I was talking specifically about Gia.  Her jeans looked like they’re painted on, and she was wearing a very tight white top to go to the dress-shoppping, and it looked bad to me.  It looked like she was desperate to show off every last curve on a shopping outing, as opposed to the beach.  I don’t get it.  I think if she really wants to wear tight jeans, then wear a flowing top.  A form-fitting sweater and a skirt would also look nice to me.  That’s just the way I prefer it.  If she were my child, I would let her dress that way if that’s how she wanted to express herself, but I don’t like the way it looks.

I also think it looks tacky and desperate for a woman with large breasts to wear an outfit that a woman who is an A-cup can wear easily. Dina talked about how she was embarrassed to wear tight tops around her daughter in season one.  I think ginormous cleavage should be covered, except for special occasions, and when a lot of tape is available.  These are all just my aesthetic preferences.  I’m not taking a moral stand about it.  

In her Destiny’s Child days, Beyoncé said that it’s ok to show off your midsection, breasts and legs, but never all at once, and I agree with her.  

As a curvy women with a small waist, when I was younger, I always wore fitted clothing. It looks better to define the breasts and waist if you are curvy in the bottom and legs. That’s my preference.

Exactly...Joe is just a thuggy grifter and law breaker. He continuously flaunted the law. Poor Gia isn't at the point where she has anger at her father for putting his grift, illegal activities and decision not to become a U.S. citizen (which he blamed on Teresa no less!). At some point she will have some clarity and see that her daddy was just a selfish person that put greed ahead of his family.

I agree with that statement.  For instance, I love this silhouette:

You can actually see the outline of Teresa’s vulva there, which is more than I need to see ever!  The one who looks the best to me is Milania, because her top is not so tight.  Gia’s outfit is completely unappealing to me.  She looks uncomfortable, and the outfit looks like it’s going to burst.  And those shoes need to be taken out back and shot.

I find a lot of tight-fitting clothing to be comfortable, especially jeans like Gia's wearing, which most likely are stretchy (though my favorite is tight-to-the-knee big bell-bottoms).

I get what some are saying. There’s a difference between fitted and tight.

So I’m guessing Teresa was always materialistic...I just wonder if family members put the notion of the pre-nup in Joe’s mind.  Joe just seems too “Bluto” to think about a pre-nup.

I agree, but they seem to still be in love with each other and she's still (oddly) so dependent on him. Imo, it's weird and dysfunctional, but love makes you do weird and dysfunctional things, sometimes. 

Imo, she has more chemistry with Frank than she does with her boyfriend. Hell, I think Frank and the boyfriend have more chemistry than Delores and her boyfriend (can't remember his name, and don't care enough to look it up).

I feel bad for Gia. I can’t help it. I think she’s been a little adult since way before the wheels even came off. My feeling is that Teressa did that thing that happens in unhappy marriages some time where one kid (often the oldest) is designated as the adult like companion because mom or dad is so unhappy and lonely in the marriage. My guess is Teresa has always wanted Gia to be her friend that takes her side and because of that shares WAY too much about her marriage to the poor kid’s father. Plus Joe has never had a filter and I’m sure has spouted off all manner of hurtful shit in front of the girls, being the oldest I’m sure she’s heard the most. Plus, more than siding with Joe, I think she’s just doing a classic teenage thing of punishing the parent that is available. She was pretty much the same way during the season when Teresa was in jail. She was mad at Joe all the time and just wanted her mom. I think she’s just an angry kid who’s smart enough to see that her parents made a lot of bad choices that she and her sisters have to live with. I’m glad she’s going to go live on campus at school next year (assuming the world still exists. Can you imagine having to Shelter in Place at their home?). She needs a break from her parents drama.

I agree.  They’ve always treated Gia this way.  In season one, Gia was, at most, seven, and they went to a restaurant and Joe told Teresa she could buy “bubbies,” and Gia wasn’t even paying attention; she was doing something age-appropriate, like coloring, and Joe called her attention to it and was like, “hey Gia!  Your mom’s gonna get bubbies.  Whaddya think about that?” 
I agree that it probably got a lot worse as she got older and the situation got more dire, but it’s always been there.  Gia is still too caustic for my taste and I don’t think she’s justified in her freak outs, but she’s had a lot to bear.  I too am so glad she’s getting out of that toxic house.  I don’t think she’s happy.  Maybe if she gets away from her family, she’ll be happy.

The guys watching Danielle's porn together was very gross. This isn't a random porn star, but a woman in your social circle, and this stuff was in her past. I'm not a fan of Danielle at all, but I was still disturbed by that.

Seriously at this point if Danielle really did have dirt on Teresa, Melissa, Delores, etc...just say it, tell us everything because it's not like she has anything to lose, she is off the show, not in their social circles AND nobody likes her...just tell us and get on with your life.
