1 episode covers the time from the March lockdown until the "country started emerging from quarantine" (that I wasn't aware ever had an end 🤔)? Alrighty then. I'm glad I finally drank the Kool-Aid & have Hallmark Christmas movies to fill the background of playing on my phone instead of this shit.

Kail is such a trip. When Issac said he didn’t want to go to his father’s house, Kail made a big thing about it with her “friends”, telling them she felt Issac is old enough to decide which parent he wants to spend more time with.  Now that Issac asked to spend more time at his father’s house because his grandma was there, Kail said no because he would be away from his brothers or whatever such nonsense she said and also she is NOW of the mind that he is not old enough to make decisions about how long to spend with either parent.  LOL...oh Kail. Sooo transparent.

Exactly!  What a bitch. And she did not acknowledge that she was now changing her mind. She said she and Jo had different parenting ideas. No, bitch.  Now you both agree.

Update:  ok, watched the rest and she did acknowledge it. Growth.

It's all about control...she has to have complete control. She cannot stand it that Jo and Javi provide something for those boys that she cannot...extended family that love them and spend quality time with them. This drives her crazy and make her jealous. Her comment about not putting Chris's name on the new baby's birth certificate or giving the baby his last name made me think...then stop opening your legs for this guy!

But why should she give the baby Chris’s last name? Whether they were getting long or not.

Not so normal viewership.  Perhaps a lot of people were not aware it was a two-episode night.  Or maybe they were aware, and couldn't take more than one episode.  Or the 9:00 PM audience was simply the people who have set their DVRs to record this series so they can FF through the commercials.

“Schools need to be open because of socialism.”  Maybe school should be open because then kids can learn that socialism and socialization are different words.

OMG just coming to say the same.  The grammar and now the socialism of it all!

”don’t let no one drink out of your water bottle.”

On Gracie’s fever, “it’s came down.”

Also I’m not trusting any of them to do a self test.  Briana can’t even use protection.  Jade let the baby do her own.

The way they wore the masks drove me crazy.  Wear a mask to drive over to someone's house then immediately take it off when you meet said person and hug them, etc.  The producer wearing a mask to give Jade the tests but she never wore one for him. The baby doing her own test.  WTF?  The entire episode was full of shit like this. Several 'might have Covid' instances but rarely saw the sick person wearing a mask to protect others in the household or anyone in the household doing the same to protect themselves. It was all so hit and miss. Corey returns from work (no mask) and immediately hugs a maskless Ali. Sure, Leah. Trust them all to protect your daughter. It's like they think that if you are related to someone, even in another home, even if they are going outside the home to work and back, the virus can't get you. Kinship is protection apparently.  No wonder the virus is spreading so fast.

I was looking away when the client said the part about schools and socialism and I had to rewind to see if she was accusing schools of teaching socialism or something. But no, she just meant socialization. And of course Jade repeated the misuse of the word immediately afterward.  Kids need to go to school to get socialism.  Good grief.

I wonder if Jade knew the difference but didn't want to correct her client on camera?

I think Issa will survive not seeing his brothers for another week. But it was totally ok for him to not see his sister for damn near a month because she wanted to galavant around Hawaii with Chris?

You're missing my point...Kail is listing all the things that the new baby won't have...Chris's last name, Chris as is dad on the birth certificate...etc.etc. My point is...stop banging this guy with out protection! Why does she  keep having unprotected sex with this guy if the outcome could mean another unplanned pregnancy with a guy who could care less about the baby and doesn't contribute at all to the child's welfare or even sees his the one she already has with him. I'm sorry...I just don't understand the sociopathy with this girl. All these kids with different fathers seems irresponsible to me. Sure...she has the financial means to provide for them NOW....that will change once this show is over and no one is looking to slap her name on some shampoo or give her an advance to write another book that no one will buy. She should be thinking of getting a tubal ligation and stop breeding. Then she won't have to go through all this shit all over again.

Jade really uses the sledge hammer approach when she's talking to Sean about his "future"...good lord...this guy is so immature emotionally that he really is incapable of taking any kind of contructive criticism or advice without exploding, stomping off and slamming doors. He's incredibly lazy and unmotivated. I understand why Jade is frustrated with him. Yeah...he watches Kloie but he's clearly getting burnt out on being a babysitter. He seems irritable with Kloie now and short tempered when she does something that most toddlers do. In his "off" time he's playing video games or sleeping...he's seems to be stuck at a 15 year old level. Jade acts more like a mother with him than a girlfriend. She's taken on that role with everyone in her life...she has to be a mother to her own mother! And now to this guy. I was shocked that he didn't even have his high school diploma...wow. I got news for Jade...none of this will change until she kicks everyone out and makes them be grown ups and assume responsibility for themselves and their behavior. Sean will stay a petulant teenager as long as she allows him to stay there rent free. She will have to find quality child care instead of leaving Kloie with wasted relatives and a baby daddy that is resentful and belligerent.

Though in the end we found out she did give him the Lopez name. 😆 She can not make up her mind. He was also there for the birth. 😆

Kail is ridiculous with her pronouncements about Chris. Literally every other week, it's like, "Chris is totally not going to be involved with our children and he's not part of our lives," then he's with her/the kids a day or two later. OBVIOUSLY, she's super open to him being involved whenever/however he chooses, but she also seems to be invested in pretending that she doesn't care whether he's involved or not. OK, SUPER BORING, LET'S MOVE ON. Really, is anyone breathlessly checking their IG to find out whether Kail and Chris are "cool" or not? Does anyone care? Why can't she keep their daily/hourly fluctuations to herself????

It's seems to be a pattern of behavior with her. She certainly goes through friendships...who is this new woman that she drags around with her all day? The Chris thing is just sad. I think she thinks that is she keeps having kids with him he'll marry her. Babies don't seem to matter too much to him. Interesting that she tolerates his dead beat Dad stuff and doesn't pursue legal action with him to pay up for his kids but if Javi or Jo were to skip out on money or shared custody/visitation she would be hauling their asses into court every month. He has some kind of hold on her emotionally...I guess she likes being emotionally abused and used. I don't know how else to explain it.

Yes! The whole COVID testing scene was crazy and so disturbing! They did the tests themselves, presumably without masks or gloves on which could make the samples contaminated. And to top it off, the baby was running around the house with the COVID testing stick in her hand...MTV should be shutting down taping based on this footage.

Then she could have just said, "Yeah."

I'm not sure it was on this episode, but I'll ask here:  Brianna was saying she'd been called back work at the "real estate" place (I think it's timeshares??), but also said she was working two jobs because she owns a "beauty _______" and has to be there.  It wasn't beauty salon, but some other word that for the life of me I can't remember.  Anybody know what's she's talking about, or even what she said?

Link to comment

In a previous season, not sure if it was last season or the one before, Brianna was getting certified to do eyebrow waxing and possibly other treatments.  She mentioned that she had plans to open up a small beauty spa for such treatments.  They only showed it once and never revisited.

Apparently Brianna did follow through and open said shop but for whatever reason MTV has chosen not to include it in her story.  The only mention was this episode.  I'm not sure if Brianna is just the owner, meaning she opens and closes, works managerial shifts there or if she actually sees clients and performs treatments.

In last night's episode, she called it a "beauty bar."  I'd never heard that term, which is probably why I couldn't remember what she'd called it.
