I've reworded this a few times, because I think it was much bitchier than I intended, so I deleted everything but this...

We are not hypocrites for calling Geoffrey out on his past, a past he mentions on the show involves him being a drug dealer and being in prison. There is nothing hypocritical about it.

His behaviors toward to Varya are concerning to many of us, too. He mentioned his son's death and his anger on the show, but I don't remember him mentioning domestic violence, because I tend to skip his parts.

Darcey and Stacey have so many fillers, if you did a tissue sample it would show that they are now 64% synthetic.

So David is the new Caesar.  He's the Dick Sargent to Caesar's Dick York.

Yep, Ed's being scammed.  But I actually like Ed.  He acknowledges he is being scammed.

Stephanie is the latest 15 minutes of fame entry to the show.  I don't believe her story for a minute.  She could get any date she wants, male or female.  But the pink haired lesbian in Australia is her ticket to TLC.

He reallllly seems like a silicone dolls guy.  I can already envision him on one of those documentaries.....dressing up the doll....giving it a name.....putting it in a room with "sister dolls".....cheating on the doll with another doll.....giving the dolls "personalities"

I mean, he has given Lana a personality based mostly on emojis...so he has a good imagination.

@RealReality You rock!!  Best. Comment. Ever.

OOOOOOohhhhhhh!

That's right - did he send her sister money to save her store??  Last night was the first episode I've ever watched - and then the hilariously funny Pillow Talk afterwards!

Why didn't Ed shower after his flight, just went straight to bed? Damn.

Wearing the same clothes (ew!), though he did remove his leggings . . .

While I am home from work I thought I would clean up my home office, (just something to balance out the binge watching) and found the business card from the sales manager of the car dealership where I bought my current Mini...his last name is Usman.  Is Lisa of York's Nigerian Baby Love's last name Usman or is that really his first name?

David . . . meet Yolanda.

Yolanda . . . meet David.

You both live in Las Vegas, and have SO MUCH in common.

  • You're both "in love" with fictional people in another country.
  • You're willing to spend all the money to fly "where they are" so that your love story can move to the next level, even though there's no guarantee that ANYONE will be waiting for you.
  • You are delusional about how much a much younger, hot person is attracted to you.
  • You have never video-chatted (with sound AND picture) with the object of your affection.

You folks need to move into that nice RV David wants to buy and move on.

She sells junk on Ebay as a side hustle and he has a garage filled with it. Match made!

Do you think Stacy has the same issues?

7 hours ago, SunnyBeBe said:

Yes, but, I sense that Stacy is even alarmed by Darcey, at this point.

Stacey absolutely has the same issues, but not to the severity of Darcey. Stacey and Darcey both have the same horrendous plastic enhancements, Stacey has a much younger "attractive" romantic partner in Florian yet she doesn't speak a lick of his language, and Stacey's and Darcey's ex-husbands filed for divorce simultaneously. Everyone senses that Stacey is the dominant twin so she, perhaps, isn't quite as much of a needy mess as Darcey, but Stacey is absolutely a needy mess. Darcey is just more of a mess.

Watching Babygirl Lisa bask in the afterglow with Usman was... something that I can never un-see. She had to show him how to do oral sex ya'll. I'm dead.

So gross and then she had to tell the world all about it too.... she really does think she's something lol.

I don't doubt Ed was hot and overheated in Manila but his wet sweat patterns on his shirt just didn't look real.....I think I could make out a wet handprint on his back.

Geoffrey has the worst tattoos ever!

I was thinking the same thing. This is the face of a guy who is suffering from an intense case of PTSD.

That is exactly what I was thinking when I saw that pic.  He almost looks traumatized.

No, he told her they could discuss it when he got there, then he admitted in his TH that her request made him suspicious especially since she had asked him not to tell Rose.

David's hair reminds me of those old "Wooly Willy" drawing games where you use a magnet on black metal shavings to add hair to a bald cartoon head

I keep getting pop ups for a company called Top Geek selling 3 oz. of hand sanitizer for $ 10! Reprehensible price gouging!

It’s something he can’t ever forget. This looks like the face of regret and wondering if the things he did are worth the green card.

David’s shirt is UUGE! And he has blotchy “old man skin” which clashes with the raven black hair. BCA4D1B5-FB9A-4052-B602-C5A2C495AC11.thumb.jpeg.0965fde055e65ffb85d05b467a1b5623.jpeg

He spends up to 4 hours a day a few days a week inside his house chatting on line with her. Occasionally he takes his iPad outside to chat. He says it feels  like she’s really there with him while he sits in the park or does errands.

Me too.  That ad looks scammy as hell, I bet whatever you order will just be $10 scented tap water.  Or just basic lube with a couple drops of alcohol.

Just hand wash with soap and water.  Now that so many cities are basically on lock down it shouldn't be too hard.

He could have saved money if he bought the bundle: chat room, blow up doll, black shag rug cartoon-ready toupee.

But-but-but if she'd been in the US with him then he'd have spent that money on her anyway on dates! (As theorized by David who, granted, is in love with a computer.)

That’s the pool area at Foxwoods Casino in CT. I’ve been there numerous times to pour money into the slot machines.🎰 Trust me, a person who is well-versed in reality would not be mistaking it for Monte Carlo or St. Tropez. Maybe if you squint your eyes and disregard the large percentage of elderly people in wheelchairs and scooters dragging an oxygen tank behind them.......

My aunt said the same thing about Vegas. She thought there would glamourous people, but it mostly older and heavier people when she went.

As for David, he's clearly an awkward guy who has trouble reading people.  Most guys I would assume it was just he wanted to have sex, but he seems like it might be real challenge for him to tell if a woman is interested unless she's direct about it.

I don't think I like her, either.  I have never been to Tennessee, but I hardly think you could call Knoxville a "village"!  What IS the definition of a "village", anyway?  lol

She’s from Siberia, isn’t she? Not exactly cosmopolitan. Just the mild climate in TN is an upgrade. She’s a hick with an awful dye job.

Knoxville. Population about 175k. Affordable living. Access to plenty of outdoor recreation. Not too far from the overpopulated, overpriced, and sometimes dirty cities to the northeast. So there are a lot of people in Moscow who seem unhappy. Why would you want to be around miserable people, and many of them? Just another bigoted, ignorant hick from Europe. And no I don’t like him either.

I blame myself. I was warned, God knows I was warned not to watch the opening segment with Lisa and Usman. Yet, I knowingly stared into the abyss, and the abyss stared back. Getting the corona virus would have been preferable.

It could be that there are so many Nigerian men who find women like willing Lisa or Angela as perfect targets to gain access and get money.

All they have to do is say a few "Babylove's" (ugh!), and text a few heart emojis, and these women swoon while packing up all their cash into an empty cereal box and mailing it.

As a divorced woman over 50 who has done my share of online dating, I cannot tell you the amount of scammers are out there.  Foreigners who assume that divorced, over 50, but has a job = lonely, looking for one last "twooo love".

As soon as Angela/Lisa respond, they know they caught a live one.

My response when they contact me on Match?  "Hi, thank you so much for writing!  Do you want my bank account #, or will my social security # suffice?"  That usually shuts 'em down right then & there.

Also, think about it:  The David's & the Ed's who should be going for the Angela's and Lisa's think they should get hot Russian/Phillippine girls.  They know those types of girls are way out of their league, which is why they seek them online.

I'm 52.  Reconnected with my high school crush a year after my late husband passed away; he was going through a divorce.  We broke up once for about 4 months (he was going through depression over his new normal w/his kids and I was going through some bereavement stuff with my daughter). Anyway, in between dating he went on Match and said his dates were ridiculous!  Women wanting to have him be a daddy figure to their kids before even meeting them.  My girlfriend (40) had some wild stories too!  I stayed off online dating and just dated the organic way -- met a guy a I played hockey with and dated him in between my high school crush!
