Im glad someone posted this because when I saw it yesterday it looked really odd. And I thought at first maybe it was her way of hyping up the crowd, but then when I went back to watch again after Dreamcatcher's post, yeah it looked like Savanah was going to join in, and it doesn't look like any sideline dance that I remember but it was just weird. The fact that it was posted, shade hehe.

It most definitely looked odd.  Like WTF odd.

This is not a Miranda Lambert look-alike.

As long as I live I will never understand how she made the team.  Yeah, she can dance but she. just. isn't. pretty.  She looks like she's in pain in this smile.  More like a grimace.

I spotted this online...This year's Star Magazine swimsuit issue featuring Ashlee on the cover!

There were better photos of Ashlee from that photo shoot but I'm glad she got a cover.  She still looks lovely.

I didn’t want to be first to comment on this... that was hilarious. poor Caroline turned around and looked at her and then stepped back but VK didn’t even notice.

Haha. Ozarks Caroline may have joined in, but sober Carolina realized how ridiculous Victoria looked. 😂

From now on I will only say: Bless her heart.

It must be said: she is not unlikable. And she is starting to fascinate me:

  1. What will her interaction with Victoria be like?
  2. Will she talk with Rachel Wyatt about her pageant success?
  3. What will her panel interviews be like?  Boring with pageant answers or all over the place?
  4. Will she faint when she finally gets some facetime with Kelli?
  5. Will she get 'inside her head'?
  6. How will Kitty Carter kick her behind?

I can't wait to find out!

P.S. Marissa looks like Miranda Lambert as much as a Pauly Shore looks like Albert Einstein

I don't like her because she constantly promotes a toxic MLM product on her Instagram. Monat is diiiisgusting. Promote something healthy without lawsuits, Alora.

Bless Marissa's dumb heart for buying it, too.

I agree. Seems to have been a bit of the premature misjudgment on a few of the ladies.  I know forum folks hate hearing it, but there are some really talented and likable TCCs this year.  It’s making sense and I can see why 4 vets were cut.

Interesting deets from the NYT article @dccfangirl posted on Cowboys home games this year. All Jerry Jones wants is his money. The 'Boys are dead last in their division with only 3 wins and not one team has lost more games than they have. Per the NYT:

Jones’s “aggressive approach” runs counter not just to what other N.F.L. teams have done in recent weeks, but to what medical experts say is prudent public health. The number of cases in the county has jumped more than fivefold since the start of the regular season in early September, when there was an average of 1,500 confirmed infections a day. The number of people hospitalized with the coronavirus has more than tripled over that period.

And last week, health officials in Tarrant County said that eight residents who tested positive for the virus told contact tracers that they had recently attended Cowboys home games. It is unclear whether they were infected before, during or after the games. The actual number may be higher because of how difficult it is for contact tracers to determine the source of an infection where the virus is spreading rapidly. . . .

Dr. Sonja Bartolome, a critical care doctor and an infectious disease specialist at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, called attending games in large stadiums a medium risk relative to the parties, weddings and funerals in indoor venues to which she has traced positive cases. “We’re lucky the stadium is huge because it allows them to put people at a safer distance and there’s a lot of air circulation,” she said.

Still, with another 17,000 projected deaths among Texans between now and March 1, other experts were more skeptical.

Given some of these numbers, it's good that the DCC are wearing their masks the entire games, even if it is more for optics than consistent protection. Even if it is more for optics, I think that it's important they are modeling proper mask wearing for others watching (on TV, that is, since apparently, someone has been drawing masks on many of the people sitting in end zones in pictures at games). And with those many people at the games, with some of the maskless spectators sitting pretty close to the touchdown decks, I'm glad they're protecting themselves and others.

The cheerleaders do big, varied movements like this all the time. There’s a video of Gina as game day girl last season doing the exact same thing. https://www.instagram.com/p/B_V5u6ADA8_/?igshid=15mhs5qpbo8kf

The Jets sure do wish that last bit were true. That said, the NFC east is such a train wreck that the Cowboys still have a chance to make the playoffs. It’s comical. Washington has four wins and the rest have three.  All four teams are SO BAD.

None of this takes away your main point, though, and it’s no surprise that Jones is so careless. He’s been lucky that there hasn’t been Ravens level issues.

Oh, wow--I must have been looking at only the NFC records. That is dreadful that the Jets have 10 losses and the Jags have 9! The Jets could become one of few NFL teams to lose every game in a regular season. Yikes. I looked it up, and the Cowboys were the first NFL team to lose every game in a season (1960). Guess Dallas should be grateful that other teams are even worse this year.

Seems like the shoddy NFL records and some of the critiques about game day DCC performances this season point to these being less than optimal conditions for top-notch execution of plays or dances. I get it. 2020 is a sh*t show. I keep thinking how hard it must be, not just for rookies, to call the dances and follow the leader on the touchdown decks. How does that work, exactly? You can't have the 2 leaders call a different tag on the same deck, like they might when on the sidelines in the four corners. Does one GL on each deck call all the tags and shots during each half of game day or something like that? I really hope they address that on the show. I like that we've gotten a couple of seasons of seeing "follow the leader" during training camp, but I also want to see how that works on game days.

I'm annoyed that Jalyn is so far back on the squad photo this year, her third year!  You can totally tell Kelli and Judy aren't happy with her for whatever reason.  She is a much better performer that Taylor J, Madeline M, and Kat.

I don’t know if it’s because I’m looking at it on my phone but a lot of their heads almost look like they were photoshopped on the bodies, like they shorten all their necks😂  Maybe because they were all photoshopped in, the shadow around their faces are off

Tess looks like a paper doll that someone messed up cutting the arms out, and cut too much.  Her arms look like sticks, with a deflated sleeves.  And what’s the deal with some of the DCC jacking the girls up to Jesus to where they it looks painful and or will spill out the top of the uniform.  Some look so tight, that deep breaths aren’t possible.  The other girls look natural, though flat in this photo!

Haha my eyes go straight to Rachel W’s hilariously long arms with the sleeve-blending and Kat and Victoria’s leg pops, which I actually like. Pop those legs, girls! Gotta take advantage of an outside spot! 😂

I agree with the poster a few pages back who can’t get over the intermittent mask wearing this season in the “bubble”. It’s especially odd after seeing this season of Great British Bake Off, where they actually had a TRUE bubble, tested everyone and quarantined until they got negative results, and then were able to film as usual, no masks, everyone could be up close and personal like normal, because it was a true bubble situation with the full cast and crew, (and it was quite a few people!) no one in or out. It’s just SO weird to hear them talk about the bubble and all these precautions but still show them wearing masks intermittently, I can’t get over it! Obviously we’ll never know the full covid plan but it’s pretty obvious that there were legit concerns to be had. Just so weird.

Bake Off is my fave and I’m so thankful they all bubbled to make the show happen this year! They basically took over a country hotel and nobody was allowed in or out! It shows it can be done as they had zero problems.

NFC South also has a team who is hugging the bottom for foolish reasons - like watching a live ball roll across the field after an onside kick....hint: note my postername.. Hence a new TCC , who also was the pro-bowl rep, has my full support being elsewhere this season...

The Jets just need to find their peace and comfort in their 1st round pick - which most likely will be Tyler Florence from Clemson

Dallas just need to find their peace and comfort in that Dak will continue to heal back to his playing condition for 2021. If they make the playoffs (I think there is an extra wild card game slot this year - source ), that will be a bonus. No need to be calling the jeweler getting fingers measured for a ring, though.

Switching over to the AFC - 🙏 go  out to Denver. All four QBs will miss game vs. Saints due to COVID protocol. Last I heard , Denver does not want to forfeit the game, and I guess it can't be rescheduled/postponed. Stay tuned - kickoff is not until 4 pm EST

This picture is much better. I can see the back rows better and I see that my favorite TCC, Dani McGinnis (#TeamDani) has gotten noticed and she is now more in front than any other rookie. I really hope she can fulfill her potential in the future. I can say the same about Armani Latimer, Darian Lassiter, Elli DiGiovanni, Jada McLean, Claire Wolford and yes McKenzie Sherman, who are all Gina Ligi level dancers who can be point. Compared to the points we had last year, they align much better with the great points of the past, dance but also look wise.

We have a very strong rookie class, and it is not strange to see the weaker vets being cut. Weaker, because they are lesser dancers or because they are less attractive. If I had been in Kelli's shoes I would not have compromised on the dancing or the look I really wanted, with a bigger emphasis on the looks. Instead, Kelli made irrational decisions and put girls on the team she never really was happy about, creating a B-team, a second rate DCC, who could be cut whenever the opportunity rose. This is not how to you treat people, or how you would want to be treated. Not in Dallas or in East Texas.

Bless her heart Marissa got a raw deal with her hair. Her curls made her look more in proportion. I think that out of all the TCC's Marissa was the most polished (and Alora Rose the least) and this was for a reason. Marissa needs to be polished. Other girls, like Alora Rosa are beauties without any polish. Changing a hair setup that has been worked on for so long is just not best practice. It will not keep Marissa down though. She is invincible!

This season may turn out to be my favorite after Season 2 (Meredith Oden's rookie year) , and Season 4 (Jackie Bob's rookie year).

A few observations:

1) LOVE that the girls knew routines coming in!!

2) How Armani was NOT top 36 before night 1 is BAFFLING!!

3) Any girl cut in the past because of a thicker butt area should be pissed, because Claire W is VERY thick in the butt and thigh areas!!

4) I have HUGE girl crushes on Armani, Jada, Jessica, Mckenzie and Dani!!

5) I am interested to see why Annabelle was cut, since she was the top rookie coming in.

6) Sydney = Kat 2.0, but less camera ready.

Bless Denver’s heart...trying to activate an assistant coach because he knows the offense. And the NFL won’t do that OR let them reschedule for Tuesday night when they’ll be able to use a regular QB.

The NFL is SO inconsistent in how they’re managing the virus. I know they’ve got bigger barriers than the NBA or NHL just due to the size of the rosters, but sheesh.

Masks make sense during training camp so they could get a feel for them and how they moved. If they had done a true bubble then added in masks the same time as the boots, would have made more sense to me. Then you’ve got a true dress rehearsal with a game day situation.

May have to disagree with you on this.  Thick by DCC standards, not thick.  She is shaped like a woman not like a little girl.  She looks beautiful in the uniform!

Claire W is a whole other level of dancer from those cut because they were too thick.  Most were cut for dance reasons too.  Melissa, from SMU, was the same. And yes I am comparing Claire W to Melissa, that is the caliber dancer that Claire W is.
