Lake got 100% better for me once she took off the blinders about the basketball jerk and told him that she's awesome. Now this is a Lake that I can get behind!

I loved Victor and Benji dancing in the coffee shop after hours, but wow is Victor super trusting to just hand his phone over to a guy he has a crush on. You never know how nosy people will get and they can't unsee whatever they end up seeing.

I had a strong suspicion that the problem with Victor's parents was that the mom cheated and this episode all but confirmed it (the only other possibility I came up with after Roger started sending her FB messages was that she gave up a son for adoption and they reconnected but her husband doesn't want them to be in touch, which would be a dick move).

And now Pilar knows because of some ridiculous excuse they made up about having Pilar "set up" a Facebook account for her mom. I mean, seriously, you just need to enter an email address and a password. How does that require a tech savvy teenager? The hilarious thing is that my husband's teenage sister informed us a few years ago that "Facebook is only for old people," but apparently signing up with an email and password is just too complicated for a 40-something mom to handle on her own.

Heh, if Pilar were smart she'd be checking out Roger's FB profile and all of his friends to find out as much as she could about him!

Houston is very ethnically diverse and their restaurants reflect that. But Victor's dad has never gone to a ramen restaurant? Your loss, man. It's fucking delicious!

I set up my Mom’s Facebook account about a decade ago (now granted she was in her 60s at the time)- but she still doesn’t know how to upload photos and just shares things constantly. So I could see Pilar being the one to take all the photos and show her Mom how to use the app if she didn’t already have a page. 
 

I think Victor REALLY likes Benji. He likes Mia as a person, but his little self is lusting after Benji. Maybe he is bisexual or pansexual.
