I bet Shannon's kids are so happy that she has to isolate in another part of the house. Being locked in with someone as high strung as Shannon would be hell.

Shannon was isolating at John's house. Yay for the kids!

Also, why all the flashbacks to Tamrarat and Icki, I thought they were gone so why do I keep seeing them?

I live in fear that they will bring those two bags back!

BTW Kelly, Hawaii is part of the USA.

This was hilarious and so on point for Kelly; berating someone for not going to college and not traveling abroad, except of course, Hawaii haha.   Kelly is continuously oblivious to most things and is the very last one of these ho-wives to be talking about education and travel.

I think her big, loud mouth is rude and crude and more often than not, mean.

I imagine [Emily] can't isolate because who would watch the kids?  You can't really have people coming into your house when you are positive, and you don't want family members to come in if they are older.  I would feel bad about my sister or brother in law watching them, I would not have the nanny come - I wouldn't want them exposed.

Which makes me wonder who was staying with the kids when she took Sean to the hospital.  Could it be they had someone come over and everybody stayed in the back yard until Emily got back?  Although she said she was there for hours.

I think Gina brought up the most astute point during that conversation, that during her DUI arrest, at no point did she ever fear the arresting officers, which is not something she'd be able to say with certainty were she not white.

I agree, and I'm sure helped to have an experience that she could compare directly.  But that doesn't mean that someone who hasn't experienced something like that can't come to the same realization.

It must have taken Kelly every bit of restraint she had in her to avoid blurting out "all lives matter."

No doubt.  But does anyone know the basis for Kelly accusing Braunwyn of hiring a photographer to take her photo at the protest?  All I've heard is her assertion, and that assertion repeated in stories about the episode.  How did she find this out?

Do we know for sure it was a professional photographer at the protest?  Couldn't it have been. "can you take a picture of me, thanks"?

At the Lake Arrowhead get together, the women just didn't mesh.

I would think the reason that Braunwyn is on the show, other than for the attention, is because she knew her gravy train wasn't going to be around much longer and she had to have some income of her own.   She had to live her truth, and doing so was going to end the marriage.

Agree with your post, and not to defend Kelly AT ALL, or Fox News for that matter, but they have many non-conservatives working in front of the camera, Donna Brazile, Juan Williams, Sheppard Smith (yes he left, but he was working there for years) they also have many non-conservative panelists working there. Again, not defending anyone here, and not saying Rick Leventhal is or is not conservative. Actually don’t really know his personal political positions. Anyone can say anything in public for brownie points, (Brawnwyn and her hired photographer at her protest insta moment) and vote a different way.

(Also adding that many MANY true conservatives would beg to differ that Fox News is conservative. It may seem that they are by non-conservatives, but in reality their conservative viewers have been leaving in droves.)

Well, yes, but let's be clear that the argument began because Kelly said that Rick's daughter says he's conservative. Presumably his daughters, both of whom are adults, know their father's politics. If they think he's conservative, I see no reason to doubt them.

Braunwyn is... troubled, but I did have to laugh at her statement about Kelly being the only Arizona State alum she's met who thinks that makes her a member of Mensa.  And FWIW, while Kelly is a Mexican-American, she is white (as far as I can tell, anyway), which she didn't really clarify.

Quite honestly, the person who won that argument was Gina, who was able to articulate the concerns of the BLM movement and its allies in much more clear and approachable language than Braunwyn.

I felt badly for Emily and Shane, seems like they really went through it.

I have no problem with a big girl wearing a bikini. Unfortunately Elizabeth's was three sizes too small and cutting into her flesh. Everything that she wears fits like a second skin. I suspect she thinks it's holding it all in, when in reality it only creates extra rolls and makes her look heavier.

Sick of Kelli pointing out she's Mexican when someone questions her opinions on race issues. Bitch, you have mexican ancestors but your at least 2 generations away from being in touch with that heritage. With all that face work, Botox, filler and spray tan she doesn't really look like any discernable race.

The Shane situation was scary and I really felt for Emily. It did get on my nerves how many times she mentioned that she was trying to take care of little kids and doing everything else. Yes it's hard, but it's been done by literally billions so stop acting like it's such a big feat.

Brown wind is looking rode hard and put away wet. I expect her to foam at the mouth and whinny "meigh, meigh, meigh", at any moment.

So little Shannon, so much relief.

Gina's still riding high on that wave of being this seasons most likeable person.

Agree.  I also think that's why she didn't have a choice to skip the trip - it's her job.  I'm thinking these trips are mandatory and the compromise was to not stay in the house but in a hotel.

Brawnwyn comes into the house, and sadly, slowly walks by all the piles of booze on the counter. Really lingering by them, her down-turned mouth even more down-turned than usual. Wanting us to be horrified at the rest of the cast’s insensitivity to her new desire to be sober. And pity her plight. Poor put-upon Brawnwyn. Give me a break. Does she really expect everyone to bend over backwards for her because she just realized that she’s an alcoholic? These aren’t your friends, dumbass, these are people you fight with on tv. Go dig up more shit on the new girl. Go belittle your kids’ ocd. Go scream at your husband for walking over to close a window, then hit him while you’re at it. She is such a narcissistic insufferable bitch! Only Brawnwyn matters in this world. Not a shred of empathy for anyone else. Unless there’s a paid photographer there to get the right angle. She really makes me sick.

And then she blames her Mother for her misfortunes.  That’s a cop/ out.  She’s responsible for herself.

Based on the VERY limited viewing, it looks like it was originally a vacation bungalow that was built on a tiny beach-adjacent lot when those properties could be had for a song.  Over the years, people have purchased adjoining lots, demolished the bungalows, and built much larger, full-time residences.  It looks like that's what happened on both sides of his place.

BrownWind  is the worst.  She calls Sean and then yells at him for not answering immediately.  How dare he take care of their children when she needs him.  It was really important too.  She wanted to complain again about how hard her life is.

Last season I never would have thought Emily and Shannon would be the ones calling each other for support.  Meanwhile everyone else is off partying.

Similar to Fraudwyn talking about current events giving me the vomits.  Let’s see, B got married at 18, claims she never did a load of laundry and has 2 nannies, and hates her life of luxury.  So, she protests and ensures someone is documenting her actions, to take the focus off what a self centered, narcissistic, selfish pig she has become, while treating others miserably...She didn’t major in anything but she was too busy getting pregnant between drinking binges.  Then she expects her husband to put up with all her antics.  I hope he throws her to the curb and has full custody of the kids. I did pause it, lol.   It did look like a little house between two giant ones but then they showed the view from the front/oceanside and it looked like the two big buildings had a roof type thing OVER John's house.   Whatever the situation is, waterfront in the OC wasn't cheap.

When the show was over and they were showing clips about what's coming up for next week you see Shannon crying about her life and saying she thinks she's losing John because he's just over it.  And I paused my dvr at the next scene and it was of a very haggard looking John hunched over on the couch looking like he'd been through a war! 🤣🤣 (oops! Why can't this update of "Baby Jane" be a reality...? Surely there is some Housewives-obsessed filmmaker out there to make this happen? Or maybe Kyle and Kim Richards. If Gus Van Sant can do a shot-for-shot remake of "Psycho," can't we have the Housewives-version of "Baby Jane?" Maybe Ryan Murphy's next project...

Kyle and Kim would be absolute perfection in a remake of this - Kim as Baby Jane and Kyle as Blanche!!  (And, judging by Kim's last few appearances on RHBH, they won't need to do much in the makeup department!)  It's also kind of biographical!!

That vacation felt very uncomfortable - like when a bunch of girls at highschool who don't get a long have to spend time together. You could just feel that they were there because they are contractually obliged to turn up and would never be friends in real life - hint, producers... that means you've got the formula very wrong. Kelly is an idiot who thinks that because she went to uni she somehow has a monopoly on knowledge and being across current affairs. The communism comment was laughable, especially for those of us who live outside the US.

I see watermarks on pictures taken by civilians sometimes.  And even if it's a photo by a professional, how do we know Braunwyn arranged it?

I've done some poking around and I don't see any "evidence" that Braunwyn hired a photographer.  I saw one page(?) of her Instagram about the protest, and it had a bunch of photos but none that have any indication that they were taken by a professional, never mind one who Braunwyn arranged to be there to take her picture.  There's a People article about Kelly's accusation, which has a photo of both Kelly and Braunwyn, and the one of Braunwyn is from the protest and is credited to "Leonard Ortiz/MediaNews Group/Orange County Register via Getty"; Leonard Ortiz is a staff photographer at the Orange County Register.  Could that possibly be what Kelly is basing this on?

And the only thing the article said was that Kelly told Elizabeth that Braunwyn had hired a photographer, and she also said it in a confessional.  I can't find anything that indicates why she's saying it.

I hate Braunwyn as much as the next guy and am loath to defend her, but it rankles when people say things and they are taken as true, and then repeated in stories all over the internet.  It happened with the SLC HWs--one of them said her husband's family inherited a bunch of money from Howard Hughes, citing the Mormon connection, but that can't be the case because all of the estate went to a bunch of Hughes's cousins.  But there are stories all over everywhere saying her husband's family inherited money from Howard Hughes--just because that's what she said on the show.

Not sure if this comment is relevant to the topic, but Fox was the most watched cable news channel in 2020. In fact, the 6pm news slot on Fox beats all of the 6pm slots on cable, and ABC, NBC and CBS.

Rick Leventhal has served at Fox since 1997.  He was a war correspondent for the vast majority of the last 2 decades. He was one of the first reporters reporting on 9/11.  He was also reporting during the raid/killing of Osama Bin Laden.  He’s no light weight.  Ones feelings on Kelly Dodd don’t take away from his accomplishments.

That’s not completely accurate. Irrespective of my not favorable personal view on the news division, from a factual standpoint, their news division has been the source of A LOT of criticism from other news outlets and media researchers. There is respect for some of the notables- such as Shepard Smith, as someone mentioned above. But Smith’s recent departure is also emblematic of many of the problems with their “news” division and how it operates in tandem with their “opinion” programming.

First, yay! Change of topic from Covid, alcoholism, and Rick's dick.  Second, I hope BW spills what she found out from the PI.  I'm still pissed that Dorinda didn't divulge what she had in that alleged file she had on Sonja on NY.  I don't want to be teased with the prospect of good gossip and not get anything.  In actuality, if something truly juicy came out, it'd have been spilled by now.  But I can always hope.

Re: John's house

It did look like a tiny house sandwiched between two monstrous houses. It was on some kind of sliver of water, perhaps a marina? Even his unimpressive  home is probably worth close to a million because it's in the OC and if it's in Newport on any kind of water even more. How crazy is that?
