So much this.  My Grams had a saying “glutton for punishment” that fits Mikhal to a tee.  He’s a grown ass 100% free man and each time I watch I say he can get out of this if he wants to.  He is not an indentured servant yet, but he will be if he comes to America with gangela.  He is going to dearly pay for that passage to America.  And he is aware cuz Gangela is showing him exactly who she is and in front of the cameras, no less.  I didn’t see the whole segment cuz I get so enraged being a witness to her loud abuse that I FF thru.  I try to tell myself he’s not my family or my friend, so why do I care.  I guess becuz he’s a human being who for some reason won’t take himself out of the situation.  So I have to take myself out by FF thru their segments and any other segments that bring my blood pressure up. LOL.   Coming on here and seeing you guys have the same issues that I have, does my heart good.

Kind of interesting that back in the season of Baby Girl Lisa, so many opined that she was even worse than Angela.  Angela seemed to have become a charming, loving grandmother who happened to fall in love with a man in Nigeria.  It was an odd pairing, but not worse than amusing.

Suddenly, Angela has come back onto the show and proven that there are at least TWO middle-aged women in America who are disgusting in their behaviors, especially towards their proposed mate from another country.  Neither has to be judged worse.  They are both horrible.

This week’s ep had the usual drama as always...

Coltee and Jessee and Debbieee: I think Colt should tell Jess before she makes that long trip to Vegas. It's not going to end well. He is such a manipulator. He loves her but he has an ex with benefits living in his house and has spoken to many others while they were mad at each other. He seems to be a sex or romance addict. He can't be by himself or take the time to get to know someone before he's in love and willing to do a K1 for someone. After Jess he was serious about this Mexican fitness trainer who was gorgeous. Then he was back with Vanessa. What do all these women see in him? If he could not provide a green card or if he was not on TV he'd be lonely.

If I knew moving in would cause problems in my ‘friends’ relationship, then I would find somewhere else to live. Debbie, Vanessa, and Colt knew what they were doing. I think it was all planned. How else does Colt think Jess is going to take it? I think he just started to date her to be on this season, and used her to introduce Vanessa more into the show. I think they just want their own show following their lives. 

 

Larissa-ee and Ericee: To be honest, I find this storyline scripted and boring. Like they both are bad actors. They are just on the show to be famous.

Anyway, there is no way Larissa is gonna pay that money back. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Like, how could she! She doesn’t even have a job! She only  stayed with him so he could pay for her boobs.

She's so conniving and superficial. She just wants to use these guys for her own benefits, and having tons of plastic surgeries is her idea of the American. She is trying to persuade  Ericee to get money for boobs and butts and if he can't pay, she will move to another man, but she may end up in jail or deported.

And Ericee is a fool if he gives her the money to do all the stupid crap she wants done....I wonder if her dad ever watches the shows, because I would be pissed if I was raising my son or daughters’ kids and they were using my money and other people's money for plastic surgery. 😡 He will never see the money again,  I hope he’s not that stupid.

And she clearly has no intention of ever caring for her children. But she will surely want them to “understand and forgive her” in 20 years when SHE needs THEM. What a loser. She needs to go back to Brazil. 

 

Syringe and The Bossy Tania: After watching the episode, I think both of them are crazy. Syngin had a hard time before he left South Africa. I feel like he is recovering from that but also ignoring his responsibilities to himself. He is waiting for the perfect job where he can make money, drink as much as he wants and be as obnoxious as needed. Tania’s a nag. What’s she doing? Their fight was annoying. She meant to hurt him which is a very bad sign. Plus she wants him to grow up but I don’t think she’s got her s*** together.

 

Grangela and Maackle: I’m not surprised that Michael’s mother gave him and Angela blessings. She loves her son. She knows Angela is too old to have another child. She just wants Michael to be happy. She supports her son! 

It seems like no matter how weird the potential spouse is, the parents are always happy to marry off their kids so they can go to American and be rich and send money home.  Right?

And every week as always, Angela emotionally abuses Michael.

I had that feeling too when watching Before the 90 Days! Baby Girl Lisa’s disgusting habits and constant demanding things from Usman and calling him a slur made me forget all about Angela’s physical and enormous abuse and yelling at Michael all the time.

I would never argue on that point (I'm a woman); HOWEVER, I sincerely believe (hard for a person to fathom) that in some perverse way michael does find angela attractive (I'm trying not to become physically ill when writing that remark but that's what I believe.)

But the problem is that from the beginning Andale has put himself in their power by refusing to become self-supporting.  He has taken everything Chuckie has offered and asked for (or had Libby ask for) anything else he needed, or wanted.  I despise Family Libby maybe more than anyone else this season, but until Andale stops taking (and demanding via Libby) money and other things of value from them, he has no business getting all shirty with them.  I understand how hard it must be to restrain himself when they bait him that way, but they've kind of earned the right (or bought the right) to act shitty toward him because he owes them so much.  If he wants to assert himself, he needs to announce that he's not accepting their support for anything any longer, grow up, and take care of business like a grownup.  Only then can he tell them that things are none of their business.

OTOH I believe Family Libby (maybe not Mom), including Libby, are being coached to irritate Andale as much as they can, and they are gleefully complying.  I think Libby's in on it and not allowed to tell Andale; that's why she's so exhausted by it all, yet can't defend her husband as she should.

I could be totally wrong about it being an Airbnb too.   I tend to tune my attention out when Syngin is on.   I'd rather watch Dr. Now (My 600 lb Life) hack out a stomach, do skin removal, or chop off a Lymphedema than watch Syngin eat.

I must have missed that. I thought Tania took her plate of food and went into a bedroom at Syngin's parents' when she left the braai. Or was the braai also at the B&B? I can stand comforters or duvets.    Since the heat of menopause, I don't like warm covers, and use quilts summer and winter.    Then I just leave the heat at 71 24/7 in winter, so I don't need much in the way of covers, and the quilt works if I get chilly. In the summer I just fold the quilt at the bottom of the bed, and it's mostly there for decoration.   

I think a lot of short term rental  owners use the white slipcovers or duvet covers, and sheets, because they can bleach them when they get dirty.  Then probably have a spare set of everything to put on the bed and furniture, so everything can look good for the next guest.   Of course, after Tania and Family Syngin finish with a place, nuking it from a long distance might be the only way to clean it up.

They don’t have to be innocent for Andre to be wrong.
