Tayshia tells Noah he needs to shave and Brendan that he rambles.   She’s right on both accounts but kind of rude. Her “relationship” with each of them isn’t deep enough to criticize them and try to change them, lol.

I have so many questions and comments

—“Chasen” is a fake, made up name

—is “smokeshow” a compliment or an insult?
—please don’t get rid of the mustache—he’s the only one I can tell apart from the others

—is that a regulation body oil paintbrush?
—in the lighting at the La Quinta, Tayshia’s teeth look like Ross from friends when he bleached his teeth

Well, with Brendan, I thought it was more of a cute "Shut up and kiss me!" flirtiness.

She has a physical type. Stubble is okay but pornstaches are a no. Noah would looks more like her beau ideal if he shaved it off. She's so obvious.

I wanted to see Bennet get his bougee butt out there and throw down instead of making snide remarks from the peanut gallery. I’m glad Ed didn’t do it. Double shoulder injuries are no joke and it was such a vicious set-up.
I’m no sure how Mustache butted in when Chris asked if anyone wanted to take Ed’s place. No one else did. That mustache is just tragic. Oh wait, he’s going to shave it! I could have lived without the Colton “fence jumping” move though.
I hated the oiling up scene, it’s definitely not my fantasy. Yuck. The wrestling was just uncomfortable for me and I watch MMA. Chasen really overdid it and he seems way too aggressive.
I’m really like Jordan and Ben too.
Guess it’s good she gave Noah the rose after all that. I feel bad for Ben. It’s not that Ben isn’t crazy about Tayshia, he just has manners.

That should have been the credits scene instead of the stupid stuffed horse riding with Tayisha laughing non stop. That girl could get on my nerves if I had to be around that for any length of time.

Keeping Chasen and Ed seems very producer mandated to me.

So many of the guys seem to get along so well, I kind of expect to find out that some of them have started dating each other.

Hence the mandated!

I like Chasen and I like Noah...ok maybe I don’t like Chasen but I like him much more than Ed. Ed is typical guy who has no chemistry with the lead and so stirs up trouble. Hopefully he’s gone next round.

I love tayshia and like a lot of these men now that I’ve gotten to know them: Brenden, Ben, Ivan, Demar, Joe, Zac, and little Noah. Jordan is cute. Best group in awhile and best bachelorette in awhile.

I thought Tay was rude a lot this ep. She seems to LOVE when dudes fight over her and tried to incite things. The ignoring of Bennett's 2 min request and the refusing of Ben bc it's " too late", the manipulation of Ivan to shave and favoring him on a date he wasnt originally on. She is not as emotionally mature as she pretends.

The more popular spelling is "boujee". It's slang shorthand for bougeois, someone who is a conspicuous consumer, especially into luxury designer things.

I always see it spelled like bougie.  It’s not a complement.  It’s usually describing people with no money showing up to places where they have no business being or buying $1,000 sneakers when they earn $600 per week.

I completely agreed with her on Ben. He sat on his ass waiting to be handed the end spot, and time ran out.  Really dumb idea that made him look like he wasn't interested.  And it was Noah who she shaved.

Tayshia's dress is amazing!  She definitely knows how to wear clothes.  And I loved her necklace during the group challenge.

The one miss was that short white strapless dress. It looked cheap and she was hunched over when she was wearing it.  I’m not sure if she has bad posture if it she was trying to keep the dress from falling.

1000% agreed on Ben. He was being calculated and missed out. She had probably been talking it up all night and he hasn’t moved from his seat. Too late. Going to bed.

And Noah was the only guy to volunteer after being asked by Chris for someone to take Ed’s place. He did it with excitement. And yea she shaved his beard but I’ve seen haircuts before. He does look better. And she rightfully IMO gave him the group rose after he put in the most effort. I actually thought he was quite charming.

"bougie" is the logical spelling but "boujee" is the more popular since it's kinda self-mocking. Search "bougie haul" vs "boujee haul" on Youtube and see which term is more popular.

I disagree that she needed to pull him when she had guys actually putting in effort to speak with her. Ben has gotten plenty of her attention on other dates and she told him she was attracted to him. That’s all the chasing a lead needs to do IMO and I’m glad tayshia is not the type of lead to chase her “favorites.” She’s been consistent at rewarding effort IMO

I think it may be a bad sign that I completely forgot this was on until the second hour but at least I taped it.

Ed is a complete dolt and Chasen is a douche bro, they can both go pronto.

Ok so when Noah interrupted Jordan talking to Tayshia to have his mustache shaved Jordan actually was saying” I am a Leo and one of our characteristics is unwavering loyalty”. Like seriously? Dude you have no game! I can’t even look at him now. Lol

Yeah, I was just kidding. Sort of.

I actually watched from the very first episode ever bc Alex was a friend of a friend of a friend. I was on the former boards and was delighted that the great Shack was recapping. Anyway, let's just say that I knew from the beginning that the show was going to be a waste but I still watched. Nothing has changed much, it seems.

I can't stand Chasen. He has such a punchable face and looks like he's had lip injections. I haven't disliked a contestant this much since Chad.

And why was Ben wearing a scoop neck sweater? Terrible look on a guy.

DeMar is hot. What a smile.

Noah looked much better without the 'stache. I bet he has no trouble picking up girls. I mean he's an idiot, but there's something about him.

The fighting was ridiculous. No woman wants to see that. Know your audience, show.

Tayshia is gorgeous, kinda Kim K. lite. I loved her green dress at the beginning of the show. She's vivacious and you need to be, to be a good 'Ette. I think she'll go with Brendan. We'll see.

WHY is my sweet, funny and handsome Dr. Joe being sidelined????

I do not like Noah at all, but Chris did invite the guys behind the fence to wrestle in Ed's place, so Noah didn't really intrude onto the group date. Tayshia invited him to stay.

That mustache-shaving was certainly pre-planned. When I first met my husband, he had an ugly mustache (although to be fair that was in pornstache 1977). He would have had a heart attack if I insisted he shave it. He did eventually after we were married, but wasn't comfortable without it. It was part of his identity to him, and if I had told him I disliked it on our first date, there wouldn't have been a second date. I think this was all staged.

Chasen is very good-looking in a Ken doll way, but this "Wolverine" stuff shows he's infantile. I have an 8-year old grandson who would find it funny to have an alter-ego like that. I think Ed is right about Chasen, but he has taken up the role of the tattletale and that never ends well.

I've been rooting for Ivan as well as Joe. Their professions and personalities  impress me. However, I could NOT STAND IT if someone blindfolded me and urged me to eat. It's so creepy and weird to me, not sexy or romantic.

ETA: so were Wells and the wrestler girls tested and quarantined before coming on the show? Something is so bogus here with them following the safety protocols. They've had too many outsiders already in this supposed bubble.

Based on the Noah stupidity and the nasty way she spoke to Ben, I officially dislike Tayshia now. The mean girl I remember from Paradise is back.

Can we all stop crucifying Clare now?

That wrestling date was an abomination. Can we PLEASE never see another segment like that? None of that is attractive and I don’t know why the leads allow it.

I hope she ends up with Brendan. But I’m not feeling confident after the way she slobbered all over Noah tonight. Ugh.

The time to let everyone know he couldn't wrestle due to injury was when they were practicing. Since he didn't I call bullshit, he waited to see if he'd be match up with a guy he could put in a good showing with and backed out once he saw he was facing Chasen. "Very careful lifting" was also obviously bullshit. Didn't they even show him doing shrugs with heavy weights?? Like nobody with a "double" shoulder injury would attempt? Before he wrestled Chasen he would have needed his brown pants.

Guys, don't let someone who has never done it shave your face/back/etc. It's not a funny or sexy leaving a guy bleeding from your inexperienced hacking away in all directions while jabbing at your face with a bladed instrument. No matter the supposed 'guard' it possesses, just don't.

I also guess she had to kiss him post-shave, but kissing someone with a bleeding upper lip? Again, NOT sexy.

Most of the group dates this season have been humiliating. "Love languages," strip dodgeball, oil wrestling, and even for the "splash ball" date the men had to wear tiny speedos for no good reason. Both the men and the audience deserve better than that.

I watched this with a migraine and half asleep and missed the first eight minutes but this is what I got from it:

One: Chasen's stock has really taken a nosedive since his name buddy Jason left. It's like he's lost without him. Let this be a lesson to never separate the rhyming name buddies.

Two: Where is the GoFundMe for Chapstick/herpes medication for Tayshia and the boys grown-ass men? That was a lot of kissing. Like, one dude barely said hello and they were already tongue dancing. Not judging but... yeah, judging a little.

Three: Bennett can bring me beignets in bed any day. Not mornings because I hate mornings and I especially hate sweet things in the morning but I will totes climb into bed at any time from 2 pm to 10 pm for some Bennett beignet.

Four: I gather that the couple hosting the Grown-Ass Man Games were former Bachelor/ette people but it's not cute to spray your snot around and then screech that "I WAS TESTED!" Did the swab kill the last three brain cells floating around up there while testing her and that's why she forgot to COVER. HER. MOUTH. WHEN. EXPELLING. A FINE. MIST. OF. MUCUS. Ew.

Five: Grown-Ass Men is the new show(ed) up.

Too sure of himself too early and it blew up on him.

Just before Ed decided to go wrong reasons on Chasen, Chasen sat down with Tayshia and before his rear hit the chair said, "I'm all about family," and it sounded so random and planned.  So I thought Ed was right about the phoniness, but by the time the show ended I was thinking Chasen was just dumb and Ed was the worst.  How does a guy ever think he's going to attract a woman by whining to her that, "That other guy yelled at me and made me scared!"

I like Tayshia for liking Brendon.  He's so natural and unassuming.  I also like Ivan a bunch and told Tay she had my permission to marry him, he checks all the boxes.

Tayshia's boobs are making me jealous, I wish they'd stop.

I found the whole order fo this episode confusing.  I wish they would go back to just having the rise ceremony at the end of every episode.  Some guys we didn’t see barely  at all and some guys seem to have 2 dates in a row (with a rose ceremony in the middle).   And there was no one in one date at all.  Clearly they are struggling with coming up with dates within the confines of the resort.  I don’t understand why they say it’s so hot but then no in was ever in the pool besides the pool party date.  The resort comes across as rather tired looking, I’m surprised they couldn’t find a nicer resort to host them.

I think they guys this season are awesome.  For one thing, almost all of them have ACTUAL jobs.  Not “account executive” or “marketing specialist” but actual real jobs many that you need a degree for, such as Ivan, Bennett, Noah, and Joe  and that they will probably return to after the show.  I also like that the guys all seem to really get along and support each other (besides Ed & Chassen).

I like Brandon a lot, he just seems so down to earth.   I just hope they have more in common than both being divorced. He reminds me of grocery Joe.  I also like Zach.  He seems very chill but intense at the same time.  Joe and Eazy seem like awesome guys.  I like the boy band guy too and I would think she would be attracted to him being in entertainment as she is in the “life & style space” for her job (whatever that means).  On the fence about Ben.  She has no chemistry with Blake.  Bennett is fun to have around.  I don’t think he takes himself too seriously, otherwise the other guys would not like him as much as they seem to.  Jordan seems lame.  Ivan & Demar both seem nice but feel like we haven’t seen enough of either of them yet.

I notice that Ben often is the one to first greet Tayshia.  He puts himself in the right location.  He really wanted to wait and get the last time with her on the group date.  I assume he thought he had a better chance at the rose if he was the last with her before her decision.  But he screwed up and didn't get time with her at all.

Something about Noah's looks/expressions was giving me crazy Tom Cruise jumping on the sofa vibes, even before he jumped over the barrier (I refuse to call it a fence and give rise to Colton comparisons).  Ed had a perfect math score on the PSAT but Bennet is acting like the smartest guy in the room, until he's actually forced to display some quick thinking. That's when I start thinking that Bennet is a legacy admit from a family that writes big fat checks for Harvard every year.

I like Ben, but I'm pretty sure the producers were telling him that he's made a big impression on Tayisha already and he should let the others who were more on the fence talk to her first before the rose ceremony. They probably said the evening will go until 11 so you have plenty of time and then Tayisha sits down at 9:30 and says "But the evening is over, Ben!"  He won't make that mistake again.

I'll give this to Tayshia. Once she saw how brutal it was getting, she did seem to be a little uncomfortable with it. At one point I heard her say quietly something along the lines of, "Someone might get hurt." And she was smiling but there was a distinct look of tension in her eyes. I don't think she realized just how violent it was likely to get. I wonder if she thought it was going to be more like Arie's ladies wrestling date (which, to be clear, I didn't care for either) where it was more show than actual wrestling.

Mr. Lily and I chatter throughout most of the show (it usually takes us much longer than the two hours of airtime because we're constantly pausing and laughing/raging/shouting at whatever's happening on screen) but when Ashley sneezed, the two of us just froze and stared at the TV with open-mouthed horror. She didn't even TRY to cover her mouth or sneeze into her elbow. Jared shouted at her to cover her mouth and she still didn't do it. We couldn't believe it.

Since you are not familiar with Ashley, who has been a Bach Nation hanger on for years, your comment about her even having three brain cells is hilarious. And way too generous.

I still think Bennett was trolling the room during that stupid "quiz" segment. Being asked to add and subtract simple numbers and spell a word is beyond menial. And Bennett played the room, either on  his own or through PA manipulation, to get max air time out of it. So, it was a win-win for him. And another win when his breakfast in bed beat out everyone's. He wouldn't need the food tray (or the robe) to bring me breakfast in bed.

IMO, Bennett is having a blast. And so am I, watching him.

I still like Ben. But it's in the script that T rags on him for not being more "aggressive." The dude is being played by TPTB to make him look like a dolt. I also have no problem with what he was wearing. I mean, everyone raved about Eazy's salmon suit yet Ben can't wear a scoop neck black t?

I give him props for not playing along with TPTB's script. Of course Chasen and Ed would both get roses in the RC because that's how the script was written. The script also was written that those two -- out of a dozen men -- would be pitted against each other in the stupid greased-wrestling show. Yeay to Ed for not playing into TPTB's DRAH-MAH.

One thing I like about Tayshia is when she wants to kiss someone, she goes in for it without hesitation. She's not self-conscious about it. I think she's the first Bachelorette who does that.

It's so obvious her favorite is Brendan because she beams whenever she is around him. She was also shown interacting or staying close to him during the group date. I don't blame her because I find him charming too. He's kind of cheeky. She also tends to like the "big kid" type of guys. That's why while she seems to have a crush on Ben because he's hunky, I don't see them really connecting, unless he shows a funnier or dorkier side of him to her. Ivan and Zach are more like her dependable younger and older brothers. She connects with both of them but I don't see romantic chemistry with these two guys for now. Time will tell, though. I knew she would like Noah because he also seems like a big kid. I don't mind Noah. Technically he didn't crash anything because there was an invitation to participate in the wrestling challenge and he was invited by Tayshia to join the after party. So the rest of the guys can stop whining about it.

Oh, without a doubt. You knew from the moment he sat down and said he's a Harvard man, much smarter than the others, that he would be made to look like a dope. This was simple grade-school arithmetic and a very common word to spell. I'm sure the producers thought this would be a hilarious, knee-slapping moment, and designed to make it seem baffling that Tayshia would choose him. It's just a storyline, and Bennett's shtick. I also enjoy it. Mr. Cosmopolitan, done ironically.
