Me too. And that wasn't some charming farmhouse - it looked like a pigsty kind of like Mick. Ines exited, so of course they up the ante and bring in that piece of work Susie. What a horrible bitch. The way she talked about him in front of him and everyone else was borderline verbal abuse. And she is one of those horrible people who think it's okay to be mean because "they are just being honest". She is cruel. And unlike Bronson who seemed like he could deal with Ines' bullshit, watching Susie destroy Billy is like watching someone kick a puppy. It's very unpleasant to watch.

It was an inappropriate story about being out with his friends drunk and taking Viagra and finding no-one to use it on so he used it for himself so to speak in the same room as his friends were sleeping or something like that, but with more gross details.......

Yes. I think it was he and his friends went out, Mick took viagra and pulled the tablecloth over his head to make a tent while he pleasured himself. Dan and Jesse are both deceitful snakes and deserve each other.  Them staying just so they can sneak around on their partners is disgusting.  If there's that big an attraction, fine, look each other up after the show and let Tamara and Mic find some decent partners.

So, if one partner repeatedly writes Leave, they have to stay until the end?  That's crazy. It should be that if one partner writes Leave twice, they can walk away.

Nick needs to get out of this marriage to Cyrell - her brother Ivan would be too much to contend with and she's going to snap one day and someone's going to get hurt.  I don't see why they matched these people.

Suzy is a nasty vain bitch and sweet Billy deserves someone nice. It's torture to watch him lose his confidence more and more each week.

These experts are worthless.

What I hate most about this show is that the experts know what is going on between Jess and Dan and don't call them on it. They let poor Tamara think that the relationship still has a chance. Nice way to humiliate someone on national tv, experts (so-called)

Suzy is just an awful person. I feel for her daughter. 

Cyrell's mother seems nice and level-headed while Cyrell and her brother Ivan are hot-headed. I understand Nick's feeling that he's just waiting for the next explosion to happen. I wonder if Ivan will ever find any man acceptable for his sister. Run, Nick, run.

I wish I had the willpower to stop watching this train wreck.

Mick's comments about Jess' family were wrong, but how douchey of her to set up that dinner specifically to tattle on him when they both know they're not staying together and she's actively trying to cheat on him. Just let the man go.

So Ning basically admitted in front of Mark that she has no attraction to him, but then decides to settle for him when her friends point out how nice he is. Mark carried himself well during that. "He's not what you want, but he's what you need" is a pretty backhanded way to describe anyone's partner, much less to their face. Ning blaming her baggage and rambling about walls is just a way of circle talking around her lack of sexual attraction to him, imo.

Nic and Billy both need to get out ASAP. It's just constant verbal abuse and walking on eggshells, especially for Nic.

Well Jules obviously did notice, and perhaps Ning. When Jessika and Mick were on the hot seat Jules did question why Jess would want to even continue to stay and bring Mick home to her hometown this week, after he had called her family members some vile names.  

The names were bleeped and other than calling the dad a drunk what did Mick call Jess's sister and brother?

Are there any MAFS Australia spoilers out there?

It would be interesting to know what type Ning usually dates. Not to be cruel or anything but I don' t think Ning is all that attractive herself.  Mark's okay. He's not ugly by any means and takes care of his body. I just think they have been such a mismatch from day one, though, b/c Mark really has been a confirmed bachelor for a long, long time and Ning comes with 3 children. I became a stepmother of a 4 year-old when I married my husband (he wasn't the custodial parent), but of course I was on board with that. I don't think it's fair to any of the participants to be matched up with a parent of 3 unless they themselves have one or more children. It would be a lot for Mark to take on, although he has insisted he's looking forward to meeting Ning's children.

I honestly DID suspect this as I watched Dr. Trisha's reactions and discomfort during the Dinner Parties and Commitment Ceremonies.  I hope that her departure from the show leaves her feeling a helluva lot better and restores her sense-of-self as a REAL therapist!  "Good on ya, mate!" 😃

Thanks for this. I hadn't heard that she had left the show. So, apparently the season currently airing is season 6 and Dr. Trish left after this one. They've not been airing in chronological order since we know that Lizzie/Seb followed Lizzie/Sam, yet Lizzie/Sam aired this season. I've not watched since the beginning, but have they aired all seasons here in the US?

But what they noticed, as did everyone else, is name calling of Jess's family members by Mick, they weren't commenting on her leaving the table with Dan.  Wouldn't Mick have seen how she was flirting with him and with other husbands in prior episodes and gone to check it out?  If he had caught them in the act, surely the "experts" would have to break their stupid rule and let him leave the experiment even though Jess wrote stay.

I believe Cyrell and Jess were angry that at one point or another, Nick and Mick wrote, "leave",  so they painted them in a bad light for their families.  Cyrell knows that her brother is a hot head, and yet, she informed him that Nick didn't have her back.  Jess insisted on bringing Mick home so that she could make him feel uncomfortable in the presence of her family. On Season Seven, several participants walked away, so their partner had no choice but to leave.  I think Mick, Billy and Nick should just bail.

To me, Martha and Michael are just "there," filler, meh.

Nick is an absolute fool if he stays with Cyrell.  Based on how her brother treated him, they will never have a happy marriage. This is independent of Cyrell's anger management problems. I hope he leaves.

Jules is so elegant, so beautiful.  Her apartment was exactly what'd I'd imagine from such a lovely woman.  I love the coupling.

Jessika's face bugs me.  The lips are awful, but there's something off about her eyes. At first I thought she was the better looking of the couple, but Mick is becoming more and more attractive.

The ridiculous part of the show is how Ines, Jessika act as though the only way they can sneak off with the other partners is if they are on this show.  As though they could *never* be in touch off-camera. 

And then there are the Susie's who make such a big deal about hating their partners but ooooh, I'm going to stay!  As if we are to believe it isn't for camera time.  And those false eyelashes are awful.

I just don’t know what to believe anymore.  In the beginning, I thought everything was real.  Then the Ines thing threw me for a loop and I was disgusted.  Then came Jessica, even worse.  Why did the show do thisuu?  Because they aren’t legally married?  I’ll watch, but don’t know what’s coming next.  It’s just not right, and it’s getting stupid.   Then on the other hand, Jule’s story is cute and good, but there’s no drama, and that’s what production wants.  Guess they are mixing it up.

There are stories online from the cast about what story lines were producer driven and manipulated which is no surprise for these kinds of shows if one is inclined, but I was surprised at the candidness if they were asked to sign NDAs like they do here.

Did we not see a home stay for Martha and ponytail guy?  I don’t think it matters, she just seems vapid.

This had to be on every night in Australia because there are so many episodes-40ish.

So maddening to watch Billy leave only to come back to give "one last" zinger---Susie's looks will fade; her friends are enablers; she's nasty; she's lost a good man. All true, but then he goes outside and weeps, proving her repulsive and officious father to be perspicacious about Billy's being "weak"! Man up! Don't call a petite woman a "bully"! 

Much as I adore Jules and Cam, I'm going to bell the cat, to wit: She's getting hippy. J/S. But she is blessed with, as Cam noted, beautiful  eyes. I like his looks, facial hair or not. And her parents weren't  obnoxious. Good match. 

Cyrelle's  family, especially  brother Ivan the Terrible? Fuhgeddaboutit, Nic! Your body literally doesn't need the added stress of this family.  

And yes, Cyrelle calls out the BSers, the cheaters, the sly dogs---but it's more about the DRAH-MA than the truth.

Jessika thinks Dan is a better catch than Mick? Some of her lip injections must have traveled  up to cloud her vision, for Dan is looking fuglier by the week! And HE is equally myopic, for Tamara is way more attractive than Jessika. And way more ethical. 

I don't buy the New and Affectionate Ning with Mark for one Aussie second. She left her phone on hoping to be...interruptus, IYKWIMAITYD.

Handsome Michael was funny with, and rated highly by, Martha's family. I liked when he related how he first thought that her mother coming down the aisle was his bride, and said to himself, "Okay, I can work with this." Bwahaha! 

Heidi and Mike. Eh. She's putting in her hours until she can punch out. She made it clear last time that she needs more emotionally than Mike offers.

I have to admit to myself that this show is pretty much scripted reality tv and then just relax and enjoy the mess. How else can Jess and Dan disappear for hours at a time, but literally are just on the patio located right next to the dining room divided by GLASS French doors, but yet no one sees them?!?! At least Ines and her snack found a backroom away from the group with a solid door.

Cyrell has her detractors but I like her and appreciate her airing the BS because it was getting exhausting to watch this go on and on. I hope she got a bonus for her performance.

I don't know why but Mick whistling every time Jess gave him a fake insincere compliment was just so funny to me. 

Mick is definitely a hick but he is quite funny, surprisingly articulate and astute. A way better catch than short necked Dan, but yeah, Mick kinda loses me with that farm because I wouldn't want to live there either.

Susie's eyes are weird and the lashes only make it worse. Hate to bring up the old line but she does have shark eyes - cold and dead but also somewhat wonky. Great figure though. 

Billy is a bit of an odd duck who definitely doesn't deserve Susie's treatment. Rooting for him putting his foot down but WOW was that ever cringey. 

With all the crazy bugs and spiders running around down under, it boggles the mind to see so many of them walking around bare foot outside, especially in the dark. NOPE! Spiders is the main reason I don't ever want to go to Australia. LOL!

Highlight of the night was Mick's bug-eyed, blank stare as he calmly tried to take in Cyrell spilling (yelling) the beans in front of everyone, lol. Between that, scoffing at Jess' fake compliment barrage, and finally dressing up as a dinner party swan song, he has never been funnier.

I'm glad Cyrell called out Jess and she seems to be a very loyal friend. For once her being confrontational came in handy. I'm disappointed at her immaturity in taking her ring off with Nic though. She's always calculated in trying to hurt him out of spite and it's super unhealthy. I know it doesn't matter because he should leave regardless, but he's always been devoted to her. It's unfair and characteristically self-absorbed of her to expect him to eagerly enter a lifelong macho pissing contest with her blowhard brother - or else he "must not really care!!" It's manipulative gaslighting to create conflict and get off on being in the middle.

Tamara deserves so much better. I really respected her for attempting to have a rational, objective discussion with Jess instead of going off on her. 

Susie is definitely the one in the wrong, but Billy was...a masterclass in cringe. It almost made you forget how awful Susie is, which is nearly impossible. It was like watching a butthurt 15-year-old try to pretend his girlfriend dumping him was actually his idea. "And another thing...you're ugly anyway!" I've never seen anyone do the "walk back inside for one final zinger" thing outside of sitcoms. He needs to learn the value of quitting while you're ahead. I thought his tantrum with her friends was deeply embarrassing as well. Dude, they're not involved! Their opinions mean nothing! They can't make her like you! You asked to to talk to them alone! Even if they agreed with you, it doesn't fix anything. Billy came off sulky and petulant. It wasn't exactly a glowing advertisement for his future girlfriends. He should've just smiled and taken the high ground. I think he, like the sporty woman in the lesbian marriage last (next?) season, was all too happy to accept her personality when he thought a he had a shot with a woman he perceived to be out of his league physically, only to self-implode in pettiness when he realized he had no chance. Not a good look.

The jury's still out on Ning and Mark - her sabotaging the first time they had sex with a random phone call suggests she's still fixated on retaining emotional control of the relationship, as Mike astutely pointed out - but I find their dynamic delightful. Her coaching him about his kissing technique being "too stabby" was hilarious, and it was encouraging to see Mark respond with laughter. He knows not to take her passive aggression personally now and you can see the evolution of their relationship, especially when compared to their disaster of a honeymoon pool kiss. He's been a really good sport about the entire experience. He might be the best catch of the husbands, personality-wise. It's just a matter of whether and when Ning decides their emotional intimacy can overcome her lack of physical attraction to him. I'm rooting for them, though!

Watching Michael with Martha's uncles was adorable.

Totally agree that Billy’s outbursts were cringeworthy, but I’m giving him a pass. Susie was gaslighting him- jumping between being sweet as pie, cooking and buying his preferred wine, and yelling at him for what she perceived as his faults. The conversation with her dad made him realize that Susie was a lot of work, and not a job he was up for taking. He was obviously already completely checked out when he met with Susie’s friends, and then she started being extra fake again and pretending everything was peachy keen. Once the friends again mentioned that Susie is just like that but admitted that she hadn’t treated past partners that way, I think his adrenaline started pumping and he couldn’t hold himself back any longer with the full airing of the grievances.

Billy strikes me as a kind, sensitive person who has never encountered someone like Suzie before. I think it took him a while to even process that a person could act the way she did, it is just so far out of his life experience.  That is why his way of ending things with her seemed a bit inept.  I actually think better of him for it.  Sure he may not be everyone's cup of tea, but is correct to not have a shred of concern for what Suzie thinks of him. She came of as a horrid person, and too bad for her that it was on international television.

He probably needed a moment to wrap his head around the fact that the "experts" would match him with someone so horrid on purpose! The saying "Pretty is skin deep, but ugly is to the bone" describes her perfectly. What a wretched human. He is a good looking, nice guy - he will find someone better than her, but good luck to her finding someone willing to put up with her garbage for long......

I can’t get over the way Marta was standing up for Jess, knowing what she is doing. She is just as bad and maybe worse.  She made a good point when she said that Jess wouldn’t confide in Cyrell. I don’t believe she did. I wonder who told Cyrell about Jess and Dan. If Michael knows why Mick is being held hostage, I believe he owes it to him to speak up.

Heidi appears to be highly emotional. I think she is deliberately sabotaging her relationship with Mike. He seemed extremely hurt when she said he was inconsiderate. They should just pull the plug. 

I think Dan’s mom was instrumental in turning him against Tamara. He appeared smitten until she told him she didn’t think Tamara was the one.

Run Nick. Run Billy. Don’t look back. Was hoping Mick was going to join them.
