That notice Michael has looks fake as fuck.  Denial notices probably are shipped in batches and don't have handwritten dates and a weird arrow.

Wine Michael probably dropped the pre-nup idea as soon as he realized it couldn't be completely one sided.  He is such a remarkable mansplaining ass.  "That doesn't have anything to do with you modelling or that time I left you high and dry without any money!"

I bet there is a taxpayer loophole... especially since Angela is paying a lot of taxes.

*Personally if I couldn't find a second H" I would've opted for a pirate-themed APPY BIRTHDAY to go with the booty Anny was so keen on scouting.

I truly wish I had anny's body confidence.  It must be great.

I do not understand her need to convert him.  He is willing to go to church with her to make her happy.  There are plenty of people who are christians who make it to church less than twice a year.

If Natalie wants to marry in the Orthodox Church, Mike must be baptized in the Trinity as a Christian.  He wouldn't have to convert to Orthodoxy - and the Church, unlike Natalie, wouldn't force him.  She could still marry him outside of the Church, but the Church would not recognize the marriage and she would not be allowed to receive other sacraments.  Yet, she has not articulated her concern, if any, about these profound implications for her own salvation.  (Crying in a fetal position next to a rainbow unicorn must be a more compelling argument.)  She's more concerned about Mike's, even though he's been consistent, firm and clear about his own beliefs.

Their backstory is that they met through friends who asked them to be the godparents of the friends' infant child.  Somehow these friends were able to reconcile Natalie's and Mike's disparate religious beliefs in a church.  Or, the godparents never considered religion . . .

I honestly think that Mike wouldn't even mind an official "baptism".....he just wouldn't believe it.

Part of me thinks that she is just trying to see how far she can push him and what strategies can bend him to her will.  She had all the tears and waterworks.  But I noticed that once he was clear and concise that he wasn't going to magically going to convert in the face of her tears she automatically turned them off.

Shouldn't Juliana be actually talking to WineGuy about her future with him? She is not near the top of the model food chain. What are her plans for her life when the modelling stuff ends?  What is plan B? Will Michael let her go to school or work or does he want her just as arm candy and to prop up his ego?

Will she be starting a business? School? Getting a bachelor's degree and then maybe a master's? Does she have the grades for that? The motivation to pursue studies?  Talk about wanting to be a doctor is cheap. Lots of time, dedication, and work. Does she expect to make it through life on her looks and finding a rich guy to pay her way through life? And then when she gets tired of that one and someone else comes along or the rich guy doesn't raise her interest any more, it's the same thing. Have your own dreams and work toward them. Life can throw many curveballs - Michael losing his job, losing most of his money, getting injured, etc. How will she manage? Will she even want him 2 years from now?

Yuck - Robert is broke, boring and awfully judgmental for a guy who has five damn kids by four women.

Right now, team anny.  Wonder why she is judgy about porn star granny....at least PSG is getting paid.....not trying to give a broke ass guy a fantasy.

Robert wants a woman who is loving, caring, will be a nanny and is happy shopping at the Goodwill.  But don't worry, Robert is perfect and doesn't need to change at all.

Why did Mother Natalie kidnap the unicorn?  And isn’t Eastern Europeans cuisine very meat centric?  No wonder she can’t find a local man.

I have Eastern European heritage. Some of my relatives were farmers, so there was some meat - chicken, cows, etc. Lots of starchy foods like potatoes, rice, filled dumplings, etc.

Tania's roommates were kind of annoying, albeit infinitely less so than Tania. As a white cis woman, I'm not sure if my opinion matters (genuinely, not being sarcastic), but I don't think Syngin being white or cis has anything to do with him being incompatible with Tania - she just lacks empathy and turns every problem or criticism into a social justice issue to avoid accountability. Interracial relationships can be very complex, but Tania's obsession with blaming every single unrelated dispute they have on Syngin being white is bizarre. It's almost like she's eagerly waiting for him to fail. Plenty of marginalized folks won't date people in the majority because they would never understand their experiences - which is totally fine! I just don't get why she would even bother dating a white guy when she's internalized the idea that his whiteness translates to irredeemable ignorance or a permanent character flaw.

And since when does someone wanting to hear from you every day or, God forbid, make sure you're safe after a night of getting wasted translate to being clingy or immature? Tania's friends opining about how she couldn't be expected to raise or mother Syngin was condescending as fuck. Uhhh, hey assholes, she ditched him at home to be her live-in maid for a month while she parties and flirts with other dudes.

Syngin dumping Jack Daniels in his coffee at the crack of dawn (???) and miserable Mama Tania harping on him for taking it from her made me concerned there's dueling drinking problems happening there.

LOL.  When I was in law school, they had like something called a "winter intensive" which was basically a two week long cruise someplace exciting with like an hour or two of lecture in the morning and some BS test at the end.

It was basically a way for professors to get a free cruise and for desperate students who were short on credits to pick up like 3-4 units of credit.

.......essentially, a cruise masquerading as class.

Tonia's Costa Rican  "intensive"  totally reminds me of that.  If you only have a month to learn 1000s of years of ancient herbal remedies and ancient healing methods and you're serious.....you and your buddies aren't out every day and night learning salsa, drinking, cavorting in the ocean and hitting up the clubs.

I suspect that everything she has "learned" could be gotten off YouTube or an online course.

I wonder if Tania didn't get some small business loan or government grant to pay for this woke educational vacation.

And I LOL at Tania trying to choose a group of friends that would allow her to be the Beyonce.  Those girls ...woof!  I pity the men of Costa Rica!

Sanctimonious Robert.  He wants the perfect mother for his son, but he's spawned 5 kids by 4 different women. Where's his halo there?  Let me guess, each baby mama wasn't pristine enough.  He's dirt poor, has the nasty habit of dangling nice things in front of Anny and then says no and always looks disheveled. She needs to go back home.

Very apt description:  Sanctimonious!  Ugh he bugs.  And I can't stand the drawn out droopy dog way he talks.  Shocked he put on a collared shirt for the strip club!

Mursel is such a douchecanoe.  He tells his family that she has kids.  Like she sprang it on him.  Never once saying that he knew before, or that he loves her.  Has he even said that to Anna?  Of course his family would tell him to come home.  He made her the villain.

It is! However, I seem to remember, from past seasons' discussions, all prenups made in k1 situations are null and void

They aren't totally invalidated, just that the sponsor would still be financially responsible for the 10 years, despite what might be written in a pre-nup.  It was mostly Chantal horrified that she'd still need to pay for Pedro, even if the pre-nup gave him nothing.

TLDR:  My 88 year old mom is a closet-90-day-watcher!

I've missed joining in the live chat for a a few weeks (my favourite part of the week).  I've had to temporarily relocate to my Mom's city as she is in hospital.  Mom is 88, has broken her arm and her leg so she's quite disabled at the moment.  Her mind still works just fine.

So yesterday, she was telling me about an acquaintance who moved to Sequim.  I said that I watched a TV show that has a guy from Sequim.

Mom:  Oh I never watch TV.  I usually read or crochet.

Me:  Well, the show is low-brow and I'm embarassed to say I watch.  Its called 90 Day fiance.

Mom:  Oh that show is awful.  Where is the Sequim guy's fiance from?

Me:  Ukraine

Mom:  Did you see that guy last season who gave manicures?  He was totally scammed by a woman from the Ukraine.

Me:  I thought you didn't watch TV

Mom:  Oh I don't, I just see the show sometimes when I'm flipping channels.

Me:  Do you know who Darcey and Jessie are?

Mom:  Oh she's awful.  I like the show where they go to the old couples' homes and film them watching the show.  That's a good one.

Me:  That's Pillow Talk.  But I thought you didn't watch TV

Mom: I don't.

@Horrified, mon amie, we definitely are related because: same mother.

Call me.

Then he is a jon.

He should be able to find a woman his own age and shouldn't expect that someone half his age and weight is going to unconditionally love him because he surely does not unconditionally love her.

His love is very conditional, and he is willing to pay as long as he is getting to sleep with her and traipse around with her on his arm as a young, model trophy wife.

But he wanted to punch above his weight and that's gonna cost money.

I trade something different for money than what Juliana has and she is a much harder worker than I am.  I'd find it incredibly tough to be in her position.  If she wants to be a trophy wife I really don't think it makes her any better or worse than me.

Both parties take a risk.  When she finds out he doesn't have the money he pretends to have, she would be justified in leaving.  If she gains 70 pounds and starts wearing sweats he would be justified in leaving.

I was dead in the bed at that.  She must be planning her escape.

Is her plan to be broke and hang out with her sister all day or to be broke and hang out with his parents all day?

Because the woke herbalists wanted to throw as much shade on the un-decolonized man as possible.  They're super judgy for people who have known Tania for two weeks, and only have her side of the story.  Syngynyny is bored AF, trapped in a she shed with no friends, and a woman who measures her whisky.  Yeah, he might want to talk to his fiance.  And wanting a text to know you're safe isn't so unreasonable.

I think mother Tania is annoyed as hell to have them around and is acting out.

If I heard a guy yodelling every morning outside my window in his robe I might be a little on edge too.  Especially when there isn't a solid date for them to leave.

Tania is going to make soap money in the future and syngin is going to make woodworking money in the future....but no one is making money in the foreseeable future so they will be in that shed forever.  Which means they will always be drinking her liquor, eating her cake and paying for none of it.

30 year old moochers.

Her Costa Rican vacation serious herbalist intensive is ridiculous.  Tania is just one of those people who just wants to do what she wants to do.  She could just text him no matter what....but she doesn't want to do it if she doesn't feel like it.

Aside from the prenush, why can’t Michael put $10 grand in an account for Juliana in good faith? She can save, go to college, buy a dress, or send money to her family in Brazil or whatever, and she’ll have some feeling of independence until she’s able to work.

Has anyone said to Juliana: If we get divorced, you are entitled to half my money, so the pre-nup is a way to insure that you don't get half, you get less? This sounds like shit, but IS the purpose, that she not get what the law may entitle her to. But they keep beating around the bush- talking about "protecting the kids" but not spelling it out.

A friend of mine married a guy with a lot of family money.  Old money. It  was a second marriage for both. His family insisted on a pre nup as they didn't trust her. They didn't want her getting her hands on their money if the marriage failed quickly. However, the pre-nup was set up so that if the marriage lasted 8 or 10 years, it was null and void. After 5 years she got more, it was graduated like that. They have a child now and have been married 20 years.

Trying to keep telling Juliana in plain terms what the pre-nup means, is why she is all confused. Tell her: It's to make sure you are not entitled to half - or whatever the law states, if we get divorced in 2 years. Period.

Except, she's not entitled to half of what Michael brings to the marriage. Even in community property states, separate property owned prior to marriage remains separate property after marriage unless something happens that converts it to marital property. As for prenuptial agreements, the true, intended purpose is to give the parties control (rather than the court) over the division of property should they end up divorcing. And by agreeing at the outset, the parties' wishes are more accurately reflected should the marriage go bad and hopefully, a long, expensive fight on the back end is avoided, or at least minimized.  However, that's not nearly as dramatic as the made-for-tv myth misperception of prenups as a way for the wealthier spouse to screw the less powerful spouse.

(And you may now return to your regularly scheduled programming... lawyer hat removed, reality tv snarking hat back on. )  (-:

I assume the teddy bear with a hangover is going to be part of the package during the Tell All of  people who had to awkwardly overhear a Robert and Anny argument. Personally, I was hoping for a stripper or barista, but a hangover bear will do. So far we have a clerk at a thrift store, boxing trainer, rental associate, and a teddy bear. I'm hoping the onlookers continue to be surreal.

In keeping with my great love of Bravo reality shows, I'd love a cameo of Harry Dubin as an onlooker during another Robert and Anny argument, a shot of someone else in the cast eating and ignoring another RAnny meltdown (it could be Bryson, GILF, or Robert's sister), and a strange celebrity cameo ala Michael Lohan during the wig tug. In my professional life, it was when someone gave Deion Sanders a pass to be on the floor in the middle of some pretty serious legislative debate.

As a professional in the field, if we consider someone like Tania, who is brand new to this and probably not entirely sure what the business opportunities are in this area.....do you think she gets maximum benefit from going to Costa Rica to study?  I would think that even if she wants to learn on person, that a domestic course would be less expensive, give her hands on experience with the basics and would allow her to bring syngin along.

She made this all sound like a life or death situation....like if she didn't learn from the people IN Costa Rica then she couldn't learn at all.

I am not disagreeing that she certainly seems to be lacking in certain areas. And she may have bypassed local opportunities to learn. But, personally, I don't see anything wrong with her going to Costa Rica for that. It may be closer to her personal culture (along with dancing the salsa) as far as I know. She may be learning something like Santeria and just not being specific about it.

It looks like Tania paves and pays her own way albeit appearing to be a bit giddy and selfish.

I suppose that in the lack of evidence to the contrary it should be assumed that she is paying her own way.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out there was some kind of government grant funding her adventure.  But, you'd be right to say that I shouldn't assume.

I think I'd have less of a problem with it if it wasn't smack in the middle of three months that her fiance is here and she kinda abandoned him with her mother who, very clearly, doesn't like the idea of them mooching off her.

It kinda looks more like an educational vacation to me.  Like if you visit belgium and sign up for a chocolate making class.  Yes you learn how to make chocolate and that's cool....but it's mostly vacation.   Does that make sense?  It's just how I see it, but it's likely colored by my experiences

The one time I've had to learn a lot of information in a short amount of time is when I studied for the bar.  And that did not allow for salsa dancing, ocean galavanting, nightclubbing, or any other fun.

So far, I think I've made more soap than Tania.  But my soap was a disaster, so maybe I should go to Costa Rica 😋

Anyways, your job sounds really neat.  I've only tangentially read up on essential oils because of soaps and it's a pretty interesting field.
