I don't know who the guest is, but hopefully he's there for the rest of the show, lol. I love him.

Rahm Emmanuel...former mayor of Chicago & Clinton White House Aide...he had a lot of sensible things to say.

Obama's Chief of Staff too.  ETA:  I live in Chicago everyone hates the mayor, no matter who he or she is .  I liked Rahm, he cared for the city and I was sad when he said he wasn't going to run again.

ETA (again) fun fact - his brother is who the Jeremy Piven character on Entourage is based on.

I was pissed that nobody corrected Meggy when she threw out the right wing talking point about Bernie honeymooning in the Soviet Union.  He was the mayor of Burlington at the time, and he and his new wife traveled to the Soviet Union as part of a cultural exchange between cities.

You mean no other panelist defended Bernie with the truth?  I am clutching my pearls!  😉

When Meghan mentioned that Chris Matthews equated Bernie's win with France and Nazis, the camera panned to Joy who was laughing at it. I get that they hate Bernie, but I thought that they'd at least blast Matthews for that considering Bernie lost family during the holocaust. It was a strange thing to see.

To MM...we are talking about Russian interference re: trump because it’s your party that refuses to enact legislation to try to stop foreign interference and your president who encourages and isn’t bothered by the Russian interference.  I’m guessing bernies not so happy.

And her hair looks awful...who thought two colors of bleached yellow hair would be a good idea?

For someone who gets personally offended and who berates anyone who dares make a peep when she's talking, MeAgain sure has no problem interrupting and talking over anyone else who's trying to make a point.   Why don't they give her a dose of her own damn medicine????   I'm talking and it's your job to listen to me!   I'm only 10 minutes in the DVR and I'm ready to put my fist through the television and slap her silly.   I think I'll just delete the rest; I can't take it.

https://www.mediaite.com/tv/joy-behar-claims-she-was-never-all-in-on-bernie-after-meghan-mccains-reminder-she-named-her-dog-after-him/

MeAgain was really surly today (I know, I know).  When they walked out she looked mad, and Whoopi didn't look too happy either so I was hoping they had a fight in their morning meeting.😆

MeAgain was really going after Joy, a lot.  In addition to the dog's name stuff, Joy said something about Trump being as excited by Russians and porn stars as he was by Bernie winning, and then MeAgain muttered over her something about her logic.

Rahm was really horsing around with Joy during that interview.  RE was on that This Week episode where MeAgain sounded ridiculous, along with Chris Christie.  You could tell they both thought she was an idiot, but tolerated her.  So I guess she thinks she in their club.  At the end of the interview Whoopi invited him to come back and co-host, which he said he would do.  Then MeAgain started shrieking that Chris Christie promised to come back but didn't and she kept shrieking about it even though no one paid her any attention.

There was another point where Joy was talking, I think on a fluff topic, and MeAgain interrupted to make some other point, and she repeated it but  the panel ignored her, and Joy carried on.  We couldn't really hear what she said because of MeAgain.  MeAgain was being ignored by her co-hosts so she did that thing where she is looking to the producers, the audience, anywhere that she shouldn't be.

Whoopi called MeAgain "baby" again, and at a point where it seemed she was actually annoyed by her. I am starting think that when she calls her baby, she really means it, and that it is not a term of endearment, like MeAgain thinks it is.

I love this guy - and it's not because we share the same birthday (November 29) , though he's a few years older than I am. LOL! He's very smart and personable. I wish some cable channel would offer him his own show - he can hold his own, and is camera-friendly.

BTW, he's 60 years old and gets better looking and sexier as he ages. He's really like 'fine wine'.

Oh dear Joys eye makeup is terrible. Megan’s in fine so not same makeup person?
It was unkind to tell Sunny that color was ok also.  I love green even shades of that green but it’s awful.

I really enjoyed Rahm Emanuel also.

I wonder how View your deal pans out since they are available online since this morning and usually only last 24 hours.

I know I really to needed  Whoopi to elaborate with visuals about needing to pee.

I didn’t understand one word of what Joy or Megan was saying when she was talking over her.  Very weird end of the show.

I wasn't watching the View in 2016 but I read these boards and I seem to remember Joy being a Bernie supporter. And now she says she really wasn't and was only joking around because she knew Hillary was going to win. I don't believe that.  I don't know what has happened to her over the past year but this isn't the Joy I have known and loved for the past 20 years.

Whoopi, Joy and Sunny all looked absolutely horrified that Bernie won Nevada. I don't know how this is a surprise to them.  Did they forget how well he did in 2016?

I found it so interesting that Sunny mentioned she was talking to Meghan over the weekend.  These two go from ignoring each other's existence to kissing cousins.  I just don't get it.  Sunny is looking more and more like a phony to me.  Instead of refusing to turn her head toward MeAgain or answering her directly, which we all witnessed (for a second time) for over a month after the holidays, she now turns to her each time she makes a comment waiting for MeAgain's response.

MeAgain also commenting last week about what a lovely man Manny is was so strange.  She mumbled something about when they go out.  I thought their days of socializing were over.

Joy is definitely off her game these days.  Whoopi is just Whoopi and will never change.  This show is really going down the drain in more ways than one.  It's become so uncomfortable to watch and I blame production for that.  They all seem to be phoning it in.

Can't believe Rod Blagojevich is a guest today.  They just keep going lower and lower.

I hope they don't talk to Kevin about politics. He tried to run for the Conservatives here and had a lot of scandals with the way he backed out of it (once he realized that he'll lose) and what he did with the money he gained from donations.

Obama said Castro did some good things too. The ladies and their double standard. Bernie said that Castro did some good things not that he's a good person. Meghan said that Trump did good things, even though he's a walking timbit.

Joy said that Americans don't understand nuance, so even though what he said wasn't wrong he's going to get bashed. Cue in Whoopi showing that nuance means nothing.

But I guess, they need to do whatever to make sure Bernie doesn't win so they can continue to bash him.

McCain was right that the Democratic Party was supposed to be better than the Republican Party, as far as Trump's love of dictators, and that Bernie is now making them equal. I'm glad that Joy opened the show criticizing Bernie, so I know where her heart is when she tried to be fair to him later in the topic. Still, I'm glad Whoopi intervened and said there's no way around this because there isn't.

But Joy understood that he said that the literacy programs were good, even though it was a dictatorship.

The ladies have praised horrible people numerous times, some who I consider war criminals so I find it odd that if Bernie does something that someone they like did they'll bash him. The double standard sticks out.

Was Megs this screechy about DT cozying up to dictators?   Maybe she was; I honestly don't remember.   I seriously ask this question.   Because she sure worked herself up into a lather about Castro.   It would be nice to know that she had thrown the same hissy fits over Putin and Kim Jung Un.   The three of them were/are despicable leaders, so I hope her wrath was evenly distributed.

Of course not. And Joy pointed that out, which lead McCain to say that these past four years the Left has been trying to make a point that they are better than the Republicans on the subject and yet here Bernie is praising Fidel Castro.

We all know McCain doesn't really care about any of this. For her, this is only an opportunity to attack and smear all Democrats. The fact that her criticisms may happen to be correct this time--or any other time--is merely coincidence, not a sign that she cares about anything or that she has any scruples on the given subject.

When she said that, I'm shouting, Since when are the Democrats supposed to be the police force for the Republican???    If the R's want to be better about this, then they should just BE better.   So it's okay with Meggie if her party kisses up to evil world leaders, but when a D says something "nice" about one, she's all up in arms that they're not "better than this".  She is the most UNself-aware person I've ever seen.

Joy is right in that Americans don't understand nuance. I don't think Bernie should have made those comments but I understand what he was saying.  The ladies just hate Bernie and will seize upon anything to bash him.  Whoopie is an idiot and  she has no idea what she is talking about. Bernie praising Castro's literacy program is not the same thing as the events of Charlottesville.  Megan had some nerve accusing Joy of whataboutism.  I could talk about the history of Cuba and why Castro came into power but it would be off-topic.

Yes it's the hypocrisy.  And let's not forget Castro is dead. The dictators Trump admires are still in power.  And Bernie thought Castro's literacy program was a good thing. Not all the bad things Castro did.  But as mentioned above nobody will pay attention to the details. All they will hear is Bernie likes Castro.

I don't watch Shark Tank. Only seen it a handful of times. I didn't really like any of them, but Barbara was probably the nicest to me. McCain of course was enraged by her. Finding out it was because Barbara said that Ritchie Rich types will never be successful made me burst out laughing. McCain can't stand it when she gets clocked, even if it's by someone making a random comment on an entertainment show.

Those four women all have their beliefs and that is fine but they do need someone who will be more open to something different.  I would like to see someone who is undecided. Someone who is more independent minded.   Because if things continue the way they have been nobody on that panel is going to be able to muster up any enthusiasm.

Funny thing, I have Dish and the information page for this show still lists Michelle Collins as a co-host. Maybe they could give her another chance. I thought she was entertaining and probably not entirely predictable.  Unlike 11/2020.

Here in Canada, Kevin tried to run to be the leader of the Conservative Party. He wasn't doing too hot in Quebec, so he dropped out with a two million debt. Then tried to sue Elections Canada who wouldn't allow him to pay it back with his own money...basically, he spent more than he got in donations then complained about the rules here. After he dropped out, he backed a fringe candidate to lead the party, only no one wanted him too. That person ended up creating his own party, only for it to flop tremendously in our last election.

So when Sunny asked them the Bloomberg question, I found it funny considering how Kevin tried something similar to that here in Canada and it failed miserably.

They are both politics wonks.  O'Leary actually ran for Prime minister of Canada, and Cuban has discussed running for President.

And MM, from what I could google Barbara didn’t say rich kids can’t be successful.  She was asked about her investments and she said she’d rather invest in a poor kid who’s had to fight his/her way up and has had struggles whereas rich kids generally have the advantages of getting into the best schools, getting the right internships (because they have contacts), have an easier time getting good jobs..again, contacts and name recognition.  So she basically described MM and MM didn’t like it because then she’d have to admit that perhaps this job and others wouldn’t have gone to her without her name. Boo hoo!
