Slightly spoilerish re: Steffy's wedding dress

I love the berry color on her and it is by far the best of her wedding attire by light-years. But geez, it looks like the twins were about to pop out if she moved in the wrong direction! ?

Interesting outfit = Fugly as usual :/

You would never believe who designed that jumpsuit and the price. It's by Monique Lhuillier. :-/ They needed to do alterations. It's supposed to be more fitted, and why did they add that terrible train that's a different colour?!

[http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/monique-lhuillier-ready-to-wed-guipure-lace-jumpsuit/4247095] Looks better on the model.

I went to a wedding last month, and the bride went for a more avant garde look by wearing a lace pant suit. She knocked it out of the park. This falls short for me. I realise it's her 50th wedding, but yeah, it's not working. It's fugly.

Where's a Jean -Luc Picard facepalm pic when you need it?

The pantsuit could've worked without the train. I think the costume designers always want to add their 'flair' and it just doesn't work. At least her puppies are restrained.

WTH is Ivy wearing? Katie looked good.

Spoiler

Interesting Bill wasn't Liam's best man....

Sally's ensemble is....interesting. Seems fitting for her character.

I feel like the costume department was trying to be different/add flair for her 10th wedding, but the train is unnecessary. The jumpsuit by itself is fine and would have worked for her x wedding to Liam. It takes a bold personality to pull off a jumpsuit/pant suit with a train. I feel like the costume department might have seen this bride's look or a similar one and thought, "Hmm. Let's take some of the elements (lace, train, etc) and use them for Steffy's next wedding look!" Not my style, but hey more power to this bride! I think if the designer had intended for a train to be part of the jumpsuit Steffys wearing, she would've made it blend and of the same fabric/colour. Sometimes it is better to leave well enough alone!

The cast is going to be on Family Feud. They are in Melbourne and possibly filming scenes for the show. KKL was telling fans on Twitter or IG. I can't remember which one.

Too bad Steve Harvey's Celebrity Family Feud is on ABC. Him mixing it up with the cast of B&B vs Y&R would be quite funny.

Steffy/JMW was modeling a dark purple dress in one of the earlier links that look elegant enough for a wedding, aside from her puppies trying to run off leash. Why couldn't she have worn that instead? It's not like anyone on B&B can convincingly wear white anyway, if you know what I mean.

Also, wearing jumpsuits for two different weddings? The opposite of bold, Steffy. It made sense when she drove in on a motorbike, but this...thing? The Princess Diana train and plunging neckline just doesn't mesh.

When I saw that picture, I thought it was the wedding dress.  It makes sense for a 3rd or 4th wedding.

The Washington native will be previewing his new songs live in concert at the Tropicana Hotel on Sunday, March 26, and Monday, March 27.

Also, why does TK look cleaner in candid shots? I noticed this from the airport photo. Is greasy-hair Ridge intentional?

I think the hair people on the show put way too much product in his hair & it comes across on-screen as greasy.  I jokingly call him filthy on the boards, but I don't think he really is.

I thought TK's hair looked much better at the wedding but boy howdy, I hate this story line with him and Quinn. Q and E have been married a New York minute and she's already cheating on him? And this is why we can't have nice things.

I loved this part of an article I saw on Soap Central :)

A wedding without Steffy in a cake fight or with poop in her hair is like Liam without the Quinn whine. Strange, isn't it, that he didn't even manage a grimace in Quinn's direction at the wedding? As I said before, his fear of Quinn disappeared right along with Steffy's tattoo.

Steffy got Sally back for the dessert incident at Il Giardino, but I'm not sure it was wise of Steffy to exact the revenge during a social media war. Was it justice for Steffy when she decided Sally ought to try picking cake out of her hair like Steffy claimed she was still doing ever since Tiramisu-gate the other week?

To be fair, Steffy knows good and well that weave is changeable and disposable. If she didn't want to glue in new weave herself, all she had to do was go to the hairstylist. Next, if Steffy thought Sally's wig was her real hair, then an optometrist needs to make a house call on Steffy.

It's highly unlikely that Sally will bother picking chocolate cake out of the wig. Sally will most likely toss it in the Forrester trash, and Charlie will sniff it out and lick whatever chocolate he can get off it.

I saw that Susan Flannery directed an episode of The Fosters (never saw it) that aired Feb 21...at the urging of their Executive Producer, Joanna Johnson!  But don't expect a visit from ghost Stephanie anytime soon!  She also said she doesn't watch The Bold & the Beautiful...I'd love to know what she'd think of the show if she were watching!  It does say that she still sees Aly Mills & KKL, maybe they fill her in :)

What a great article, thanks for posting it ByTor.  Since we haven't heard from SF, I have to admit I was a little bit worried about her health, but it sounds like she's thriving!  I love that she's still talking to some cast members, exactly the two I thought she'd keep in touch with.  And how cool is it that Joanna Johnson got her old friend to direct an episode?  So cool.  I wish her  a long and productive retirement.

Susan Flannery  has always been one of my favorites on any of the soaps. She's just the best actress and how she acted with Ronn Moss is beyond me because he was just the worst actor I've ever seen. If she can act with him, she's a champ! I'm so happy that she's found another outlet for her creative talents. So happy for you, Susan!

Article on the Steam wedding and shooting in Australia.

This from Clifton cracked me up:

“There were hundreds and hundreds of people screaming and crying and wanting to touch us,” says Clifton. “It was absolutely nuts!” And nothing at all like the U.S. “Stop at the supermarket on the way home from the studio and nobody gives a s--t,” Clifton says with a laugh. “In L.A., everyone’s an actor. But going to Australia was like going to another planet. We all got to feel like Brad Pitt!” The experience was both “humbling and ego-boosting,” Clifton adds. “When we returned home, what we do felt much more meaningful. The trip really lit a fire under our asses.”

Oh, give me a freaking break. It's a soap opera, Clifton. You're not curing cancer here no matter how your Australian fans reacted. This show just sucks and you know it.

In his defense,  no one in Hollywood will blast a project they're apart of. Everyone knows everyone and being too loose-lipped can mean never working in that town again. See also: Muhney, Michael.

Still, I can't imagine what it's like to have the majority of one's acting career in one role that hardly anyone in your native country have seen you in. It may not be curing cancer, but if it motivates him to push for some story beyond being a carnival prize or Mr. Stephanie Forrester II, I ain't gonna be mad. The guy has earned that evil twin story Clifton mentioned wanting to do on The Talk a few months back.

Truth is, for all the bitching, I wouldn't follow this show if there wasn't any entertainment to be had ?

I don't know.  At points in my life I didn't have much, if anything to look forward to the next day and it may not be curing cancer but someone's stories can make enduring it a little more bearable. And if their experience means less time for the cast phoning it in, then yay?

Kim Matula got a pilot Fox's ‘LA-> Vegas’

http://deadline.com/2017/03/peter-onorati-s-w-a-t-cbs-pilot-kim-matula-fox-comedy-la-vegas-1202045988/

Kim Matula (UnReal) has booked a series-regular role opposite Dylan McDermott in Fox’s comedy pilot LA -> Vegas, from Gary Sanchez Prods. Written by Lon Zimmet and directed by Steve Levitan, LA – > Vegas is an ensemble workplace comedy set on the Friday night flight from LAX to Vegas and the returning flight on Sunday. It is about a group of underdogs trying to find their place in the world who all share the same goal: to come back a winner in the casino of life. Matula will play Ronnie, the head flight attendant. Matula recently wrapped production on Fighting With My Family, written and directed by Stephen Merchant, and she is coming off a starring role in Season 2 of Lifetime’s hit series UnReal. She’s repped by Silver Lining Entertainment and Innovative Artists.

JMW did have some party travel show (on E maybe?).  I imagine it didn't do too well, otherwise I don't think she ever would have come back to B&B.

Exactly.

I know it was rumored she left because of all the focus KM was getting, but shitty writing aside, the latter could turn in a halfway decent performance every so often. The last time JMW has been applauded for good acting was when she miscarried the PuffWaffle spawn.

Not that it was her fault as the show went in a completely different direction than how she portrayed the character in her one episode, but JMW was the original Sara Lance on Arrow. When they decided to take Sara from for party girl to believable kickass martial arts assassin they recast her with Caity Lotz.  Sara ended up to be pretty pivotal to the point they resurrected her again and spun her off onto another show that's now in season 2.

The show should do her a solid and recast her as someone else in the DC Universe or have her come back as someone saying she's the real Sara Lance to make everyone's heads explode because losing out on a part like that has GOT to burn even if you've been in the business for a while.
