if this happening to any of the other women, how horrible they would be to that person! I knew once this all came out that they all were going to kiss her ass, not ask any questions about it and baby the hell out of her. It's ridiculous and really annoying. I've noticed Rinna can't go one episode without saying Scott Disick. She's playing dumb on purpose saying they're just friends and I don't think it's that serious.  She knows she wants everyone to know that her daughter is seeing him since he's connected to the Kardashian family.  And her six inch heels look so comfy 🙄. She's such a show off all the time. She's obnoxious and it would be exhausting being around her. I am glad for once, the Crystal Sutton drama didn't happen . I hope it stays that way.

Yes! I have loved all of her homes, they’re warm and homey. I remember in her book she talked about how early marriage they were crammed in to a two bedroom apartment so I think having a comfortable home is a priority to her over style. I do prefer the Bel Air home to the Encino one though.

Dorit was positively the color of a Dorito and she was sitting on Kyle's white sofa and I kept hoping she would not get that orange snack chip color would not get on the couch.

Dorit's kids are the best thing about her, they are adorable.

Erika was doing her best to build her defense as an honest, hard working, salt of the earth, above reproach, pearl clutching woman who never knew where the money came from using the RHOBH platform, the problem is she used the RHOBH to build her brand as a rich, young woman with a fabulous alter ego that entertains around the world, a fabulous glam team that escorts her everywhere, first class everything, etc...it is hard to make us forget her Cartier leopard bracelet, (some are in the six digit family), the wardrobe, all the trappings of wealth she enjoyed. It is interesting that she said she left almost everything behind, I say she knew it would be seized to pay off the injured parties but some how she will spin it as a selfless act to make good when her husband could not.

I will not feel sorry Erika when she will have to live a more mainstream life but I doubt it will be for very long, she will snag another rich guy quickly because Erika is a survivor.

Did Erika use Kyle's neon guy or was it the other way around?

Kathy's hair is really thinning, she has oodles of money to fix that.

I have loved all of Kyle's homes, the Palm Springs is amazing, it is refreshing that Kyle does not have staff there. 

What am I doing wrong that I do not have an assistant?  I mean am I a supposed to just wander thru my house muttering to myself???  

Rinna packing her suitcase was hilarious, just grab it all by the hangers and stuff it in a suitcase, love that!

If any of you invite me to your vacation home please be aware that I will not be having a costume change for dinner, my Gucci sweat suit will just have to suffice, also hair and makeup will be minimal.

And at his age with ALL of that he would be in the hospital.  I think this is a fake story to explain away his "dementia" and I think she left because she realized the money went dry and the business arrangement no longer suited her.

And the fact that the ladies did not realize Erika Jayne gig was a money loser tells me they took acting lessons.  Dorito is probably the happiest of all because at least PK did not screw over Widows, Orphans and Burn Victims!

Okay, a few episodes I thought well, it's possible Erika didn't know.

I think it's still possible she didn't know the extent or where he was embezzling from, but this story she is weaving is so all over the place I can only surmise that she knew he is a shady mother fucker and didn't care as long as she was getting paid.

And really -- she would've been better off pretending shock of it all.  The fact she is trying to cover him by saying he's got dementia now -- complete with the ridiculous car accident story - says a lot. 

I mean, you can drive the same curvy fucking road a million times, but reach for your cell phone, lose control and crash.  It doesn't mean that you have dementia.  And why the need to lie about the accident or not divulge what really happened?  My guess is he was probably drunk. The only other reason to not divulge the cause of the accident -- attempted suicide?  Whatever the case, her stories about the car accident are purposeful yet they don't make sense.

(Also, I saw Sutton on WWHL and I could def see that she's an awkward, somewhat irritating person.  She came off WEIRD.  I'm becoming more team Crystal now lol)

I am certain that Bravo picks up a lot of the expense, especially because of Covid, they have to make sure the cast is as safe as possible to film if the chose not to stay with Kyle. Also I am not sure how many bedrooms were there.

I've loved the Lisa Rinna/Harry Hamlin home too.

Italian inspired. Not over the top ostentatious. Beautiful grounds.
