I think Joe missed his wine the most when he was locked up. It seemed like he was finishing off a glass in every scene.

Maybe he's chugging all of the Fabellini inventory that never made it to market.

You could see the little hamster wheel of Tre’s brain spinning trying to figure out whether she could deny having said it.  I’m glad she didn’t so we don’t have to listen to her deny deny deny even in the face of footage showing the opposite.

I was actually hearing it too - only the wheel is off its axis and rusty.

I know this is mostly manufactured drama so I don't take it seriously. I love my sisters in law and none of us would ever have done what Melissa did to Teresa. She should have waited until after the party and privately told Teresa what Danielle said. Tell her if it is true she needs to talk to Margaret before Danielle does. But she needs to bring drama to stay on the show so she brought it up at the party.

EVERYONE at that shop knew they were going to have a scene there. They were trying hard to hide their smiles throughout. Seems like they decided to have an altercation between Margaret and Danielle and see where it went. First the ladies loudly badmouthed Danielle, then Margaret assaulted Danielle and Steve told Danielle to pull her hair. When Danielle told Teresa what Steve said, Teresa backed up her friend (probably without thinking it through). I think Danielle probably took it too far and that surprised them all. I"ll tell you, if Margaret had poured something on my head she would have gotten a lot worse than her hair pulled. But I think it was set up and got out of hand.

Teresa is over Joe and I don't blame her. Joe has been over her for a long time yet he still expected her to have sex with him. Nope. I think it might be better for the girls to have a long distance relationship with him instead of seeing their parents constantly fighting living in the same area.

And, they're going to have many more reunions like this because, you know, they're cheap.

Joe is a pig.  Still no remorse.  Always the victim.

This!  It only took a short while with his girls before complaining about them...no secret who his favorite is, all signs point to Milania...Gabriella seems like the forgotten one to me. She's right smack in the middle and is quiet...not loud and forceful like Melania and Gia.

I did feel a little bad for Teresa when the girls were bonding with Joe...the girls show little to no affection towards Teresa, especially Gia who treats her like crap. Joe is a poor excuse for a father...disrespects his wife, his marriage...never owns his bad behavior or apologizes to his family for all the misery he has brought them. Bravo to Teresa for seeing the light and saying adios to Joe....and for dumping Danielle.

Joe did seem to be pounding back the wine...didn't he have drinking problem, specifically wine, before going to prison? Also...how will he support himself in Italy? His family didn't look like they were "rolling  in the dough"...pretty humble surroundings for a loudmouth used to living in a McMansion back in Jersey.

Hi Mr. Miner

giphy.gif

Nice to see you too. I've been watching NJ - but I usually catch it a few days after it airs. Yesterday was the exception as I was having trouble streaming other shows I normally watch.

As for the Teresa "do it do it" comment - now we know why Teresa left the store with Danielle and continued to defend her. By sticking close to Danielle and remaining friends with her - she didn't think Danielle would ever reveal that info. She didn't think the producers had that footage or sound and if they did - she didn't think they'd air it.

I think Melissa thought it was a lie and how far Danielle would go to save her own ass and throw an innocent person under the bus ... No one thought it was true and so that's why i think she thought it was ok to say like see she isnt your friend she tried to blame this on you .... when Tre admitted it was True is when everyone lost their shit lol ad STILL tried to blame Danielle

Dolores is the best I decided lol. She seems real to everything.

Agreed. I may not always like her but she is the most authentic and true to herself, and that I love. She's beautiful in  the shots where she's not wearing tons of makeup.

Watching Tre when she was called out by Melissa was everything. You could really see her little brain working overtime. Best clip of the whole season.

Also agree with posters above that the trip to Italy should have been a separate episode. I wanted to languish in Tre's discomfort.

All the Guidice girls are beautiful. Milania has really come into her own and was stunning last night. So sad for all of them.

I suspect that Tre got pissed and flipped the bird to the crew because she found out there was tape of her telling Danielle to pull Margaret's hair.  That way she couldn't just deny or play dumb. I feel for Margaret, I think she was blindsided.

As for the trip to Italy, Bravo must have had a hard on for a reunion that they did it in the fall when theer are almost no days off from school. I'm guessing the footed the bill for everything.  I'm sure the kids were aching to go, but an 8 hour plane trip each way for a 3 day trip. That's harsh.

I am no fan of Tre, but I felt awkward for her basically telling Juicy it was over on camera. And having to shove him out the door that night. But as bad  as I feel for the kids, it's stunning that both Tre and Juicy, Juicy in particular have not owned up to what they did. At least Tre doesn't seem to be in denial about Juicy cheating anymore.

I was so thrilled to see those girls hug their dad. What a beautiful moment.

And I give Tre and Joe a lot of credit in one area: Whatever their feelings are towards each other, and I'm sure they are complicated, they put their children first. No temper tantrums, no drama, nothing but love in front of those kids. If I was in Tre's shoes, I'm not sure I could have even gone to see Joe. But she knew her girls wanted the whole family together, so she put her own resentment aside.

Joe has learned nothing, that much is clear. But he did his time. I don't believe he needs or deserves any further punishment. He clearly loves his kids, and I do think he's a good father.

I saw Joe (can't call him Juicy anymore, he's too skinny) give some half-hearted attempts at being cozy with Tre. But it was so forced and mechanical, no wonder she brushed him off. The cards are all on the table. It's over. It's sad, but there's no way to go back after so much hurt and deceit.

Party of one: I loved the Italy trip. I didn't need any more of the other Ho's. Give me the Amalfi Coast any day over petty drama at the Jersey shore.

Given the tepid reaction from everyone, including Marge who was the literally injured party, I do believe the boutique scene was producer-driven and a setup and ALL the women were in on it. I believe the same still about the Envy fashion show and stripper-gate. Mel just hadn't learned at that point that going against Tre full force wouldn't work. This time, she did her job, dropped the info and watched the fireworks, but quickly retreated to her sister-in-law's corner. Why? They all knew what was going down, and Tre isn't getting fired for this, so better to stay on the side of the OG star whose coattails she's been clawing at since season 3.

All in all, I still like this cast and hope they're all back next season. I'd love to dump Mel, but JoeGo is Andy's boy and that keeps her lame ass on the show.

They're not rolling in dough by any means, but I'd take a shack in Italy any day over a NJ McMansion, a Manhattan penthouse, or a waterfront mansion in LA.

And let's be real - after 4 years in prison and months in ICE, a tenement in Camden would likely seem like paradise to Joe Giudice.

I don't think Joe was ever as materialistic as Tre. I'm sure he liked to spend without worry and have nice cars, but I strongly suspect he spent the way he spent to shut up Tre. Something tells me the hills of Italy are more his speed than the congested NJ freeways. If not for his daughters, he likely would have happily gone straight back to Italy with no fight once his prison sentence was up.

I’m surprised she announced it in front of everyone....is she “Team Margaret”?? lol not very “sister in law” of Melissa. Brother Joe might need to get involved lol like he always does with Teresa and Melissa’s “relationship” lol

It felt to me like Melissa was happy to reveal Teresa for who she is.  They still hate each other, you can see that a mile away.  They get along for the sake of the show, and for JoGorga but I am sure Melissa knew she did it and was thrilled to put it out there.

eresa was not the mastermind of this plan. Joe, on the other hand, has a history of fraudulent documentation - i.e. not getting his citizenship papers, and trying to use his brother's ID when he had a DUI.

I never said that nor do I believe that. I believe, instead of having tough conversations with his wife about her ridiculous spending, Joe took a stupid, illegal path of least resistance and just took any possible route to make more money so he didn't have to argue. It's immature behavior, but my point was that I don't think Joe will have a tough time adjusting to a less lavish lifestyle in Italy in any other way than missing his daughters.

As for his citizenship, that's his responsibility and I never stated otherwise.

We do not see this situation in similar lights so let's agree to disagree.

I never said you said anything.

From what I understand there were multiple loans applied for using fraudulent docs. All done before the first season of RHNJ.

While I do believe Joe was knocked down a few pegs serving 4 years - I can still see him scheming and taking short cuts in his future. A humbled non materialistic man would not be buying 40 boxes of truffles at a fancy touristy store on the Amalfi Coast,

FTR, I think they were both materialistic, it just manifested in different ways. For Tre it was stuff. For Joe, it was being a big man, flashing the $$$, buying drinks for everyone, etc. He also though he was super smart because he was gaming the system. Each of them was getting some kind of gratfication from it, one was not better or worse than the other.

As we heard Tre say that they had to walk up all those steps because you cannot drive up to Joe's house...in the background we saw cars parked near by so obviously you can drive to Joe's Italian Villa.

Neither Tre nor Joe apologized to the kids for their crimes that got them to wear they are now.

When they were shopping Joe pointed out some jewelry in a case to Tre and asked if she liked any of it, she said no and wrinkled up her nose, (I am guess she would be the one that would  have to pay for it), if this was a few seasons ago, Tre would have left that store with a lot of merch but she is done with Joe and wants nothing from him.

When you wear an ugly Gucci sweatshirt in Italy it looks like a knock off and you look like a tourist.

So 19 year old Gia going on 35 has a Talking Head? No, please. Stop that, BRAVO! I don't need to hear her words of wisdom.

I'm glad Tre is over Joe. I'm glad she brought up his drinking too much wine again on camera. Most of all, I'm glad she didn't sleep with him. Maybe this is the last we will ever see of him since they have "officially" broken up now.

I don't know.  That looked like business class rather than first class.  Still, it is an expense but I'm guessing it was production's bill to pay.

If Joe truly has to walk up that hill on a regular basis it is little wonder that he looked so thin!  Under that circumstance it would be easy to burn off Tio Antonio's cavatelli.

Considering how much Joe's daughter's appear to love and miss him he has to have some redeeming qualities that I miss.

The entire Danielle/Marge/Teresa hair pulling thing comes off too artificial to me.  If someone were to say they saw the three of them huddled together, either alone or with production, I would not be at all surprised.

I was listening to an episode of the Bitchsesh podcast a couple of weeks ago. Casey Wilson was saying she has heard that Marge can be a bit much dealing with production while Teresa is a sweetheart.  I can see it.

I felt everything from Melissa's meeting with Danielle and after was staged. Melissa seemed to be acting the entire time, and so did Margaret and Teresa. I don't know how it all happened, but Melissa had definitely practiced all that. It was super strange how she met Danielle right before the party (WHY?) and then as soon as she entered, everyone gathered around her in a circle to hear how it went. Who cares? Why did she meet with her anyway? It seemed very fake to me.

The part with Teresa and Joe seemed very real. Italy seems beautiful, and Joe seems happy to be there. Now that he is so thin, he looks a lot like the youngest daughter. I want to live in Italy. What a great place.

I cannot, cannot, canNOT believe they are blaming Danielle for selling out Teresa.  This makes me sick.

Remember that old saying, “If you stop lying about me, I’ll stop telling the truth about you”?  She told the truth about Teresa’s actions, which were on film, with audio, and it’s my opinion that footage was going to come out anyway, which, yes, causes me to believe the whole meeting and everyone gathering around was a set-up.

Now they are all circling the wagons, wishing Danielle the best, but saying she’s just not their kind of people.  And Teresa is standing there with a smoking gun that everyone is just sweeping under the rug?  Holy.  Shit.

Now I’m doubting everything.  If Margaret was in on it, she’s a crazy bitch too.  The Melissa meeting is now starting to smell funny.  They all sound so phony in that video, as if Danielle was making Teresa toxic, and now they’ve finally exorcised the bitch.  Good luck with that one, guys.  Sleep with one eye open.

They’re making Danielle the scapegoat again, which in some ways actually proves her right!

They’re all such fame-hungry, money-grubbing weasels, and I could only stomach half that video.  This is the antithesis of people being held accountable for their choices.  Teresa was drinking and told Danielle to pull Margaret’s hair, and anyone who tries to make excuses for her is showing really poor character.

I read that Andy just really mucked up the Below Deck reunion.  I don’t have good feelings about this one now either.

I would agree with this 100%, except that he really does seem to like his designer labels, just as much as Tre and the girls.

I think he was wearing Gucci sneakers, during those scenes in Italy.  I don't think they are that much cheaper in Italy than they are in the U.S.   I've also seen him wearing Burberry and other designer logo'd apparel.  (Speaking of Burberry, I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED that Burberry shawl that Gia was wearing!!!)

So, while I'm sure he may not have been as materialistic as Teresa in the early seasons of the show, I think he learned to like and want the higher-end stuff as time went by, and still appears to like it.

I do agree that if it wasn't for the girls, he would have been happy to just go to Italy and not pay thousands and thousands in legal fees to stay in the U.S.  Seeing him there, he just seems happier and more "at ease" - he seemed less angry.  Joe always seemed so angry and bitter to me-even before all the legal stuff happened.  He never seemed to be a happy guy.

Another thing, and this is just my opinion, I'm thinking that he was "hiding" money in Italy somehow.  Whether it was in bank accounts with his family, or something else, I think he has a nice little bankroll there to live on, and he's perfectly fine with it (and, will be perfectly fine with NOT sharing it with Teresa!)

"I hope they don't use this." LOL What did Teresa expect, that she's the queen of Jersey and they would edit her accordingly?

I agree with everyone who's said that they should've had the reunion with Joe be a separate/special episode.

It was great seeing how happy the girls were reunited with their dad. I don't understand why they couldn't miss a few extra days of school to stay in Italy for a bit longer, considering the circumstances. Teresa couldn't be less interested in Joe.

To be fair to Tre, I don't think they were going to use that footage until Bev spilled the beans. There was something missing from the confrontation though. She was aware she was filmed egging Bev on, but we didn't really see what led up to her flipping off the camera and stalking off. Someone must have said something that wasn't aired. Her actions probably made production even more willing to air her transgression.

Margaret is the most to blame by assaulting Danielle first, then Danielle is to blame for actually pulling the hair, then Steve is to blame for suggesting she pull the hair and then they can blame Teresa for agreeing with Steve. So they should all be mad at Margaret for starting it and should be mad at Danielle & Steve before Teresa, he had the idea to pull the hair and Danielle brought it up to Teresa. Teresa didn't suggest it, she just agreed to it. I don't get why they are all letting Margaret get away with her actions. I guess because they all hate Danielle.

I wonder if they have footage of one of them suggesting to Margaret to dump her drink on Danielle and another saying "do it", will they all be mad at that person? I doubt it.

Rumor has it that Danielle got physical with Marge first, we just didn’t see it. She actually said last night on WWHL that Danielle has gotten up in her face and chest bumped her twice before the water was poured on her.  I had actually read about that previously as well and I tend to believe it.

Technically, it was business class. Looks like they flew on Air Italy (which funny enough went belly up a few weeks ago), which doesn't have first class, as is true for most airlines these days.

I fly coach, a lot...would Melissa say that I am winning? LOL!.  I fly first on occasion and it is a nice way to travel, not gonna lie!

I do remember a time that children (under 18 years old), were not allowed to fly in first, these kids are going to be so jaded about experiencing little luxuries in life.

I would very much like to know the real story.  When Theresa is on the phone with Danielle, it is obviously voiced over when Tre "breaks up" with her.  Then it happens again, and then after she talks with Marge and Marge comes back in and tells everyone Tre said she was done with Danielle, again, it's voiced over.  Every time, it cuts away from their mouths and it's obvious it's voiced over.  Is Tre still friends with her?

I wouldn't wear Gucci anywhere, but why is it more crass to wear it in Italy?  Is it considered crass to wear designers of the country you're in?  Like I shouldn't wear Ralph Lauren here in the US or Chanel in France?

Isn’t Gia 18?  She’s probably getting paid for her appearances on the show, and if she is 18, it’s her business how she spends her own money.  I probably would have splurged on something fancy and designer at her age if I’d had the means.  As it was, I was blowing my measly retail paychecks on clothes, purses and shoes before I had real responsibilities.

Also, yes, they could be the good “knock offs,” too.

They are also close enough to NYC to go to Canal St. the open secret Mecca of knock offs. Many years ago I got a large Chanel tote to carry some books/notebooks for college and my father was relentless about it, "you're going to walk around community college with "designer" bag and get robbed and when they find out there's $20 in it and its fake they may go find you again for not being worth the hassle." I got my roast powers from him. I told him about Joe Giudice's "it was a bogus crime" and now he wants to see it for himself... he has some interest in the show as an Italian seeing the worst of our kind stereotyping it up without actually having to interact with them. He often asks about the state of Gorga's hair.

I don't believe Danielle's "struggle" about supporting her and the girls. I believe her Ex fought paying an outrageous level of support but I don't believe left his kids high and dry without money. Notice Danielle talked about selling jewelry but not actually working. She had a giant house and nice car in season 1. Did she ever live in a moderate house after the divorce? I don't think she worked in season 1 but I could be wrong. In the episode of Christine's sweet 16 she was mad at her Ex for going to see if Jillian ok when she was nervous about singing and Danielle was on a rant that Jillian likes her space and he would know that if he spent more time with her (ah some people can't fight a parental instinct to comfort their kid even if they want space) not "he left us destitute but now is checking on her."  Having said that Danielle's gripe about Melissa and Joe using her is spot on but users turn on users by default all the time, it's what users do. Danielle would too. I laughed that Danielle called the store owner a great guy but then slammed Melissa's only accomplishment being opening a boutique.... like that Steve guy.

There have been a few spats here and there but Melissa has sure fallen in line since Andy wouldn't film that year Teresa was away. Melissa of old would be relentless about Teresa's involvement. I think that year sent a message for the future HWs too. Jackie came on aiming at Teresa but Jennifer in the end is the feud she seems to be sticking with. Granted Jennifer makes it easy because she's obsessed with Jackie's money/spending. I'm surprised Joe Gorga didn't do an aftershow for this one. It's not like he could have been doing something else.
