Kelcey is up there with Gina, Caroline and Claire for best technique. I love that she just dances and doesn't have any tricks in there. 

She should be on the outside of the triangle somewhere too.

I also found it interesting that all the girls with long blonde hair weren't chosen - Madeline, Tori, Ashlinn, Kleine, etc. And yes, three of those four went through makeovers within the last two years, but that's never stopped them before. Might just be a weird coincidence, but I definitely noticed it.

I know in past seasons there have been comments that indicated that not everyone gets one. Rainer says “Some girls come in looking great. We don’t do makeovers just to do makeovers.” And in Brandi Kilby’s second training camp she says “I was excited to hear that I was getting a makeover this year.”

Conducting oneself well in the media is really a tall order.

Focusing on not making mistakes is also not very impressive and cannot be viewed as conducting oneself well in the media. Finishing everything off with platitudes and basically saying nothing, is also not impressive. In this light, most cheerleaders aren't really good.

So, in the land of the blind, the one-eyed person is king, and in my eyes Kat is at least entertaining. 'If you are not frying it, you are not doing it right', is something really memorable, just like KaShara's 'these pants are shorter than my attention span'.

Exciting but flawed is better than flawless and boring.

I think that the “DCC Look” is so well known that many of the ladies come already prepared and don’t need the full treatment

That's pretty much my thought process as well. I don't really care if Rachel is not the strongest point and will never be the strongest point. She's a very solid dancer, she has a great feminine figure i.e., not too skinny or too athletic, she's beautiful and seems to be a great teammate. The girl never seems to miss a mark, ever. She's nothing if she's not consistent. I'd rather watch her than Gina, even though Gina is technically the best veteran dancer on the team.

I can't tell if what she is wearing is a wig (didn't look like it on my little screen -- but little screen), but what was on her head seemed just fine and with a little tweaking would have been gorgeous. Ava’s makeover🤩🤩🤩 Miss girl looked so good. I really hope she comes back next year. I can’t justify her cut besides them giving her an extra year to mature that was needed more than others because she’s young. But wow she looks good

I love that the woman from Roser salon is there for Kelee's consultation, and the wig change is wonderful.   Ava's major change is her makeup.    KayDiana is getting over 1/2 pound of extensions taken out.  They're only doing 9 makeovers.  I love KayDianna's look.   

I don't think Presley's red hair makeover was right for her.  I don't think the color change did anything for her, and I think they got the color wrong.

That's so sad Lisa was in so much pain.   She was smart to step back. 

I wish on the group dance they would pull the camera back enough to see the entire group at once. 

Presley was the right one to go,

Alora-Rose, that was interesting, but I hate the conversation is now a cliff hanger.

I am hoping it was her choice to continue to wear a wig.

I think they made her a new wig - showing her face more and giving her a highlight colors. A probably with a better selection of hair type/product.   IMO the previous wig was just too much hair - she has  a small face.  And wigs do have a lifespan, so that could also been an issue with her old one.

Wig stylists are just like regular stylist is that there are good ones and there are better ones, and the outcome could be remarkable,

So gray stickers from the show group auditions indicated cuts. Pretty clear that everyone cut Presley.  Kellie, Judy, Jacie, MJ, Kitty Carter, SD and then MRS added hers. All gray stickers.

Megan was originally cut by MRS - but rescinded tonight. Megan was also cut by MJ and SD.

Christina was cut by MRS only

Kelee was cut by MRS - but rescinded. Kelee was also cut by MJ.

Ava was cut by MRS - but rescinded. She was also cut by SD.

What's interesting to me is that we have no idea who else Kitty or Jacie cut. We are missing 4 girls each for them.  Same with Kellie and Judy. And we are missing some of MJ's and SDs cuts too.

I know the stickers are usually all for show and never really mean anything but it's interesting to me that so many of the choices are missing from the edit.

ETA - I guess they all probably cut Ashley. I had forgotten she was still there when show group auditions happened. So we are missing three for Kitty and Jacie.

There are at least 5 better choices for point. I’ll never understand what Gina does for K and J that she doesn’t do for the majority of the viewers. Her personality is basic at best and her dancing is mid trier on the team.

Kelee was definitely wearing a wig. They just made her a better one.

Not a fan of Rose Studio, the place that does the wigs for the AA women. I don't understand how she can produce a normal looking wig for Kelee and Ashlee but still can't produce a good one for Kat? 

As someone who sometimes wears wigs, it's not that hard to blend the part and make it look natural. A huge disservice to such a pretty girl.

After Kat's rookie season they starting sending the women to Rose Style studio. Not sure what's going on now, but here is pic of Kat with a unit from this studio. Her wigs in the past were also more blonde. DCC seems to like their AA women to have to have a more black and brown look.

I totally agree! I feel like Kelcey is overlooked a lot, but she is such a beautiful technical dancer. I really can see her being in the triangle in the future

The more I watch, the more I love Lea. Her makeover adds the perfect little pop she needed and Kelli touching up her hair at practice was kind of cute little interaction haha.

Also, Kelee's confidence boost after her makeover made me so happy! She's so cute.

😁 yeah after the year+ we just had with salons closed, many still on zoom calls, along with her DCC celebrity, she really could have a great side hustle. Wonder how would that pass the " employed" requirement (not sure of her educational persuits) that K&J have being a YouTubber/ IG product placer.
