Kabota March 3, 2022 Share March 3, 2022 (edited) Patricia Bracewell, a writer of historical fiction, is doing a historical accompaniment to the show, episode by episode. It's especially interesting as regards the English interactions and connections with the Danes, Swedes, Normans, and Norwegians: http://www.patriciabracewell.com There's more historical action and detail than I expected tbh. Of course, it's scattered across decades and jumbled all up for dramatic effect. Edited March 3, 2022 by Kabota 2 Link to comment
PatsyandEddie January 28, 2023 Share January 28, 2023 I’m just going to start the first volume of Bracewell’s Emma series. I’m excited for it Olaf was a real person who became a saint for convincing ( killing ) pagans to convert. Check out his wiki page. Link to comment
