The spacewalk was basically dumb.  Oh, look the captain fumbles through space and needs help, and Billie gets none of the credit.

Let's rename the Avenue 5 the SS Skidmark, what with all the crap staining the outer hull, and floating around outside the ship.

The bit with the stand up comic was just brutal.  This ship has been in space for over 90 days, yet he has never performed even once before ?  Seriously ?

Even dumber -- going on with the halfway home party.

Judd needs to be upgraded from orbiting with the coffins, to orbiting with the coffins in the shit cloud surrounding the ship.

The White House was moved to Buffalo ?  I wonder why.

I just found this show last week and binged the episodes, then watched this one last night.

I love this show! I have never seen Veep or any other show from the same makers, so I am coming to this show with no expectations. I'm a huge fan of Hugh Laurie (back to Black Adder and A Bit of Fry and Laurie days) so he kind of made the decision for me.

I think the absurdity of everything is what makes it so funny. The last shot of the ep, with the ship and its ring of shit and coffins was great.

My favorite character so far is Matt - again, the absurdity of his performance I love. He's the complete opposite of a company man, just saying exactly what he's thinking.

I think either you buy into it or don't. If you don't, it's trivial to unravel the show into nothing because it's patently ridiculous. I do buy into it. I think it's one extended Airplane! gag. The jokes themselves aren't funny per se, but the people are essentially the jokes.

I really do like Laurie/Billie. They are playing off one another really well. She couldn't have been surprised the captain was getting the credit.

The standup comic was actually performing in another episode but the crowd was thin and then they freaked out when the body parts were floating by.

"Evendumber" may as well be Judd's middle name.   It’s exactly what you’d expect from him.  I would say it's like having a two-year-old in charge...but I don’t want to insult two-year-olds.

The Captain has been voted out of his marriage by 2 to 1.

Turns out I was wrong about how such a marriage works.  I thought he had married both of them; but, I didn’t realize that both of them had also married each other.

The Captain is being “trivorced”. Probably would make an interesting reality series.

It’s all about status.  To the passengers Billie is just a nondescript workerbee, doing whatever it is workerbees do…in other words, no one special.

The Captain is a two-time hero who just saved them. 'Mr. Noodle's Brother' is a former astronaut who just helped save them.  Even the, haven’t got a clue, bridge crew got more play…because the passengers see them as the ones whose skills during the crisis helped save them.

Have you ever stood at a stage door to get an autograph?  Well, no one ever rushes a stagehand.

There was the "thruple" on SWAT- a man and woman were going to get married, invited Chris to be a third in the relationship.  On HOUSE HUNTERS of all things, an actual thruple- since marriage is legal only between 2 people, a man and woman married, then they had a commitment ceremony with the 3rd person.

When three people are involved, and only two of them can legally marry, I can see all this “pomp and circumstance” on behalf of the third person.

Otherwise, I don't see what a commitment ceremony results in.
