While yes that is terrible advice, if Mac has a meltdown anyone dares to not agree with her, I'd just say whatever and agree with whatever she says too just so I could get away and not deal with her BUT WHAT ABOUT ME?!?

Exactly!  What choice does Moira have?

I think it's so funny that this show completely ignores Laurel.

Also, Kierstan called her "Lauren" last night and Carringon and the snarky commentator didn't even say anything about it or correct her.  L O L

I keep waiting for the snarky commentator to make a “Laurel / Yanny” joke.

I'll admit, I literally blocked out more than half of that comp with my hands in front of my face... I was almost gagging just watching it.

You can always count on Moira to give the worst possible advice. You and Connor back together would be "cute"?? Ugh, this is why she hasn't felt/found love, the girl lives in her own little romcom bubble.

And Mack is the Queen of the Walkaway... be it literal or her 'exiting' conversations that she doesn't like the direction they are heading. I do believe her 'Love Language' is 'Whatever.' Then she pauses and waits for someone to comfort her/apologize. Like when she was in the makeup room and all the 'girls' had to come hug her.

Can anyone tell me the horrible and terribly hurtful things (called the truth?) Jalen said to her? I must have missed that part and/or it's all in Mack's head.

Everything she says or does is to get a reaction/some sympathy/attention/to fill her love tank. Sleeping outside is stunningly passive aggressive. It's taking PA to the level of it becoming an art form actually.

Were I to know Cely I would totally be one of those people that tells her she needs to take it down about... 5 or six notches. Especially first thing in the morning... I never know if people are cringing from the lights coming on or awaiting Cely's 'Wake up little campers!' speech for today.

I wish Justine had finished telling Mack how it is in that dressing room scene. She started but then everyone just agreed with Big Mack.

I didn't see what Jalen said as this terribly cruel thing. I also think he had said that in the CA episodes albeit not so bluntly. Good for him for having a backbone. Connor needs to borrow it. I'd like to see him and Sher interact.

Kierstan was acting like Jalen murdered baby kittens.

Jalen didn’t say anything too bad. It was a little direct and harder than some people would have been, but Mackenzie’s also one who doesn’t listen to what people say so I feel like she needed it.

But as you said, she clearly just wanted sympathy from the girls and so just kept digging in and exaggerating what Jalen did/said. But even they are tired of her schtick and start calling her on her bs. That’s when she went nuclear and started crying. When all else fails, cry. Because if you cry then clearly you did nothing wrong. And even then the girls only begrudgingly walked over and hugged her.

At this point I’m just going to mute my TV when she’s on. It’s pointless now. And if Connor gets back with her then just shove them in a corner somewhere, but please don’t waste TV time on them.

So after repeatedly telling everyone that Connor is to blame for all of the problems in the relationship Mackenzie now wants to go back to him? How do Mackenzie’s supporters wrap their heads around that? Part of me wants to look on her Instagram to read what they’re saying, but honestly they’re scarier and more deluded than she is.

Connor reminds me of the Winston Churchill quote about being "decided only to be undecided, resolved to be irresolute, adamant for drift, solid for fluidity, all powerful for impotency."

The dressing room scene was weird. At first Kierstan and Justine are telling her that she shouldn't hold it over Jalen's head that she brought him into the villa (a fairly uncontroversial thing as far as I can see) and she seems to take it well. Then a cut to the guys talking. then a cut back to the dressing room where Mackenzie has apparently decided to have a meltdown over the other girls taking Jalen's side. Huh? I reran the scene to see if there was something I missed. If the editors didn't leave some comments on the cutting room floor, it's totally bizarre even for Mackenzie. But she got what she wanted, I guess.

She's just exhausting. You're always walking on eggshells around her.

Nope. You nailed it entirely. She tried to garner sympathy by talking poorly about Jalen and when that didn’t work she started crying. And that forced the girls to sympathize with her. Nothing convoluted or missed on your part. Purely manipulative.

SERIOUSLY. I think these girls are either too dumb to see what gaping pit of need Mackenzie is, or, like another poster pointed out they're walking on eggshells around her. People like Mackenzie are energy vampires, and dealing with them is almost not worth it. If I'd been in that dressing room I'd have laughed in Mack's face and then dropped some truth on her.

I'm with everyone else. WHAT MEAN THINGS did Jalen say? I know the truth hurts but I didn't know that it hurled insults.

Kierstan knows full well that Mackenzie is a big Botox filled baby that lives in an alternate reality where she's misunderstood (LOL), so I can't understand why she was so OFFENDED about whatever made-up nonsense Jalen said to Mack, either.

I can't stand these food challenges. I would throw up Exorcist style before anyone even got near my mouth. Can you imagine getting Covid from secondhand chili? BARF.

I like Jalen. I'd say that he has a good head on his shoulders but he coupled up with Mackenzie with his eyes wide open, so he makes poor decisions.

Don't piss in my Lucky Charms, show. The last thing America wants is the Irish Law Firm back together. We've already suffered enough this year.

Between the Pepto shorts suit and the sheer, stringy black fabric that looks like it was stolen from one of Mercades porn sets, a crime against fashion has been committed by Caleb and Justine.

If that date is the most romantic thing you've ever seen, Justine. You need to date more.

I get that she was hurt, those are her feelings, she’s allowed to have them.  But Jalen was not saying mean things. He was being honest about his experience. Just because it upset you doesn’t make it mean. They are two different things. What was it she said to James: Take responsibility for your actions.

And we all saw it too. She seemed cool for 3 days, then back to how she was. I also don’t see that he wasn’t listening to her. Oh right, She thinks listening means agreeing. Like, Never mind. Whatever.

Caleb. That pink and red matchy bandana print outfit should be wrong, like your auntie made it from the discount bin at Joann’s after Halloween, but somehow you made it work. S l o w c l a p

Did anyone else catch Kierstan's expression when she joined the group hug of Mackenzie? It was all "I guess I have to pretend to care. Did my .05 second hug, now go away".

Loved loved loved that the men were all " NO. NO GOING BACK TO MACKENZIE " to Connor.

Mackenzie must have been the Queen Bee of her group because she's gobsmacked whenever someone says or does something that doesn't revolve around her.

I refused to even look at that challenge.

Even though I have never been a big Mackenzie fan, I am a bit torn on her current situation.  Maybe I missed some key parts, but Jalen did change his behavior a lot once he made his way in.  I liked how he and Mac got along when they were getting to know each other, and he seemed to kind of ditch her once he got in (even if a bit indirectly).  And then to blame it on that he saw how she was on TV--I mean, I buy that, but I buy it more had he not pursued her in the first place.

And then Mac and the girls in the dressing room--to be fair, they have all been supportive of each other even when any one of them might have done things that do not warrant a lot of sympathy.  So I can understand why she was a little troubled to see everyone kind of ignore her concerns.  I am really not trying to stand up for her--but it does feel kind of crappy to feel like you have people you can talk to, and then all of the sudden they all are acting that way--making you feel worse than you already did.

I know Mackenzie isn't innocent in all of this, but I also don't think Jalen is really acting all that great at this point either.

Except Mackenzie has clearly worn out the other women. She needs constant validation and is a champion at deflecting blame. That's very tiring.  Everyone except Connor sees this.

Someone on this show must have a regurgitation fetish.   This is not the first time we've seen a disgusting food challenge here.  I now see a valid reason for entering the villa alone.  Kierstan and Connor must be counting their lucky stars.

Yeah. And Mackenzie wasn’t looking for support in that situation. She was making a case for people to choose her over Jalen and misrepresenting the facts to garner sympathy. Blind loyalty and support isn’t being a good friend. Sometimes you need to be called out on your bs for your own good. And they weren’t even really calling her out. They thought she wanted to make things work with Jalen and were trying to offer her advice on what she could do. But she doesn’t want to do anything except make demands and have everyone kiss her feet.

It’s a risky move, and I’m sure it will backfire the first few times it’s used, but like everything else on reality TV I could see it become normalized the more people do it. I’d love to see two people arguing rationally and then when one person begins crying to curry favor and cheat out of the argument, the other one not fall for it and call the person out. “I don’t buy your tears. We’re both grown adults having a legitimate discussion. If you’re ready to handle this like a mature adult then we can keep having this discussion but I’m not going to be manipulated by your crocodile tears.” Ok, so the last bit is a little harsh.

Justine was so close when she said Mackenzie is too needy and then laughed it off. Someone needs to be direct with Mackenzie. I don't think Jalen was cruel but I imagine a guy I was into telling me he would run from an earlier version of me wouldn't have felt great.

If Connor goes back to her he deserves whatever he gets.

Moira was the one to say something when Mackenzie wanted to claim the Hideaway for her and Conner.  Mackenzie gave Moira a dirty look and now Moira just agrees with everything Mackenzie says.

I really do wonder if Caleb is as into Justine as he says.  Is he pretending to her and the audience to win the game? I still remember his reaction after he saved her over Rachel.  Justine must never have romantic dates if she thought that was the most romantic date.  It was in the hot bright sun on a roof in Vegas.  It just seemed like brunch to me.  Nothing really romantic.

Mackenzie needs an intervention. We’ve seen people be direct with her and she just runs away until she finds someone who will tell her what she wants to hear. And when nobody will do that she starts crying. I agree people need to be direct with her but she has to actually sit there, listen, take her medicine, be humble, and take steps to change.

Connor deserves what he gets, but I also think the guy has no idea what a healthy relationship is supposed to be. I get the feeling both of them have this idea in their heads that this is just the start of some amazing love story. That America is rooting for them to figure it out and get together. I guess Mack’s instagram followers want that but everyone else is just exhausted.

I didn't like how Mackenzie used tears to get out of hearing criticism once again. This time with the girls. That's her go-to move whenever she hears something unfavorable towards her. How does one grow out of this? They do, right? Right?? Eventually...?

Still, I don't like Jalen. It's not because he wants to get to know other girls or Kierstan but his condescending tone when he was talking to Mackenzie. Like suddenly he is too good for her, when he was kissing her ass just a day before because he wants to stay in the villa. He's just not a nice person. Aaron also told Moira he wants to explore other options but he wasn't a dick about it.

Anyone else notice at the end of the disgusting food challenge (when I stopped pressing "Fast Forward") Jalen ran to pick up Kierstan into his arms to carry her back to wherever their normal "homes" are?  Kinda rude to Mackenzie, honestly.  He doesn't have to rub it in her face.

Jalen is social climbing in this show.  He knew how Mack was, coupled up with her, and now that he's among all the hot girls he decides to dump her, and SUDDENLY, her past explains why he needs to dump her (WHICH HE KNEW ABOUT THE WHOLE TIME).  It's so obvious.

TBH, I couldn’t care less if they are faking. They all want to get into the industry, so if they are decent enough actors to fool most of the public, good for them.

Besides, who else is left to vote for? Johnny and Cely are tainted now and no other couple has a shot at this point.

Moira and Connor are basically the same person. They both go along with whatever the last person who spoke to them wants. When Aaron asked Moira what she thought about their relationship, she had the dumbest look on her face replaced with huge relief when he said he'd go first. I get the feeling that if he'd said he loved her and wanted to marry her she would have been ecstatic and run back to the dressing room squeeing about her new fiance to the others.

Maybe this is why Connor keeps wanting to go back to Mackenzie. She tells him what to do ("adore and obey me at all times") and that makes it easy for him even though deep down he has to hate her. His conversation with the guys was hilarious.

Johnny: Tell me you are 100% not going back to her.
Connor: Well ... it's like ... ninety-ni...
Everyone: NOOOOOO!
Connor: It's just numbers guys, they don't mean anything.
Caleb: YOU'RE AN ACCOUNTANT!

I don't see much chemistry between Justine and Caleb, but they don't seem to be faking it either, so I don't know with those two. I cringed when he asked her if she'd thought about the fact that they live across the country from each other and she said she'd moved for guys before so she didn't have a problem moving for him. This is what I mean about how desperate she seems. A normal person would have said something like, "well, we'll see how things go long-distance and if it gets serious, we can talk about where it makes the most sense to live." Not, "I will give up my entire life for you, a person I've known for 8 days."

Calvin's reaction to Sher turning her head when he tried to kiss her is why I've grown to like him so much. He did the embarrassed confessional, but was laughing at himself. "I got the SWERVE!"

I don't know if I believe Jalen was premeditated and malicious in using Mac to get in the Villa or if it played out the way he said it did. Or if it's somewhere in between. I couldn't sleep last night and went on Reddit again and there are a lot of people that strongly believe he used her to get in the Villa. As his social climbing plan.

At the end of the day, this is a game show with the goal of getting as far as you can, making the money. That's baked in. So it's hard to separate  wanting to stay from how to stay. It isn't Survivor, and they sugar coat it with the love part but it's a competitive show.

Maybe it was in the back of his mind but I just don't get the sense that it was some strategic plot. Not everyone is like Jeremiah exiting with TV dignity, or on the other end camera-whoring like Mercedes. We saw him jump from Moira to Kiersten and then to Mac. But he also sort of has that Tigger energy. He has bleached Justin Timberlake "ramen" hair, based on the bleaching decision alone I don't think he's a strategic mastermind.

I think he likes her but not her manipulations and moodiness, which for whatever reason seemed to be suppressed for a few days and now they're back. So instead of doubling down on them in like Connor did, he's spreading out.

Is the reason Mac is upset because she thinks she was played? Or is it that she's worried about what America thinks of her? Maybe it's true that Jalen played her, but only Jalen knows and he seems to be straightforward (albeit blunt) with her.

Maybe Jalen used Mack to get into the villa, but it’s also evident that she DID act differently when the guys left. She mentioned it, the girls mentioned it, I think even Jalen mentioned it at the time. Then she DID go back (at least some what) to her ways after the recoupling.

Honestly, I don’t care. Mackenzie treats everyone else like they’re there to serve her needs. I’d be mean to her face, too. Connor was passive and she didn’t respond. Jalen was direct and she didn’t respond. Rachel was supportive and clear and she didn’t respond. Moira tells her what she wants to hear and she becomes more deluded. I don’t blame people for reaching their breaking point with her because once you’ve tried everything to get through to somebody and they STILL don’t get it you just can’t help yourself. It’s crazy to think they could kick James out so quickly but they’ve been stuck with Mackenzie this whole time.

I agree, I so wish people would spend money on that instead.  Instead, it's this trickle down effect where so many dumb girls and young women out there think they all need to pay to have Instagram face and body to survive in 2020.

There’s a great line from Justified. “If you get to the end of the day and you met an asshole, you met an asshole. I had to mute my TV when Johnny was blabbing on and on as I have no desire to hear what he has to say.   I think Carrington wants to blab but he just can't break bro code, especially since there seems to be some shady stuff that wasn't shown that Faith hinted about.
