Aaron Wallace's fight to overturn his conviction to a life sentence continues. Tensions rise between Aaron and his crew when he provides counsel to a white supremacist in order to repay his debt to inmate Wild Bill. District Attorney Maskins ups his game when Aaron sues the NYPD in an attempt to gain access to his case file. Meanwhile, his daughter's boyfriend, Ronnie, braces for confrontation as he visits the prison to meet Aaron for the first time.

I'm enjoying this, but the warden seems waaaayyyy to invested in Aaron to be believable.  I don't doubt that there are some reform minded wardens who would support an inmate doing this type of thing, but her involvement seems way over the top.

I think she has her own agenda, and is keeping it hidden from everyone.  I was rather surprised at the meeting at the end.  From an inmate's viewpoint, the worst possible thing the correctional staff can do is have a private conversation with you in front of all the other inmates.  That just screams 'snitch', and you won't be trusted by anyone again. Anything that happens, related or not, will be blamed on you.

Is it just me or does Aaron sound like he's doing a constant spot on impression of Denzel Washington.

I think it’s more the physical stuff he’s doing like the slightly hunched walk with his arms in front of his body

IMO, he's over doing a NY accent.  Is or was this guy a New Yorker?

When I saw the first promo he reminded me of Walt (Clyde) Frazier New York Knicks Hall of Fame guard.

Wiki makes him yet another English actor coming over the pond to play an American.

The real guy grew up in North Carolina  but moved to New Jersey when he was 21. I thought it sounded southern at times but I don't think it's meant to be.
