Kail faces a court battle with Chris. Bar’s DUI resurfaces & threatens to ruin Ashley’s graduation party. Leah finds out if she needs surgery on her tumor. After meeting with a lawyer about Luis’ parental rights, Briana is left with some hard choices.

Why is MTV calling Leah’s cyst a “tumor?”

Leah, a cyst is not a tumor. It's not something your kids need to be informed about. You don't have cancer. Even if you legit thought you might you should probably wait until you were certain before telling the kids. They shouldn't have to worry about something like that unless you really have cancer. Please come up with a better fake storyline next year, or retire from reality tv.

I sort of like Ashley. She seems to be doing the work to have an actual career once Teen Mom 2 goes away. It's sad she hasn't figured out she can do better than Bar.

I rolled my eyes through the Jade/Sean segments. I'll believe it's over once those two have managed to stay away from each other for a significant amount of time. Breaking up and then getting back together is what they do.

How could Leah have thought it was cancer when the doctor said it was benign?  She is pathetic.

That damn Briana.  First she's talking about putting the baby daddies on child support, which grates no end.  And now she's talking about having the State relinquish Luis's parental rights.  The only person who can relinquish Luis's parental rights is Luis.

And poor Ste-la on the phone crying.  For one, that shouldn't be aired because I think she was truly distressed and not just throwing a tantrum (not that tantrums are fair game for people who can't give consent to have them recorded and aired, either).  But why was she so distressed?  Because some guy she has no relationship with comes and picks her up from day care.  And whose idea was that?!  Does this girl never learn?  She did the same thing with Nova, sending her for an overnight at Devoin's, with a terrible result--and she keeps doing it. 

It's bad enough that she's so morose about how her daughters don't have fathers, but then she makes it worse than it has to be.  The coven has plenty of time to sit around and yak--get one of them to go out with Ste-la and Luis, to help make Ste-la more comfortable. 

I just can't stand it when people not only don't make things better, but do things that make them worse.  And then complain.

This was heartbreaking.  Brianna trying to force this loser onto her daughter is probably doing more damage than an absent father could.  Luis is NOT interested in being a Dad Brianna.  If your mother has to call his mother to get him to pay attention to his kid then just stop.  She needs to accept reality and and maybe think about her taste in men, present guy included, and how to fix that.

I was appalled at Brianna's ill conceived decision to allow Luis to pick up Stella from school. Because she never knew her father, she is determined to force a relationship between Luis and Stella, despite the fact that Stella clearly is uncomfortable and frightened of him. To me, this is abusive. Stella's fear and dislike of him is concerning. If this was my child I would keep him at arms length and not allow her to be alone with him. Luis is creepy and gross...Brianna had a drunken one night stand/booty call with a loser she met in a nightclub. She did not have a meaningful or loving relationship to build a healthy foundation for a relationship between Stella and Luis...so stop...just stop. You are terrorizing your daughter. If you want child support on a regular basis, go to court. But stop pushing this relationship mess with your daughter. It's not meant to be and Stella seems just fine being loved by her mom, grandma and auntie...for the good of this child STOP!

Kail is awful...she couldn't politely tell her producer that she wasn't allowed by the judge to discuss the outcome of the court desicion...she had to answer him with a snippy, snarky response..."I don't want to talk about it..." and then later talking to the camera and calmly detailing why she CAN'T talk about it! Also...I. notice how tolerant she is and actually kind of grovels when she's around Chris...she would NEVER talk to Javi or Jo the way she talks so submissively to Chris. What is with her and this guy? He's a real asshole and I noticed the way he kept saying "My kids" and "My son" constantly. She would totally bang him again and have another couple kids with him. She's pathetic. and he knows he has this weird sway over her...he can get what he wants, when he wants and he can treat her like shit with little to no consequence. She disgusts me.

Sean needs to stop already and get a damn job.  Flip burgers, wash dishes, get a real job with a real paycheck.   He wants to be a music producer but lives with a homeless friend in a motel.  What the hell?  Who pays his bills?  Jade by way of MTV?  

Meanwhile both he and Jade need parenting classes.  I don't think Jade has a clue how to parent Kloie because she herself was parented so poorly.  

This probably goes for Sean too but I don't really care about that loser.  He needs to just stay away from both Jade and Kloie until and IF he ever gets his act together.

Exactly!!!! Red flags!!! Has he touched her inappropriately? There is some reason she is so scared of him and acts the way she does when she is confronted with having to be with him alone. I'm not accusing him of anything, but usually when a child has this kind of visceral reaction to being with an adult there's a reason for it.

Did you see Stella right in the middle of Brianna and her mother while they trashed Luis?  She hung on to every word.  Of course she’s unhappy with him.  She barely knows him

Like not knowing who the hell he is, why he is picking her up instead of her mother or aunt or grandma?   You can't tell a child to beware of strangers and then expect them to happily accept being put in a car by some man they may or may not remember being around.

I'm with you.  I don't think there's any reason to assume her reaction is because Luis has assaulted her.  She's like four years old, and spends all her time with the coven who, as @Bluesky pointed out, talk trash about Luis right in front of her.  And, what man is she ever around?  From what we see, it's only Devoin, who is a slight little thing compared to big hairy Luis.  Even the new boyfriend is short, I think.

Plus, when has Luis had a chance to do anything?  He's barely spent any time with her, and I know it would take just a few seconds, but he doesn't seem to have that kind of gumption.

They mentioned that Stella is three years old. And they trash talk Luis constantly in front of her so why they think she would be thrilled to see this largely unknown distant and uncomfortable man pick her up from school is beyond me. Brianna is so stupid. And no court is going to order a parent's rights terminated because he doesn't visit enough unless we are talking years and abandonment is alleged. Luis has not abandoned Stella. In fact, Brianna has ensured that abandonment could not be alleged by insisting on these infrequent awkward visits. I agree that if Brianna really wanted to foster a relationship with Luis and Stella she would arrange for Luis and the family to do things together, to visit together, so that Stella wasn't alone with him. She needs to get to know him and warm up to him, if that's possible. Shoving her at him for unsupervised visits is just freaking her out. 

Sean is such a waste. His revision of what happened to get him kicked out was laughable.  He shouldn't be made 'the house bitch'. Good grief, it's his own kid and he uses taking care of Kloie while Jade actually works at bringing in money as his excuse for moving in after he has been thrown out for being a waste multiple times. But now he is 'emasculated' and not the 'house bitch' and isn't being respected for the time it takes him to 'work' at 'making music'. He needs an actual job and to never ever live with Jade again. I hope she sticks to it this time.

I liked the Ashley graduation celebration. When I was young I did the same thing she did, get the associate degree and then go forward to get further education, in my case a bachelor's. My thinking was that my life was difficult and I couldn't be certain I would get as far as a bachelor's so I took the courses to do both the associate and transfer for the bachelor's just in case I never did achieve the bachelor's and I'd have something to actually show for all my hard work regardless. I am proud of her and her party looked so fun. Too bad Bar had to ruin it at the end there and get arrested. Like I keep saying, this is your future Ashley. I applaud her patience and her understanding of Bar's situation but I am not at all sure he will change enough to be the person Ashley needs him to be to move forward in her life. He tries but I don't think he has it in him to change that much.

Leah and her melodramatic 'tumor' talks is ridiculous. I can't get mad at her because her intentions and effort are great. It's just that she's such an idiot about this that I can't with her. 

Kail and Chris are so weird together. They are both controlling so I can see why her relationship with Chris is very different than those with Jo and Javi. She can't control Chris the way she walked all over the other two. So she is more circumspect and plaintive and calm speaking to Chris. He is an unpredictable clown of a fool and dealing with him on anything at all must be a nightmare. That she did this twice with him is bizarre. I think she likes that he won't let her get away with stuff like the other two kinda did. But still, unpredictable idiot is not what I would be looking for in a father for my children. She really stepped in it with this guy.

I agree with all of your observations. Ashley is for now literally giving it the old college try with Bar, but if he doesn't get it together, I suspect she will leave him behind and find herself a true partner and just co-parent with him. Why does he have a firearm? I hope it doesn't get them kicked out of the house they had to pay a year's rent in advance for.

Sending Luis to pick up Stella on his own was a bad idea. I believe they've arranged group visits with him and he was always a no-show.

Khloe seems so much happier and relaxed without deadbeat Sean. And yes, he needs to get a real job.

Leah spends half her life making up dramastic nonsense for a story line, so it's possible she's exaggerating all of this for the show and sympathy from her family/fans/the girls.  On the other hand, I do genuinely believe Leah is among the small percentage of people who are so intellectually challenged it is quite possible the doctor could tell her a tumor is benign and she would have no idea what that meant.  

I am also shocked by how much Leah's older daughter looks like her, and then I remember that we first started watching this nonsense when Leah herself was 16 or 17.  The original kids are getting way to old for this crap, although at least with Leah she isn't currently broadcasting anything so dramastic as to be embarrassing to her kids, aside from how stupid she is, which isn't really a secret.

Leah was way out of bounds with her kids and the constant "talks" about her "tumor"...good grief! Why traumatize these kids about this and make them worry Mommy might die??? I mean, really??? The entire season was spent on this as a story line. I had a lump once..I went to a specialist gyn doctor who did an ultrasound and discovered it was a benign cyst. He aspirated it and everything was good after that. I did not tell my kids about it and get them worried that "Mommy might die"...OMG! MTV needs to let her go if she is going to make a simple issue into an entire season of nothingness.

I was literally stunned that Bar has to do jail time for a DUI and then we see him holding two or three different bottles of booze and getting wasted. Afterwards he gets arrested for firing a gun???!!! Where was Holly when Mommy and Daddy were getting trashed and Daddy was firing a gun off??? I appreciate that Ashley completed her Associates Degree but considering there was a pandemic going on and when this was shot the mask mandates and safe distancing protocols were still in place that it seems a little risky and irresponsible to have such a gathering when more than likely most everyone there probably hadn't gotten a vaccine yet. Maybe a more subdued and smaller function with no booze would have kept Bar sober and the gun incident might not have happened. He's got a world of legal issues now and he will probably do some significant jail time for this since so many people and a child were there. Ashley needs to move on from this guy. He keeps screwing up and he needs to to AA or get himself into a program or this kind of stuff will continue to go on. I feel sorry for Holly...she's smart and adorable...she deserves better.

Sean's bitter and nasty rebuke of Jade as "emasculating" and using him as "house bitch" was pathetic and disgusting. So taking care of your child while your baby mama is working and paying the bills is "emasculating" and she made you into "house bitch"? As I recall he would always come to her hat in hand asking for forgiveness and vowing to be a better boyfriend and father and then HE would offer to take care of Kloie so she could work...now it appears he only did it for free room and board. His hair trigger temper with Kloie is scary as hell and the way he yelled in her face should have resulted in him getting kicked out that night. He's an angry guy who has no clue on how to  parent a toddler. He scares the crap out of me and Jade should not allow him alone with Kloie...his vistation should be supervised.

I was actually impressed by how Leah managed to spin a cyst into a 3-4 episode "OMG, what if I have cancer?!" storyline (after being told in like the first episode that it wasn't a tumor and wasn't cancerous), but yeah. Completely ridiculous. I can't blame her for fucking with MTV to get the check, but she shouldn't have involved the kids.

All of this, but I feel like it's not even really about Briana wanting Stella to have a relationship with her sperm donor; it's about Briana wanting a storyline for her reality show. Disgusting. Stella has very clearly stated that she doesn't like Luis and doesn't want to be alone with him over and over. It's weird and disturbing that Briana ignores that while she feigns concern for storyline reasons. I wasn't even sure that she really met with an attorney because what she said makes no sense. Based on what she's said previously, Luis has no "parental rights" to revoke. He doesn't see Stella because he has court-mandated visitation; he sees her because Briana allows him to whenever he asks/it's convenient for her. It was sad to see the Coven sitting around bitching about what an asshole Luis is while they allowed him to pick Stella up alone. Why couldn't any of them have gone with him to make Stella more comfortable? I think they wanted Stella to have a meltdown for "storyline reasons," which is abusive and disgusting.

I'd forgotten this.  Do we know why they had to pay a year's rent in advance?  I mean, just looking at Bar and his forehead and teardrop tattoos I'd demand it, but I'm judgy like that.  I'm wondering what their landlord was basing it on.

This was an amazing post with such good points!!  Yeah, why does she kind of joke around with him?  He's so gross.  His attitude and the way he talks.  Isaac and Lincoln will grow up decently.  As much as a philanderer Javi tries to be Lincoln is involved in his activities, Javi has a steady job, stable home, ect.  And of course Jo is fine.  But Lux and Creed are going to have this negative, trashy dad in their life.  I don't feel sorry for dumb Kail and he decision to have 3 baby daddies.

Sean is fucking crazy.   Jade went through school because she WORKED HARD AND DID NOT STOP TO BE A DRUG ADDICT.  He's such a loser.  He'll continously blame her for keeping him down and it was really his own doing.  He didn't want to finish school, he doesn't want to go to any completion programs.  He wants to just have fun making music.    He should be thanking Jade for not having to live on the street.

I fast forwarded through all of Leah's scenes.  There are 5 episodes in a row talking about keeping up with her health.  Shut up.  If you allow a tumor to grow because you don't want a scar and feel like your boobs will "deflate" then you do not want to keep up with your health.

As I recall from the episode where Ashley talked about it, it was supposedly because the house was newly constructed and "most people don't want to rent out a brand new house." Except that that makes no sense. I would assume that the real reason is that they have a bad credit score/rental history and/or because they were planning to have film crews coming in and out.

In addition to them possibly having bad credit. Was Bar still awaiting Trial/Sentencing for his DUI when they signed the lease? The landlord may have done background checks. I'm guessing him on the lease is why she had to pay so far in advance.

Sean doesn’t “make music”…he uses computer generated programs that “make music”. Making real music involves being able to play an instrument or write songs…neither of which Sean can do. Jade should be thankful she has one less familial leech sucking her bank account dry.
