Re-watched this and liked it a lot  better after the 2nd viewing leven though I did like it the first time.   It’s funny after everyone not liking the kids I wonder if anyone actually has a multiple amount of young children.  My brother had three kids under five  at home and they get loud destructive and crazy.   Kids are shrieking devil spawn and tv has a tendency to portray them as little adults who say their lines on their spots and then walk off the set until they are needed on cute again.    I like this version of them who excitingly talk over each other and vie for mother’s attention.

That’s actually a fair point. I’m child-free and I hate the chaos of these kids. Then again, I was also raised in a household that was pretty much run by Emily Post. Address adults by titles (never by first names), never interrupt adult conversations unless someone is bleeding, don’t speak unless spoken to - the whole shebang. Don’t get me wrong: my parents are great. I just don’t have any patience for “forward” children, whether they’re on tv or on my sofa.

Has anyone figured out what the numbers in the episode titles mean?  Or is that to be revealed in a future season (which I won't see because I refuse to get entangled in the morass of streaming services)?

I really thought that was going to the tree Odin was hung from - Yggdrasil.

Which I guess is "basically the basis" Jesus crucifix story.

I thought the foundation of Christianity was centuries before that of the Norse religion? My understanding is that it doesn't extend centuries or millennia before the Common Era the way Greek and Celtic mythologies do.

You might be right, I've read different accounts claiming both to be older. I will always be suspicious of Christianity given it's devotion to overtaking cultures and older religions. But I am not a theologian.
