There is nothing about an overseas trip to meet someone that doesn't even know how ugly you are in person, and you fear that reality that = "easy."  If Ed was just looking for sex, he could take a really cheap, short flight to Vegas to have easy sex.  

What he likely wanted was teenage-looking, subservient wife that was desperate to marry him knowing he could not get a teenage-looking subservient wife in the states.  Obviously he did not get that with Rose.

Lisa was bragging that she had 300 “yahoo boys” in her private messages. I get spam, but 300 messages from the same type of scammer? That doesn’t make you an expert, Lisa, that means you’re a mark. I’m sure Lisa has corresponded with more than a few of those people who have messaged her. Word probably got around that they had a mark.

The diet may have just been the final lie on top of the mountain of lies that finally did their relationship in.

I totally agree! Ash isn't perfect (no one is), but he seems so much more laid back & forgiving than Avery. SHE has broken up with him 4 TIMES before even meeting him! And it seems like (always have to consider the editing), she is constantly looking for something to question or doubt. I don't dislike either one of them,but cannot see how they (fr/what we were shown) EVER thought a relationship between them could work.

If you have to travel around the world to find someone who is subservient (by culture so says the lore), to marry what does that say about you?  It says you have to buy someone to marry you and it is evident to everyone you know but I guess there is no shame in your game.  If you know you are no prize and you have to resort to baiting someone with a green card and life in the US I would have to figure you feel pretty bad about yourself.

It looks like TLC will continue to give Tom Crooks a platform for his misogyny. He was featured for the B90 Strikes back spin-off.  🤮He may appear to be the dapper English gentleman but he is nothing of the sort. He's opportunistic, like Jesse, but with a much more apparent mean streak. He's a master of gaslighting.  He's just gross. 

Steph is a mean girl. Everything she said about Erika was really all about Stephanie. She's a textbook narcissist who uses her illness as a pity ploy.

 I hope Avery finds what she's looking for. It will be easier for her to find if she can be a bit more flexible & forgiving. IMO, she's (portrayed on the show as)  very rigid & ALWAYS looking for a reason to doubt someone. She deserves love just like everyone else, just hope she doesn't interrogate herself out of it.

No, with the K-1 visa process you don’t need a kid to be able to stay in the country once the marriage is over. Rose is just young and wants more kids.

If she came here as his fiance and then married him there would be no need for a baby, her status would adjust accordingly.

As for Avery looking at future mates with a bit of doubt, heck if I had two young kids (I do have two, they are in college) I would be doubting many a men, too.

If you are asked about red flags focus on the major ones not the trivial ones.  She has never told a lie (even a white lie)?  He cheated on the diet she likely pressured him into joining her in and he knew if he confessed she would use it as another opportunity to lecture him and act superior.  He has his faults but she appears to think she is perfect and all men should be grateful to even be in her presence.

Thank you for this! I have always thought that Ash has his faults, issues, whatever..... but Avery is portrayed as thinking she has done everything right and he's somehow trying to 'get one over' on her. Maybe she needs some therapy before getting into another relationship. And I do like Avery - and if i were her friend IRL, I'd suggest this to her.

I thought it was really ironic when Stephanie was screaming at Erika, "You're a CHILD! A CHILD!" when Erika was acting far more maturely than Steph and her obnoxious friends. After this, I hope Steph's internet cuh-reer tanks and she can't keep up the lease payments on her Porsche. 

Also, the whole season she has been touting herself as a "New York girl" from Yonkers, but the show was filmed "in quarantine with her family" in Seymour, CT, over 60 miles away.

In her defense (and gosh knows I don't really want to defend BGL), I get at least 3-4 "friend" requests on FaceBook weekly from what (to me) are obviously scammers - attractive men who look like Americans but are working abroad and yet mysteriously have no friends and only 1 or 2 photos - and I am only on FaceBook.  I would imagine if I were on other social media platforms I would get more requests (I did get one last week on LinkedIn which was so weird to me).  I never respond to them so that probably limits the amount I also get (and believe me when I say I'm definitely not a hot young thing nor do I live any kind of lifestyle to attract these hotties!).  My FaceBook posts are usually copies of recipes or pictures of stuff going on at my church - I'm really that boring.

I only started watching 90DF during Covid, but last night watched the rerun  of Darcey visiting Jesse for the first time in Amsterdam. She had the black version of this blonde wig and still looked harsh & awful with her duck lips & orange skin. Jesse told her to wear sneakers on a walk since the streets are cobblestone, but she wore 5" hooker heels and the walk quickly ended. And she was offended when he suggested she take off her makeup before bed.  She left her Janice-the-Muppet eyelashes on and wanted the lights off so Jesse wouldn't see her out-of-shape body.

It looked like a very inexpensive wig to me. The center part was placed too low on her forehead.  She has not been able to get her extensions redone, as per her quarantine segments. She would look ten years younger and twenty five pounds lighter if she got a bob that went right to the top of her shoulders at the most. All that hair with those gigantic breasts add to her girth. Same this Lisa.

My wife picked up right away that it was a wig, and an ill-fitting one at that. Darcey's part was way too far back and it didn't frame her face well at all, not to mention it being totally the wrong color for her skin tone.

We'd always thought Rose was a little slow, given her deliberate monotone when speaking English, but when she gets riled up? The Tagalog comes fast and furious from than one.

I was kinda Team Avery until this ep. Dumping a long-distance relationship because THEY are cheating on YOUR diet screams "Control Freak." Run, Ash, run.

Ed's daughter seemed genuinely hurt at his offhand comment that he'd give her up again to go chasing after Rose. It's very obvious how much he values her advice and counsel in his life: in other words, not at all.

Erika's not the first, nor will she be the last person suckered onto a reality tell-all with the promise that "We'll let you tell your side of the story" only to discover the producers have no intention of allowing it.

As intimated above, Tom has gained some weight. His formerly lean face is showing some chubby.

Assuming TLC doesn't give Geoffrey and Varya another go, it looks like we'll only be seeing any of these people again if:

1) Darcey's sister suddenly mentioning an impending K1 for her overseas boyfriend means Stacey makes the actual 90 Day Fiance show with Darcey chirping in occasionally

2) Stephanie gets her own show, which could explain TLC letting her and her friends run roughshod over a blindsided Erika.

Usman was the star of the show. I just loved his big grin and his genuine laughter. I'd like to hang out with him, I bet he's a stitch.

Still, when you compare Darcy in Amsterdam to last night's tell all Darcy, its night and day. Sure, we all snarked on how harsh and unflattering the black wig was, and that her clothes were too young/too tight. But she looks positively fresh and dewy compared to how she looks now. She is aging herself fast.
