mythoughtis March 4, 2022 Share March 4, 2022 (edited) Doc brought that on himself. He certainly did need to have told hope where he was going ahead of time. If they are a couple, she had a right to know if he’s leaving town. And given that he cheated on her before and that it took her 20 years to forgive him , he needs to be upfront about his travels. He also needed to not meet Muriel for lunch there and not involve her ( if he did) in his planning for his proposal. Given that he lied about what he was doing.
