Breaking News Alert: the cameras caught Lisa eating something at Garcelle's dinner event.  Not sure what it was, but she needed a fork.  Hope it didn't break her caloric limit for the week...

I think Teddi, especially since she was filming, should have put a bit more money into her maternity wardrobe. That sliver dress did nothing to enhance and she kept tugging at spots all night. 
Erika...do you bring your breasts out and proud to all charity events. Not the place for sexy dressing.

I was pleased for Garcelle that she got the award. She seemed gracious.

I think Garcelle had it right about Denise, she just wanted to protect her kids from what the adults were saying.  They see it as Denise not being "real" because she talked to them openly about sex, but Denise was talking about children.  I think most people have different conversations with their friends than they have with their minor children.

So, by resolution - does Rinna mean that Denise will finally admit that she's a hypocrite and the rest of the Housewives did nothing wrong and are just the best moms?  (I hate Rinna!)  For the record, I think that Denise is in the right and the rest of the women just can't admit they may have behaved inappropriately and didn't like being politely admonished to wait until the girls were gone - they've made this into something much bigger (of course) and their interpretation (now) seems to be that Denise is implying that they aren't the best mothers.  Which isn't at all what Denise was saying.

I’m watching Aaron and Denise chatting again dinner. He really is listening to her. Engaged with her content and meaning. I’d like a man that really cares about what I have to say. The comment about pinning her wedding ring while filming in her bra was cute. He asked which side. She said right. He stated something cute about it being too far (or farther) from her heart.

Garcelle is under rated.  IMO, Best New HW.  Way better than over rated, Leah McSweeney.  Her confessionals are fun.  She can throw shade.  Her kids aren't obnoxious.  She has a real career outside HW.  And she is loyal to her friends, unlike Rinna, who will be the first to throw them under the bus for a storyline.

I thought that was a really obnoxious way to open the show—basically to tease us with what’s coming up this hour to induce us to watch.  It’s desperate, like “Coming up on Dance Moms.”

Teddi’s closet looks like shit, I’m sorry.  To have that much space and to just have t-shirts and jeans in messy piles is a shame.  

It was funny to see Lisa try to stir Garcelle up about Denise not saying something to Kyle’s face and almost realizing midstream that Garcelle isn’t a Kyle fan, and Lisa switches right over to talking about Kyle.  The more things, change, the more they stay the same.  

I thought it was obnoxious of Garcelle to throw food repeatedly at a formal event.  If it was supposed to be endearing, it missed the mark.  She is making up for her diminished presence on the season though by bringing us to a black tie dinner and showing us her children and ex-husband more than we see half the husbands on this show.  

I think Kyle and Garcelle might be somewhat similar.  That passive-aggressive dig during her speech was Kyle-esque to me.  It was immature for the audience at large.  I am predicting it now—if Garcelle comes back next season, she and Kyle will be friends.  

If Denise can’t stay for this “shit show” because she is so busy shooting another show, they should dock her pay.  They should have docked Erika’s pay last season, and Garcelle’s and Kyle’s pay for the beginning of this season, and give it to Sutton, who is working overtime.  Same with Rinna filming 24/7 and Teddi doing this at like 11 months pregnant without complaint, because this is their job. 

Oh my God, Garcelle is lecturing Kyle because there was someone in Nashville with whom she connected with better than Kyle???  This is the dumbest argument since “glam.”  She is really just like Kyle.  Reeking of desperation if she senses someone doesn’t approve of her.  And I was so glad Kyle didn’t take the bait, because there was nothing to take.  

Lol at Sutton with the package deal.  I’m really liking her.

This is a ridiculous argument to continue to have. Beside the point that, given that Mauricio is not there because of a USC game, Kyle seems to have had this BBQ just to set up this fight.

But since the women have made it clear that they do not see any reason to speak differently around Denise's children than they would around adults, Denise can clearly decide whether she wants her children around that kind of talk. She has decided she does not.

The difference is that Denise didn't even know Dorito's daughter was there.  However the women knew Denise's children were there.

I think these women don't know how to let anything go, but I do understand their point that it's kind of disingenuous for Denise to be clutching her pearls when she has gone on national television talking about her sex life in very graphic terms. I'm sorry, her kids are going to know and hear about that. And for Denise to claim otherwise is nonsense. And Denise clearly has been more upset than she has let on. But, all that said, it is gross how the rest of the cast circles around her like sharks. Like, it's not that big of a deal?

I did think Teddi had a point. If someone told me they didn't want to bring their children around me, I also would take offense to it because it would be implying that I was somehow a danger to children, although like Garcelle said, it is Denise's right to bring her kids around whomever she wants. I laughed when Lisa went to the bouncy house with the kids because was as exhausted with the threesome talk as most of the viewers are. But the talk could have been over it if Lisa hadn't once again pressed the issue the final morning the women were in Santa Barbara by bringing up Charlie's hookers.

When Denise cut the women off at the end of last weeks dinner, she simple did not want to discuss anything about her daughter at length.  How do they not understand that.  Remember when Rinna threw her wine glass and said “don’t talk about my husband”.  Certainly Denise should be allowed to close a conversation about her child.  
 

Dorit and Kyle’s clothing for the BBQ, minus the BBG, was ridiculous.

Well, Denise had admitted that she swears around her kids.  That's not the issue.  And if Dorito had a problem with it, she could have said something.  She didn't.  So that's just Teddi butting in once again to try and stay relevant.

I don't blame Denise and Aaron for leaving.  Why stay at a party that's just going to be a pile on against you?  They're criticized for not bringing their kids and then it's just pick, pick, pick.  Teddi stirs the pot, Kyle can't read a room and Erica is just a See You Next Tuesday with shitty fashion sense.

Garcelle and Kyle seemed to be getting along at Kyle's BBQ. I don't think Kyle dislikes Garcelle. She just may not engage with her because she hasn't spent a lot of time with her. I think if the two of them spent some time alone together, they could actually get along just fine.

Oh Rinna, so what if Denise made some mild comments about Kyle after the way Kyle treated her. Saying she likes attention, at that. We've known this about her since season 1. Not exactly a secret or anything sensitive. You however said that Kim was close to death and that Kyle was an enabler when you and Kyle were on friendly terms. I cut you slack for that because you just talk a lot without thinking sometimes, but why so hard on Denise?

That's fine. I don't fully agree with Denise, but she has a right to feel how she feels. She was done with the threesome talk, but Lisa brought it up once again when they were in Santa Barbara.
