They don't want her because their audience hates her dad. They would never allow anybody there to praise her daddy ad nauseum like they do on the View.  Plus, Megan wants to be on a major network like ABC, she craves attention above all else.

I am not going to give Hallmark Channel a pat on the back for seeing the error of their ways.  Some people threatened to boycott them if they continued to air that ad. An even bigger group of people threatened to boycott if they didn't continue to air the ad.  Hallmark realized there are more people outraged over the initial outrage.  All they care about is money.

Loved the smackdown.   Well deserved.   I need Sunny to point out to MM that comparing what Rashida Talib said to Mitch McConnell is irresponsible and does a disservice to viewers.   Just shutting down a conversation with both sides do it,  does nothing to help me understand the 50% she supposedly represents.  Explain why a McConnell might take the position that he did (even if she doesn't agree).   

Plus anyone who's ever seen MM on This Week knows that she is not a (good) political analyst.   The real political analysts on that show really highlight what a light weight she is.

Here's the clip in question. I don't get why Meghan doesn't understand that pushback about topics isn't personally directed at her and she doesn't need to talk over people to repeat that she's a political analyst here to give a conservative point of view. WE KNOW.

Robert De Niro is so different on a talk show than he used to be.  He used to be the worst guest, and it was next to impossible for the host to get him to utter more than a few words per question.  It was agony to watch, too.  He still doesn't do talk shows that often, but now he's relaxed, engaging, and downright chatty.

He never would have said, "Can I say just one more thing?" It's so good to see how relaxed and comfortable he is now!

Curious - how often is she on?

Meghan's tweet, for all her supposed authority, and imaginary influence on the topic, is factually wrong on a few points. 

First, is's not all Democrats and Republicans who need to be impartial jurors; just the senators, so Tlaib doesn't count. 

Second, Republicans are not 50% of the country.  This is from a Gallup poll from 3 months ago (a poll Meghan wouldn't like)  -

See, the reason why I cut Meghan a little more slack than most is because I know the show is set up to make her and Abby the contrarian voices instead of just two women with an opinion. Every topic is set up to dump on Trump/Republicans and Abby and Meghan get to either join in on the dragging or bless his actions as the two conservative ladies on the panel. 
 

Whoopi knows that, but she pretends like the dynamic of the show is fair to Meghan. Meghan might be a bit sassier than Whoopi, Sunny, and Joy would like, but the reality is that’s the show you guys have. If you want honest conversations where both sides get their just due, there are other major changes that need to be made besides Meghan shutting up. But this is pro-wrestling, so play your part, but don’t get mad when someone else plays theirs.
