I love Tiffany's Pizza oven & wine cave. Her home is beautiful & I enjoy watching the "House Porn ". The series is much more enjoyable to watch than RHOC or RHOBH.

I have eaten crickets in the past, but I wouldn't put it on my pizza nor would I surprise my guests with it.

Tiffany's husband is very nice. Is his wine widely available ?

If Kam is wrong to lord her "etiquette advantage" over others, then Tiffany is wrong to lord her "IQ advantage" over others.

I don't really see Kam doing that very much, tbh. I think she's a good hostess and always makes her guests feel welcome, which is etiquette rule number one. Sometimes I get a sense that people (perhaps Tiffany, Brandi) are triggered by Kam and her centerpieces and many forks and because of that find offense where none is intended. Shrug.

Maybe Kam is sensitive and feels inferior about not being as smart as Tiffany. Perhaps she is triggered in that way.

I’m going to defend Tiffany a bit. As I child I never had another kid or sibling to play with. I didn’t spend my life in books and lessons  like she did, but I was isolated. I met my first playmate when I was 9. It didn’t work out well because she had siblings and I was far less socially developed. Socially I have always had trouble. My playing well skills with others was never developed at an early age and people don’t like you when you are trying to figure these things out as a teen. So what did I do...I chose another solitary activity. Horses and I was good with a few State Championships under my belt. I have been around enough years to have made a few friends. I have a handful of good ones and that are over a few decades long. To this day I still get nervous when people come around and in groups of them. I can relate to Tiffany. I’m like her (minus the high level of education and overachievements), but without all the money and opportunities.

Yesssssss.. OMG..... I am the same way .. I grew up an only child and was ALONE a lot of that time (being in the hospital every year for at least a month at a time didn't help my social skills ) So i have the same issue ... I shut down in large groups of people .. And I cant stand for people to be in my house for long periods of time because it is MY space where I feel safe ....

I really cannot stand Kary.  She's so angry.

Anyone know what Tiffany does for a living?  I don't think she's mentioned that--at all.

D'Andra's face, though.  Her lips look odd.  Her face looks odd from the side (pulled back so much).  She's much prettier without the heavy make up.

Another only child here.  I had to learn how to speak to other kids.  Only children are like little adults, as they only talk to adults, and my parents, wouldn't you know it, were grammar sticklers.  But I learned really fast that I shouldn't correct other kids' grammar and other things. I too still prefer small groups or solitary activities.  My husband is a similar type and we are great at parallel play.

As for Tiffany, she should have picked kup some clues.

I think the women are looking for reasons to pick on/pick at Tiffany but I think she’s doing a lot with these rules. But I get it. Everyone runs their home in a different way.

I wsa thinking that she had such an intense life between schooling and her chosen field and being so young she doesn't know how to be silly.  She seems like she needs a tutor in having fun.  Her prank was really misguided but again, done because she isn't good at this sort of thing.  I wouldn't be happy being served something I may not choose on my own however, I would have looked for it before biting.

Her rules don't seem unreasonable. The ladies need some.

Yes, let's talk about the shaman, the vibe was weird, I would be interested to know how much D'Andra is paying for a session of soul cleansing.  He greated her with a hug at the door and with a "hey girlfriend," then she took her mask off, didn't she have Covid, wouldn't she be careful after that?

Here's what I have noticed about mask wearing on this show - they don't wear them in each others' houses, or when their in the car together, but they ALWAYS wear them to walk from the car to the person's house.  What kind of weird virtue signaling is this? 😄

I waver on Tiffany and I think it’s mostly because I do like her, but she is kinda like an awkward preteen when she socializes. She wants to be fun and she wants to be cool, but she’s not quite sure how to just be chill. Tiffany said she met her husband at the club... I don’t doubt her, but I’m sure having a hard time picturing Tiffany at a club.

Stephanie is my favorite, but I do like Brandi as well. I like that they have a genuine friendship, like to have fun, aren't snobby, aren't competitive, neither one is malicious. Stephanie is the gentler of the two, but I could see myself being friends with the both of them.

Yes, I so appreciate this too about their friendship. I might be forgetting something, but I don’t feel like there’s even a hint of competitiveness between them (unless it’s something like who can make the stinkiest fart or whatever). Bravo is of course notorious for it, but it’s not like most of our media landscape isn’t littered with competitive bouts between women. It’s really, really refreshing to watch the ease of their relationship.

I don’t really have much to add to the cricket discussion except to say they’re popping up a lot in dog treats now. They’re a great source of protein and much more sustainable than other “meats.” And while I have not eaten a cricket and have no plans to, I can say my notoriously picky boy was VERY into these Jiminy’s treats when I picked up a bag:

Pink crickets are apparently very rare, but maybe Kam can find a way to start breeding them? Sparkle Dog Cricket Edition! Hell, Kam might even eat them herself if they’re pink!

Well, it’s happening. A college in Tokyo has successfully bred rare pink crickets. It’s clearly a nascent operation at the moment, but I now want a RHOD trip to Japan next season (or whenever it’s safe to travel) under the guise of Kam’s business. She can do a poster board and everything for Court to show him the value of a business trip to investigate the breeding of pink crickets to expand the possibilities of Sparkle Dog.

Agreed. Brandi may be a prankster. Some of the stuff she does isn't funny to me either, but there's a difference between being immature and chasing someone around with a dildo and trying to get your guests to eat things outside of their comfort zone.

There are lots of people who are against outdoor shoes being worn in the house, and I totally get Tiffany not wanting to be up super late when she's a mom and a doctor. But her overall vibe wasn't welcoming. It did remind me a little of Yolanda on Beverly Hills. IRC, she basically told her guests it was time to go once. lol

@Keywestclubkid I'm aware of that but try not to think about it haha

It's not about eating a cricket. If you want to eat them, have at it. It's the forcing other people to eat something they don't want to eat by sneaking it into food. That's the problem.

I agree it wasn't done with malice, but it was done against their will. Tiffany had full knowledge that most of them did not want to eat a cricket because they said so, out loud, to Tiffany. But Tiffany *knew better*, and she felt the need to educate those unadventurous eaters, because *her way* is better.  So she tricked them. I don't think that's cool.  I found her attitude rather condescending, which is a turn off for me.

IT's true that no one was harmed by it, well except Brandi who did actually get sick. And for that Tiffany seemed sincere in both her regret and her apology, and I can see she is socially awkward and struggles, but that doesn't give her the right to force her dietary habits onto others. Not crickets. Not chicken feet. And it doesn't give her the right to imply a sinister and ugly motive (racism or xenophobia) because someone doesn't want or like the same things she does.

The thing that Kam said about chicken feet in the argument ( I went back and watched) was that the consumption of the feet wasn't cultural to Tiffanys background when it is/was ... then Kam tried to make it something that it wasn't .... So if Kam can tell Tiff what is and isnt part of her culture why cant Tiff correct the words that Kam misuses?

MMMMM rabbit (no offense but its really good).. I am from the south where my family hunted a lot .. I saw what the food looked like before it was "food" if ya know what I am saying (before you skinned it and cut it up) ... A lot of people just think that food comes prepackaged and looks like that and disassociates what the "meat" actually came from and was a actual living breathing cow or chicken or duck or fish or frog or hog or wild bore (wild bore is soooo good)  etc etc.. the first time I ate deer my mom had to tell me it was Chicken because I had a thing for deer ....

I’m well aware. From the south as well. My husband hunts, I don’t eat meat though. So, I’m not one of those “people” that disassociates prepackaged meat from where it comes from.

Tiffany felt (I;m assuming here) that Kam was rejecting her culture by not eating the chicken feet and then being full on offensive by not treating them with the reverence they deserved as veritable cultural icons.

Kam's point was refusal to eat something is not an outright refusal of a culture because there's more to culture than one particular food.

I agree with Kam on that point.

Tiff took it like, how the hell can you tell me what is and is not my own culture.

I agree with Tiffany that Kam shouldn't do that.

But in the end, I think Tiffany read it wrong and misunderstood what Kam meant. Kam was trying to say, I'm rejecting chicken feet, not China or Chinese people.

I think Tiffany’s problem, as others have alluded to, is that she doesn’t really know how to make friends or read a room as to what would be funny.  She’s never had the practice or other girls growing up to learn how to read people and comes across as awkward in social situations.  She’s still annoying though but Her husband seems like a real sweetie and extremely patient and gentle with her. Travis could take some lessons from him.

And of course none of this had to happen except for that the Queen of Etiquette had to bring it up again to "estabwish her boundawies" at Kary's birthday party!!  I was on her side of the chicken feet debate until that - now she deserves what she gets 😄

I’m also a cricket eater! Just once in the before times when a coworker brought in cricket crackers/chips. I tried them but many coworkers did not & no one gave them any flack. I’m a really adventurous eater in that I will try anything once but if someone sneaked one of the few foods I don’t like into my food, I would be furious. It’s the act itself. It felt gross-like giving someone a mocktail with booze & not telling them. BUT Brandi’s reaction? The Crappens podcast said she acted like a child & I agree. I kept waiting for her to say the puking was a prank. It was so dramatic

I waver on most of them every episode, except for Stephanie who seems wonderful & Kary, who seems exhausting & defensive.

I’m an adventurous eater to the point that I have a policy of if there is something on the menu that I’ve never seen before I order it unless it is price prohibitive.

However, I also realize that people can have a very complicated relationship with food so if they don’t want to try something let them be.  They’re not going to starve.

And I would also make for very bad tv.....

My city has a large street festival each year.  Except last year, boo covid.  One booth sells crickets to eat and they make a lot of money.  I think they are chocolate covered.  Never tried them myself, but I love seafood and even crayfish, so probably similar.

Now, I could never eat chicken feet, but that has more to do with my bird phobia.  But, I can eat other parts of chicken if cut up.

I like Brandi, but I really think the throwing up was forced.  If I had to throw up, no way I could have waited first for a bowl, then to put shoe on.  I would have just had to go out in the yard and let it rip.

Awww my dear Tiffany! She really lost points this episode with the women and I am dreading the punishment Kary must have in store for her for the trip next week! She threatened Tiffany with making her follow her rules. Let’s see, last year she insisted on sharing beds. Will it be clothes this time? Eduardo? I kid.

I have a no-shoes house policy as well and I know it’s cultural. However, I have never yelled at a guest who came in with them on like she did poor D’andra. You just very politely, casually mention “ Oh you know, do you mind wearing these slippers or booties instead”...Making your guests comfortable should be the only rule when hosting. And that means not sending a curfew text and putting crickets in food. What is her issue with forcing people to eat food they don’t want? But I still love her, her closet, kids and hubby.

Brandy’s face looks as strange as Travis. Did they have the same doctor? They both look hideous.

D’andra is def a magic mushroom. I laughed my ass off watching her with her “Shaman” I thought it was a bit harsh when Brandy called her sometimes toxic.

I've never been able to stand Brandi.  Girl needs attention sooo bad.  Surprising everyone with crickets in their food would have been hilarious to her (and so then also to Stephanie) if SHE had done it.  There would have been tons of cricket jokes with her and Stephanie doing their Bevis and Butthead heh-heh-heh laughing together.  I'm sure she had her finger down her throat the minute she got behind the bathroom door.  All about that drama!

Plus, her looks are off this season.  Maybe too much forehead botox and eyebrow bleaching? Not sure but she looks... pulled or something.

Two things come to mind, one, ride a motorcycle, you will ingest a bug or two, lol and from my sleep away camp days, bug juice, it did not get that name by accident, gnats would find their way in to the jug and in to our mouths...I miss Camp Louise and all the gnats.

I am still not on Team Tiffany and her Cricket Pizza, nothing okay with her sneaky ways to get the HW's to eat a bug but truthfully, bug eating has probably happened at a BBQ or picnic at some point in the HW's lives.

The no shoes thing is real in some Asian cultures.  I have some Korean friends who insist that everyone leave shoes outside and give you slippers or you can go in bare feet.  It's less about actually dirtying the floor than being an absolute taboo.  Hey, orthodox Jews think women are unclean during their period.  There are so many cultural taboos around cleanliness.

Incidentally, for some reason in the show 90 Day Fiance and its spinoffs, posters are always commenting when someone puts a suitcase on the  bed.  This is apparently an absolute taboo for some, and I personally have never even thought about it.

Kam needs a new shtick - she cultivates the dumbass, pampered, baby-talking blonde routine and then feels insulted if anyone calls her out for being a dumbass, pampered, baby-talking blonde.

Stephanie has the right idea imo - kids are getting older; time to add something enriching for herself. Maybe Kam could read a few books instead of dreaming up idiotic new ways to use the color pink.

Tiffany has no social skills whatsoever - her and all her money should have supplied some monogrammed Gucci slippers for her guests.  I totally respect the no shoes in the house rule - but putting booties over heels make it difficult to walk on her no doubt marble floors, and then had a pair of gucci slides for their outdoor portion of this clusterf*ck party.  I LOVE that they held Tiff to her curfew.  good for them.

So I know Brandi is currently pregnant. I'm not sure how far along she is or if she's had her baby, but could her throwing up have been from the early pregnancy sickness? I've never been pregnant but some of my friends have and they didn't just get morning sickness, they would get sick if they saw or even thought of a certain food. Brandi hearing she ate crickets could have been from that but idk if she was already pregnant when this was filmed. She has been seen drinking.

I'm liking Tiffany but I do agree she is making some missteps here. I know when I hang out with certain people who aren't partiers and go to bed early like me, I wouldn't have to say "you need to leave at a certain time". But she knows how much these women party so maybe she felt the need to make it clear to them. It probably should have been worded differently.

I go back and forth on Kam but I cracked up at her driving in the car in her robe, the towel on her head, the sunglasses and Fanci on her lap.

Suitcases on beds are taboo in my household and it has nothing to do with culture.  Think where those suitcases have been.  Airport floors, cargo compartments, chutes, carousels, hotel lobby floors, train or bus cargo compartments, trunks of cars. Then there is the concern of bedbugs, which can spread like wildfire, and which can be transported in luggage.  Not that long ago, there was a nationwide bedbug issue in hotels. Ew!

Does anyone know the deal with Stephanie's "charity"?  Someone (not here) alluded to it having been around for years and not something she just started.  Anyone have a clue for that?

I was wondering that too.  I don't really understand her charity.  She's giving schools lockers??  Is there really a need for this?  And during a pandemic where they aren't in school full time she's going to update the lockers??  Give them nicer ones??  I really like Stephanie a lot but this just seems like busy work.  This is Stephanie needs a story line or something to do other than be up Brandi's butt.  IDK, again I like her (and Brandi) but wow this is just so boring to me.  #sorrynotsorry

I like Tiffany but ITA that hiding crickets in everyone's pizza was uncalled for.  Tell everyone that your pizza has crickets on it and let them decide if they want to eat it.  Also I would have liked her, or someone, to try and sell the cricket idea.  It's a low fat, very nutritious form of protein, and I believe it's more enviromentally friendly to eat bugs than farm animals pro bugs
