Chris can’t possibly think we actually enjoy the men tell all.

I would’ve preferred Riley in f4 in place of Brendan. We’ve been watching Brendan whine over potentially having to propose already and that just continues it looks like from the preview; three shots of him crying in the promo; as if he didn‘t know this is the freaking bachelorette; as if he didn’t have an opportunity to leave when Clare left; but then not enough airtime for him. Stop choosing these men who will not propose to the top 4. I’m so tired of the storyline. The show’s timeline is ridiculous but you signed up for it and had plenty of opportunity to leave and I’m not letting Tayshia off the hook because should’ve sent him home last week.

 I disagree.

There is a difference between agreeing that IF you met the right person, fell in love, and were compatible, you would be ready to propose, and agreeing to be in love and ready to propose to one particular woman.   The premise of the show is that if you are chosen, you will propose.  Because every man there MUST be in love with Tayshia.   The road to getting to that point can be rocky, and all kinds of things can happen along the way that can interfere with a man being ready to propose.

I wonder where the MTA was filmed. I can't imagine that they stayed at La Quinta for months afterward.

They filmed it at the PA resort where the staff was staying to film the Bach season coming up. (Matt James)

Who here remembers Chasen, raise your hand.

Yeah, me neither. Why are they fighting over some dude that isn't even there.

I remember him, but only because I detested him when he was still on the show.

I don't think the show was trying to make Clare look "over-the-hill."  That would be taking Yousef's side.  I don't think they took Yousef's side.

The guy who said "Clare who?" was Zac who is one of the final four and seems to be pretty into Tayshia.  I can't really blame any of the guys for fully welcoming her.  Most of them didn't really have any time with Clare since she turned everything around to spend more time with Dale.

I do like that they're all in the same area.  It has seemingly led to a lot more casual and impromptu conversations.

I'm no longer a Clare fan and I'm sure the show had a right to be disappointed in her, but  they've been almost as mean to her as Yousef and his "THIRTY NINE YEARS OLD!" rant.  We didn't need to hear a guy say, "Clare who?" or Chris go on about how he was worried the men wouldn't like the change in leads but when Tayshia walked in all their jaws dropped and they instantly forgot Clare.  We get it show, Tayshia is younger and sexier and has bigger boobs. Clare is old and totally undesirable.  You can stop now.

I can’t really muster up any sympathy for Clare.  She never gave the men a chance since she was dead set on Dale already, which is fine, but she was disrespectful to the guys as well.  I wasn’t surprised by that edit at all.  ‘Clare who?’ indeed.

I was never a huge Tayishia fan, but she has done a pretty good job and has shown a lot of respect to the process and the men that are there.

I had felt the same way too, but I was very, very, very disappointed in what she said to both Blake and Riley when they got to speak with her on the MTA.  Blake was expressing how he has been thinking every day about how when Tayshia sent him home, she said something about how there wasn't enough time, and it has basically haunted him about what if they had had more time?  And instead of making it clear, for his sake in moving forward, that there wasn't enough of an attraction, or her connection with other guys was greater and she knew they wouldn't catch up, or whatever it really was, she instead kept going with the time thing, which keeps him in his head about what-ifs and does not help him heal.  Likewise with Riley, he was lamenting having taken so long to open up to her and the toll that may have taken on their relationship.  And again, she kept going with that, rather than being honest about any other factors that led to her sending him home, so he wouldn't have had to keep beating himself up and could begin to heal.  It was almost as if she wanted them to continue holding a torch for her.

As for age, Clare and everyone else on the show, including Chris Harrison, is young to me because I'm so old my boobs look exactly like Tayshia's.

Yeah, seriously, what is up with that?  She is a young woman who takes pride in her appearance, so why has she so badly miscalculated in this area?  Either she is not aware of how it looks at all when her ample boobs are so unsupported, or she is aware and thinks it looks good.  It's odd, cause she went to the other extreme in that white-shorts-with-wedding-train looking outfit that she was wearing when talking to Bennett in her room, and her boobs were very very prominently supported and it didn't look good either.

Tayshia can't help that she's got big hanging boobs--they are what they are.  However, I get the impression that she thinks they're her prime "asset," which is why she mostly doesn't wear a bra.  I do think she'd look much better if she did.

yes, to the guys, it was like, they all paraded in front of Clare, and she picked one, like she was selecting a pastry from a case "ooh, yummy, I'll take THAT one!"  and she never got to know the others.  (who had quarantined for the chance to meet her!)   Tayshia at least tried to get to know the guys as individuals.

Aw....Brendan's my favorite of the 4 guys left.  Maybe that's why I don't feel like we've seen him "whining" over potentially having to propose and instead -- in my view -- he's just expressed some concerns over proposing to someone within weeks of having met them (flashbacks to Peter Kraus from Rachel's season), which I think is entirely reasonable.  I'd venture to say that it's actually a sign that the person is taking the prospect of engagement and marriage seriously, even if it goes against the basic premise of the show.   I certainly haven't seen anything that looks like he's hyping up drama for more air time, but YMMV.

Then he should’ve left. That’s all I’m saying.

He’s another Peter K to me. He’s not feeling tayshia but didnt leave because he wanted airtime. I don’t think we really saw him pursuing Clare or Tayshia, just lurking in the back and getting by on being cute.

Brendan is not ready to propose on the show or off, IMO. He’s just taking up space and didn’t sign up to fall in love, not with Clare and not with Tayshia. All JMO

They've probably had to sign NDA's, but I'd be interested in hearing the limo drivers dish on what the Bachelor/ette contestants say when they get into the limo.  There's probably a lot of truth-telling and venting going on.

There's always a producer in the limo actively trying to get the rejectee to say as much and show as much emotion as possible. And they make the driver keep driving until the producer feels they have enough material. Some past contestants have said that they were driven around for hours, and finally cried because they were so tired/annoyed, not because they were sad at being rejected.

I'm not a man, but I saw an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians many years ago that shed some light on this important question. Kim had just started dating Kanye West, and he was trying to explain to her why he likes hanging boobs. He said it's because he watched a lot of 80s porn growing up, and that's how porn actresses looked at the time. Kim was using her hands to demonstrate different boob heights, and Kanye kept saying "lower" until Kim's hands were just above her waist.

It's not Tayshia's responsibility to give them reasons until they can find one they agree with and that will give them peace.  She made her decision.  She gave a reason.  It's a fair reason given the circumstances under which they met.  In fact, I think it was a completely unfair question for Blake to ask. He kept trying to debate his way out of her decision and when someone is in that mode, it's really hard to give them a reason they'd find acceptable until they're over her too. And if she's mean, she'd get flack for that too.  Clearly four men were already ahead of him.  More time likely wouldn't have moved him up. There are a lot of short term relationships that end that might not have if all involved had kept trying or someone better wasn't out there.

She even gave a reason why things might have progressed more slowly with them--his alleged strong feelings for Clare.  His strong feelings for Clare and then strong feelings for Tayshia potentially says one of three things about him.  He either feigned feelings for both to increase his visibility which means I don't feel sorry for him.  Or feigned feelings for Clare to increase his visibility and genuinely fell for Tayshia in which case he was a victim of his choices and I don't feel sorry for him.

Or he genuinely fell for both which makes him an excellent candidate for BIP and I don't feel sorry for him because he'll be over Tayshia and under someone new pretty soon.

As for Riley, the impression I got is that he handled things well and took ownership that it took him a while to open up.

I am team Noah.  He seems intelligent and easy going.  He put up with a lot of needling from the other guys and never lost his cool.  When Kenny attacked Noah, man, not a good look for Kenny.  I feel like no one on TMTA articulated the source of the drama as appeared to viewers, that is, the guys were pissed that Noah got the group date rose on the wrestling date.  They were angry at Tayshia about it, but of course could not be angry at Tayshia, so redirected their anger to Noah.

Bennet looked like a real tool on TMTA.

Bennet really has a complex about the whole "Harvard asshole" thing he has going on. He leans into it but he seems like he is also really sensitive about people thinking the worst of him about it.

But don't worry Bennet, I don't judge you for your Patrick Bateman style, I judge you for being a prick with no emotional intelligence.

He’s made himself a caricature of what he thinks a Harvard graduate should look like.  He takes great pains to dress a certain way and speak a certain way.  And then he complains that people judge him based on his appearance and speech.  So act normal then!

I have family members, co-workers and friends who graduated from Harvard and I lived in Cambridge for four years. No one acts like him.  No one dresses like him.  No one lets everyone know they went to Harvard within 5 minutes.  He’s probably the butt of jokes at work.

Noah responded by sneering (approximately, I'm not going back to get the exact quote) "says the One Direction manager with a star tattoo on his neck." In other words, attacking Kenny's profession and appearance.

Whether you agree with that or not, it's just as petty as Bennett making snide remarks about Noah's maturity and intelligence.

Oh, I forgot to mention that. I liked Kenny but he really soured me on TMTA. He came off like he was really desperate for airtime so he decided to join the boring, unnecessary pile on of Noah for that reason. It was embarrassing.

I assume you meant Tayshia, but at any rate, if you genuinely care about someone, and you break up with them, then you should care about giving them peace.  If you know that your feelings will never progress for someone, and that it wasn't because of anything they did wrong, then giving break-up reasons that encourage them to hold out hope of getting back together, or that make them agonize over what they could have done differently, is cruel.

Oops.  I will edit.

I just think it's rare that a reason for a breakup helps people move on if they're not ready to move on already. If they're still in the relationship mindset, the whatifs won't stop.  Even Blake was thinking "if only she met my family...." which is kind of silly.  I don't think she's going to fall for him if she sees him with his family.  But in his mind, she can't know that.

I think that that might have been true in the moment on the show.  But at Men Yell All it was clear that Blake was asking if it was just a matter of time and she should have just said "no, I realized that there was no future."  At that point it was really about letting him move on and however crazy it is waffling on that issue is giving false hope.  I actually like Tayshia but she has been showing a real inability to think about what is going on with the other person over the last couple of episodes.

Agreed. This show, being the strange thing that it is,  the people who get cut are constantly  told "I think you're amazing, but we just didn't have enough time1" and that must be maddening to go home with.  The honest follow up to that is, "The reason we didn't have enough time was I didn't find you that attractive, so I didn't invite you on one-on-ones or seek you out during group dates."  Of course that would be mean, but there must be  nice ways to say that, like your example.

Yeah, the "old and undesirable" thing was what I think the show is trying to tell us about Clare because they hate her now.  I personally think Clare is one of the prettiest women the show has ever had on.  As for age, Clare and everyone else on the show, including Chris Harrison, is young to me because I'm so old my boobs look exactly like Tayshia's.  Hubs and I were commenting on the similarity last night when she came out in her pink flowered nighty dress that revealed every detail.

LOL!

I don't think it has anything to do with Clare's age.  And she is very beautiful.  For me, I just think she was a terrible Bachelorette.  And it wasn't because she chose her guy right away--she just really was not good at the role for many reasons.  I was never a huge Tayishia fan, but she has done a pretty good job and has shown a lot of respect to the process and the men that are there.

It's kind of ridiculous someone with Clare's looks is considered this sad old lady by anyone! Her face is classically pretty. Her body is super fit. Tayshia may have the larger cup size, but Clare is busty herself. Her skin is also pretty. Tbh, the talk about her age is what got pretty old. You know Yosef did it just to hurt her feelings. Clare is not a grandma with gray hair, wrinkles, and cellulite-not that, that would have warranted meanness or age shaming. She's the kind of woman men find smoking hot-until she rejects them.

Tayshia's bountiful boobies were a little distracting at times. She's not shy about the cleavage, but I do think she's got a killer figure. I wasn't blessed with boobs that naturally big, but that's what large, NATURAL breasts look like. Vast majority of women as skinny as she is either are smaller chested or have had augmentations, so I think people forget very large natural boobs have a hang to them. If I were Tayshia I would have worn bras with more support, but those are not breasts that need a lift or anything. She hit the genetic jackpot as far as I'm concerned.

Count me in on the Noah love. He's adorable and a great sport. Hope to see him on Paradise! He's a cutie, young, and would have lots of fun. I'm sure the girls will go crazy over him.
