That's actually not my quote - I also quoted that same line as you and it attributed it to me instead of the original poster. 

But I don't agree that Denise is a lying liar who lies. She actually admitted (in a talking head but still, Erika gets away with saying all of her badass lines in talking heads) that she said far worse about them so she's confused why Brandi would only bring up this tame shit. And it's not that she's "killing the messenger" but rather the messengers have decided that all of this needs to be hashed out at dinner tables in public areas or at semi-public events that don't involve just the cast rather than Teddi going up to Denise privately in her hotel room in Rome and saying "Hey, I've heard you said this about me. Can we talk?" You can even have the cameras there so it makes the show if it's that important (what else would they talk about this season, who glammed and who didn't?). But you don't have to do it with a full filming and production team in a public restaurant with everyone at the table enjoying their first course and all the random people around, asking if she had an affair with Absolute Truth Teller Brandi Glanville. 

I don't blame Denise at all for being upset with Kyle and Teddi and Rinna for the way they handled this. They didn't confront her. They decided she was guilty before she even knew she was on trial.

Why does Brandi Glanville keep showing up at events where she has not been invited? Who invited her to the shower and to whatever they showed in the previews? Either these women are or Bravo is paying her to show up. They all sit there with their mouths agape looking so surprised while silently salivating at more salacious details spewing from that disgusting creature's mouth.  I used to like Kyle but she has become an insufferable bitch these past 2 seasons. Kyle saying to Rinna and in her talking heads that it is not their business but then says Brandi told us so Denise has to deal with it. NO SHE DOESN'T. And Kyle, Teddy, Rinna and Erica why are you washed up hags so consumed with the details of another cast member's sex life?

Exactly what did Kyle do for Teddi's baby shower to get "co-host" status?  Keep Teddi busy to delay their arrival?  Because it looks to me like Dorit did all the work.

Of course Brandi Glanville shows up after Sutton and Garcelle leave.  Can't have anyone in Denise's corner, other than Dorit.  And thank you, Dorit, for not jumping on the "Brandi would never lie/we can't believe Denise" train.  Kyle has a very limited memory if she thinks Brandi is not a liar.  Kyle needs to see her own footage from earlier seasons.  

If I were Teddi's friends, I'd be pissed that I was basically expected to leave the shower so the shit talking could commence.  

Rinna's spawn is staying in a $5,700 per month 1 bedroom apartment?  That is absolutely insane.  And of course the brat needs help paying it.  How else is an 18 year old going to pay that rent?  How about the Hamlins tell her that if she isn't going to school, she's going to get a job?  That's pretty much what my friends and I were told -- and guess what?  It worked.  

With the exception of Denise, Garcelle and now Dorit (who would have thought), I pretty much hate all these women.

I think she gets a pass because she's kind of "lying for a good cause". It's, to me anyway, a kind of understandable lying. It's trying to avoid someone's feelings from being hurt while covering your own ass in order to avoid what will surely be more problems going forward. It's hurtful to hear that someone doesn't like you, and Denise was trying to spare Teddi's feelings. It's exhausting to have a season long Wine Glass Gate or Late Gate which would surely follow if Denise was truly honest about her feelings about Teddi. Teddi seems angry that Denise doesn't like her, and she seems to think she is entitled to confront and shame Denise for having that opinion.  Imo, Denise is a basically nice person, so she felt bad when confronted with doing something that wasn't nice. Brandi, not a castmate, betrayed her trust -- there was no reason to tell any of them anything Denise had said or done.  

Why does Teddi have problems with just about everyone? Is it because she's so honest and accountable, or because she's an entitled, demanding brat who thinks she's owed the knowledge of the contents of everyone's private thoughts and entitled to an explanation of every word anyone said about her in private?  I think it's probably a mixture of both.  Teddi's getting what she wished for now though in Denise's confessionals. Does knowing that truth make her feel better? Does it enhance her working relationship with Denise? Instead of the demands, maybe it would have been smarter to just let some time pass and see if feelings changed, as they often do.  

It's interesting that Kyle said "weaponizing friendship". This episode showed us a great example of "weaponizing the truth" -- Brandi's story may or may not be true, but not a single one of them was entitled to that truth.  They were not owed the details of something potentially embarrassing or damaging, and they for sure aren't owed that information, from Denise, to use as a way to hurt or punish Denise.

I guess the producers think they have ratings winner in nasty Brandi.  She certainly swung a lot of power in last night’s episode.  Flounces in, sits at the table, the witches lean in with hungry attention, but Brandi doesn’t know everyone... so can they leave?  Mid-mouthful Teddi’s friends must remove themselves as per Brandi’s wishes. 

Salivating, the witches lean in again, the full spotlight on Brandi ... who apparently cannot tell a lie.🙄

I thought puppygate was beyond silly, but this season takes the cake.

Agreed. I don't think that Teddy thinks everyone has to like her, I think she is someone who has pretty clear-cut ways of operating and doesn't put a lot of filters on letting you know where she stands. So for her to be all fake-y nice to someone she knows has called her pathetic and doesn't like her? Doesn't compute. I know this gets thrown around a lot, but I wonder if Teddy is on the spectrum in some way. Social subtle-ties just throw her. And I like her for it. (I'll sit over here in my corner).

The other thing that probably grates for all of them is that Denise just isn't doing her job. I think the only events she's stayed more than a few minutes at this season were the one at her home and the dinner in Italy - even that she tried to walk out on but was urged back by the production crew. I think if the production crew is telling you to go back to work, then it's pretty clear there's some frustration. At the majority of events this season she has shown up, started to beef with someone and then stormed out (to go to a strip club for dinner apparently). If I was working with her and knew that she was getting paid beucoup bucks but was only spending fifteen minutes filming while I sat there for a couple hours? Would certainly irk me. And "calling in sick" when they all know she's done this time after time this season and just wants to get out of it? Nope. 

Edited to add: Garcelle - I don't love her or hate her at this point. What I find puzzling is that she's a bomb-thrower (asking Sutton about her money and mentioning Lisa's me-me-me stuff) but then immediately backtracks, sometimes to their face like with Lisa but more often in her talking heads. She seems like she's really picking up on the nuances and speaks her truth but contradicts herself in her own talking heads. So I'm not a fan at this point, just more intrigued about how her trajectory as a reality cast person will go.

Mauricio had a massive fraud lawsuit hanging over his head during filming.  So he was a bit preoccupied when the cameras were rolling.  I believe his lawyers told him not to use the show to promote The Agency while the case was going on.  It seems Mauricio interpreted keep a low profile to mean stay at home and smoke some (legal) weed.

I don't care for the overbuilt subdivision location, but the interior of Garcelle's home is lovely. Loved the abundant kitchen cabinetry. That aside, I like her and Denise's friendship. I did want to see more interaction between Ice Queen Erika and Garcelle. I really liked their dynamic over lunch early on in the season. 

I was disappointed that Garcelle apologized to Rinna. For me Rinna is the new Tamra, the HW I disliked the most.

I was a bit shocked to actually see Erika's skin without makeup.  Her makeup artists are really good. Her foundation always looks so flawless and dewy without looking oily or greasy.

If Denise had gone to the Bucca De Beppo Baby Shower would Brandi have been at the table at any point? I think they had Brandi on stand bye in case the Denise called in sick to that party just so there would be some sort of conversation about it on camera.  

Brandi says she does not lie but her mouth gets her in trouble, she is rude and coarse and I am not entertained by her at all.  Her yelling about how she and Denise hooked up and how she sucked Denise's lady business (I am guessing that is what was bleeped) at the table was just too much.

Denise could have easily gotten this whole mess taken care of if she was honest about it, she could have said yes she did the nasty with Brandi, it was not her finest hour but it happened then she could have fessed up to Aaron who would have been cool about it according to Denise.  That would have taken the wind out of Brandi's sail.  I myself would have flung myself off the highest bridge I could find If I had slept with Brandi, ick, there are so many other women that would have been better choices but Brandi is just ick.

I doubt Brandi for multiple reasons:  1.) Brandi's a terrible human being and a liar, 2.) not a single TXT  that's been reported by Brandi herself shows anything regarding an affair, and 3.) I know we've all done things we regret, but it seems to me that Denise could - and would - REALLY do better for an affair partner.

I know we've all done things we regret, but it seems to me that Denise could - and would - REALLY do better for an affair partner.

I didn't see anything incriminating in the texts we were shown, either.  

As far as I could tell, they were the text equivalents of those ridiculous air kisses these women are so fond of.  

I thought they read like a couple of acquaintances bullshitting back and forth making plans that will likely never come to pass.  

Of course, there's always the possibility that production is saving juicier ones for the reunion.  

I dread the reunion.  I just know that dumpster fire Brandy is going on it for a good amount of time, on overdrive with her irritating squeaky/screechy voice talking over everyone.  Ugh.

I had to watch that pile on in the restaurant for second time and it just confirmed what I thought about it the first time: this seemed to me like some very badly acted horrible melodramatic soap opera. The overly dramatic gesturing and Erica's line - "I asked her point blank: is Brandi laying? and she said yes!" - that sounded like she practiced with an acting coach for her role of Roxi? Totally unnatural voice for her. The second "coincidental" occurrence of Brandy when she is needed to help with the oh so dramatic story line... "What's happening?" Ready to provide "evidence". Poor Rinna being "so uncomfortable" becouse Denise is not there while they are talking and can't defend herself. Those text messages sounded just like what I imagine people in showbiz would be like - overly familiar with each other and like the fake "love you's"  and "you look fabulous" or "Dorit designed this amaaahzing Capri room" the Housewifes talk to each other all the time. Why is the only person making any sense Garcelle and... Dorit? Those friends of Tedi had to leave the room becouse they can't learn their lines and to not witness how orchestrated by Kyle, Rinna and producers this whole shitshow was. Wonder how many takes they had to do...

Brandi was not present for the reunion filming.  The story goes, she was supposed to be there, but Denise sent a cease and desist letter to stop it, so Andy will do a separate sit-down with Brandi.  I don't know if that has even been filmed.

I certainly hope there is not a separate interview for Brandi, no one gives a damn who she fucked and she's non -essential !
