I think Christmas told someone that she wanted her HOH to be written like it was from Loyal. I can't decide of that would be a step up or step down from Shelli's letter from her dog.

Didn't Jack's HoH letter come from his dog walker? I'm not sure which is cringier.

Omg I forgot all about this but thank you for reminding me because LOL

Right? There was a nano-second where I was like "Wow, that sucks that he couldn't dig up one family member or even a friend to write his HoH letter, it had to come from the random dude paid to walk his dog when he's gone?" and I felt kinda bad about it. But then Jack turned out to be... well, Jack and now it all makes sense.

If he were any kind of redeemable person, then I would have felt bad, but instead it's Jack so it all makes sense, really.

So, uh, I pretty much FFed most of the episode tonight (other than my usual routine of watching two minutes and then saying “Nope”) so only saw Ian torture the fuck out of the hammock while figuring obvious things out and Kaysar’s awesome speech and FBI hat exit and interview, but what with the power? It’s a comp? Can someone fill me in?

What's the over/under for David crawling around in the pitch black basement and coming out with a raging case of BB21 PTSD?

Swear to god that was the first thing I thought of.  🤣🤣🤣

It's a dark room comp called the Big Brother Basement where three powers are going to get handed out (I'm assuming to the top 3 finishers?). They're going to "shake up the game" according to Chenbot so expect Dani, Franzel, and Cody to win them. It sounds like the power apps from BB20.

I’m ready to cancel feeds. They are blocked out when the good conversations are happening. The game starts happening after HOH.  I’m glad there hasn’t been a true endurance because it would have been blocked anyways. Not to mention the fact that these shit people have shit conversations 24/7 and none of it means anything.

The annoying this is that I kind of don't care who gets one anymore. I'd rather not Nicole/Cody, but, to be honest, everyone else would deserves to feel the same punishment we have this season - not only for for being so blind, but also vomiting every little last bit of information they possibly could on them.

I've got the full-on LET IT ALL BURN Kaysar energy now.

I mean, if TV Guide says this season sucks, then the producers know. Maybe everyone will just wander around the basement in the dark trying to find the “power”, and the producers will Just shove it in the hands of the three people who are the least useless.

If everyone is allowed to play for the BB Basement twist I’m assuming feeds will be down for (practically) 24 hours. Ugh!

It would have to be an individual comp. Unless it's like the apple tree from BB19 but we never actually saw how that worked because Paul said that no one was going to use it so no one used it.

I actually think it could be kinda fun if they do it as a big group and the winners of the powers are announced right then and there. Not that it'll matter because it's not like anyone we want to win them is actually going to win because Big Brother and 2020.

It'd be hilarious if they made a power where we could vote, and then Julie would reveal the winner live only for her to be like "the audience voted OVERWHELMING NO to any of you getting any kind of power" and leave it at that so then they can spin out of control all AMERICA HATES USSSSSSSS and run around in circles while Nicole cries in the corner about Janelle.

When Julie said "Big Brother Basement", I thought for sure it was going to be a Vote for the Worst punishment thing like BB21's chicken wire comp. But no, it's a comp for the assholes to get an advantage they don't need. K cool poke me in October when the season is ending.

Feeds are back sounds like we missed a fight Day/Bay vs Nicole/Dani

Sounds like Ian went and told Nicole that he told Kaysar all that info because he thought Bay/Day was after him and Kaysar told him that Nicole was lying to him.

Sorry the feeds put me to sleep early.

It was indeed Ironic. Don't worry if you missed it. It's one of her music options if she wins HOH so there is opportunity for another performance. The other kicker for me is that Bayleigh had no idea who Alanis was.

New rule, if you are too young to know the music of my college days then you are too young to be on a show to win money of this magnitude. Or something like that.

I remember watching my first season of Big Brother (which was season three) and thinking Roddy was so old because he was in his early 30's.  Now I am ten years past that and I think man these people are so young.  Sports is what got me.  When all of the baseball players are younger than you and if I was playing I would be considered ready for retirement, well that is when I really started feeling old.

I don't know why I thought that was his brother's catchphrase.

Why couldn't Nicole A. be around for the basement challenge?

It sounds like Tyler is kind of trying to get Christmas to "come up with the idea" of keeping all of Da'Vonne/Bayleigh/Daniele since they're all gunning for each other, not Tyler/Christmas. He seems okay with Memphis - he says "we got him." Calls Kevin/David wildcards. Says Cody/Nicole are kind of a duo.

Christmas kind of isn't getting it. Tyler's like, "Why did you even win this? You didn't have to and are going to be exposed!"

Going for Kevin and David is "pointless" according to Tyler. Sounds like Bayleigh or Da'Vonne are it. Whoever let Arbor Day bring that stupid sequined sweater in the house should be fired because it makes more noise than Christie chomping on her Brussels sprouts last season.

Tyler is definitely pushing more towards Bayleigh/Da'Vonne over Daniele as the target. He says, at least only one person is coming for you if one goes, as opposed to Daniele who has Cody/Nicole and maybe The Committee.

I do think he's very worried about Bayleigh in Jury. Which, I totally would be too if I were him.

David was unimpressed with Kaysar's speech, but says even Julie was like "wow" about Christmas's.

...I don't think those "wows" were meant the way he thinks they were.

If Arbor Day actually thought that her weirdly stilted speech with its odd rhythm was her audition to host Big Brother when Julie retires, I regret to inform her that she didn't get the job. Ever. Security should escort her from the building and never let her in again.

If it is Bayleigh/Da'Vonne, who even goes?

Enzo/David/Cody all seem to want Da'Vonne to leave. Nicole F./Tyler/Kevin I assume would all want Bayleigh to leave. Ian/Memphis, I don't know.

Bayleigh/Da'Vonne each have some information that can come out this week. They know that Tyler was pushing the Daniele target hard. And does Christmas know about the Slick Six?

Kevin's so cute trying to strategize with Enzo on how to get Daniele out.

I hope Christmas tells Enzo it's "too soon" and he can do it on his next HOH, like he told them last week and wasted his HOH on Kaysar. He doesn't want to listen to these women shouldn't speak to him or voice their thoughts, but then expects them play the game for him like he's doing for Cody/Tyler.

Nicole crying again. She's scaaaaaared of Bayleigh.

In defense of Nicole, man do I hate typing that, I don't blame her.  I would be scared of Bayleigh as well after seeing her flip out on her first season of Big Brother and on the last season of the Challenge.

Daniele at least calling Nicole out a little bit for whining about how Da'Vonne is acting towards her.

Daniele: "What did you think she was going to say, though? How did you think she was going to act?"
Nicole: "Normal"
Daniele: "But it's not normal. We're all are very tense right now."

One more small silver lining is that Nicole is going to be uncomfortable living in this House for a while now.

Dani is trying to scoff at the idea that people were "coming after her." Nicole, because she has a better sense of the game, says, "I think they were." Dani brushes it off again.

It's hilarious that they blamed Kaysar, and both said they are trusting Tyler so much more now, when he's the one that's been pushing this whole Daniele thing the most since Week Two.

Tyler: Cody and Dani are so stressed they are waiting to fight. If you do this they'll be so thankful.

Xmas: I kind of want to see that though

Now this season is making me think Christmas thoughts...just another reason to hate it.

Kudos to everyone watching and reporting.  I made it through about 30 minutes of Franzel and Dani talking about how awful Bay is and I couldn't take anymore.  I still don't understand why they are so confused as to why people would believe Kaysar.  They should be talking about how terrible it is that they were caught, NOT that people are stupid for believing what is true.

ETA:  The glue that holds Dani/Cody/Franzel together is this group delusion that they, above all others, deserve to win this game.  They all seem to think that it should be handed to them on a silver platter and they all fall to pieces the minute something doesn't go their way.  The true test of a great player is how they play when things aren't going their way.  There's a reason Dan's Funeral was so impressive.  It's also why people don't respect winners as much when they get all the breaks throughout the game.  If you want to win, fucking earn it.

Arbor Day and David having a conversation is a new level of hell that hasn't been documented yet.

Just had a mental image of Dante watching the feeds and going, “Damn, y’all....”

So, in other words - Overwhelming No?  😉

Well, yeah; Bay’s black and all, yaknow?

Oh, wait a minute... Nicole can’t come right out and say that, can she?

Let’s see now; what was the BB House Basic White Bitch Code Word for “black” this season...?

Oh yeah, that’s right - I almost forgot.  Bay is “intimidating”.  Thanks again, Dani!

Happy Holiday should have told Tyler that she won this because nobody picked her in the competition, and then Day blew her HOH chance.  The fourth of July literally did nothing.
