It's probably not intentional but there are echoes of Luke and Laura, when she was working for him at the club and married to Scott. Let's hope it doesn't end that way.

It also echoes Franco and Elizabeth. It's so gross.

Seriously. Kill them all, Sidwell! They're too stupid to live.

Which at this point is completely moot. I don't understand why people keep harping on this. IT WON'T EVER HAPPEN. Gah.

If Sam has to die, at least they're not working overtime to ruin the character on her way out.

Yet. There's still time for that.

The one key point about Luke going after Laura? He did it because Bobbie wanted Scotty-but he was married to Laura. So, her scheming self called big brother to break them up so she could have Scotty all to herself.

Didn't quite work out that way, and of course, Luke/Geary wasn't supposed last longer than 13 weeks or so, but the chemistry between him and Genie was hot-cracklin' AMAZING, so of course they'd written themselves into a corner. But, old news, and all that.

I was so NOT surprised to see the 'I don't give a fuck' look on Cujo's face as Sam was urging, no begging her to tell the truth. That heifer really and I mean REALLY needs to suffer SOMETHING that will last longer than a commercial break.

I loved how Lucky just rolled with the punches and didn't let on that he knew Jaysus and Anna. And while those scenes were just horrible, I did giggle and laugh at the honest-because it's true-reason she gave Jenz about how she knew Anna: "She's the EX-wife of MY EX-husband...flew out of the sky....when we were perfectly happy..."

It's true! Robert and Holly were happily married, doing the Nick and Nora thing, and then Felicia came, and the hunt for the treasure...Tony shot, enter...Anna Devane (with her fake-ass scar that Fake!Grant Putnam sussed out immediately), EX-WSB, EX-DVX, and most importantly--EX-WIFE of one Robert Scorpio!

"Be a team player"  I hate that expression so much because in my experience it's said to the person who is right but is being pressured to acceded to something wrong.

I love how classy both Tracy and Stella look, each in their own different way.

It's hard growing old. Either you die, or you don't and everyone you care for does and you lose them. Good convo between Stella and Tracy.

Bad writing, on the other hand, is Ned warning Michael against Drew just before Drew looks for Willow in the boathouse.

Maxie: "You are so right."    Michael: "Kind of a theme with me."  Me: 🤢

Oh look at Jason being all noble and throwing the card game.

The best thing about Anna today was her outfit. Certainly it wasn't telling Holly that regrets breaking up her marriage to Robert, or the kill with Jason.

Holly gets the drop on Sidwell, then looks away and he knocks the gun out of her hands. No wonder she's so unsuccessful in her cons.

Really, Sidwell? The wimmins aren't going to play poker for their lives? Well, now you can die and I won't care. How about we "reset the terms" of this stupid story so it's over and Lucky is in Port Charles tomorrow.

It was good, but I really wish they'd stop having Tracy be so rude just because she's feeling vulnerable. And really, continuing to call Cody her "stablehand"? It's so dismissive.

So depressing to watch Cody confide in a 9-year-old. But great to watch said 9-year-old tell Ned about Willow and Drew kissing.

Lucky rolling his eyes is exactly how I feel about this whole storyline. I will never understand the waste of talent on GH. For some reason, this show manages to get people outside of Daytime to join the show and they write for them the most boring inane crap imaginable.

Well weepy Anna sure knows when to show up. You were with the WSB and a double agent to boot.

And Anna and Jason kissing. I didn't have it on my bingo card, but the way things have been progressing, they were for sure headed there. When you think you're going to die for the millionth time, I guess you'll forgo formalities and kiss your ex's mother.

Drew is crossing into creepy territory real fast. I wish Nina had some self-respect and stopped sleeping with this douche. I'm sure a sex toy can do the job as well as Drew.

And now Ned knows. Just like he knew about Nina committing the crime of reporting Drew and Carly to the SEC. I can't stand James. He's the new Violet who is just as annoying as she always was (minus her scenes with Finn when Gregory died and when he left for rehab).

There was a real missed opportunity with Tracy and Gregory, but can we please have more of Tracy and Stella? Bright spot in an otherwise stupid episode.

In my imagination, I can see tptb making it clear to Finola that it was either Sonny or Jason. There's already too many unattached females on the show. Though it doesn't bode well for Valentin coming back for any length of time.

I just now have to accept NOTHING is sacred when it comes to Frank and his lemmings. NOTHING. Jason would NEVER go there because of ROBIN. As for Anna? Who the fuck knows? She's utterly destroyed as a character. You would think she wouldn't even look at Jason the way she has these past weeks because of ROBIN. He wasn't just Robin's friend. It's all so utterly gross. I don't care how many mothers and daughters Mooby has slept through. Or that Robin is now happily married to someone else.

Hopped on X while the system at work was down, saw Jason and Anna kiss and I feel attacked. Just nasty.

Korte was never the talent in those '90s writers rooms, that's for sure. And I am not so naive as to think she's the only problem in the situation or even the biggest one with Frank and whoever he reports to beyond Nathan right there.

They are doing everything but admit to themselves MB and SB are not where it's at anymore.

I really want Ned to go running to Micheal and tell him. Especially after Warning Micheal about Drew

Jason promised Robin he would never sleep with Carly again; yet he went through with a wedding ceremony and would have slept with Carly if Sonny hadn't appeared back from Nixon Falls. Allies to friends I can believe. But knowing that she recently slept with Valentin and remembering his previous relationship with Robin as well as how much he still respects her now, I just don't believe he would start making out with Anna in a cell. If Anna had initiated the kiss, I would find it more believable. She wasn't in Port Charles to witness Robin and Jason being in love, so there's no memory of it for her, and she's lost all self-respect and dignity long before this moment. Her love and loyalty as a mother to Robin has been questionable IMO dating back to when Robin was pregnant with Emma.

It seems like this is a re-hash of the Jason and Britt storyline (minus the fatal disease fears, and Jason getting shot-so far), but it's not believable this time due to multiple factors.

Lucky and Jason get more full houses and straight flushes than any poker games I've ever played in during 40 years of playing! Lucky should forget about Lulu and go enter the World Series of Poker. Maybe Sidwell should have challenged them to Go Fish or Old Maid.

Is it still a dead man's hand if you have aces and eights in a full house? 🤔

That's a real 'turn the gun on myself' moment for me.

I don't think Finola was forced to be paired with Steve nor would she particularly mind. But I mind!

She's probably very happy with the airtime she's getting by being paired with SBu. I mind Anna being paired romantically with Jason, but I mind anyone being paired romantically with Jason. He's a nothing partner and always makes the women do the heavy lifting.

Agreed. I'm sure Finola is open to it, but Anna wouldn't do it because of Robin and also because of who Jason is IMO, however weak they've too often made Anna over the last decade. But Steve is out of romantic or story options on the show, Finola is there so here we are!

Here's how my brain is dealing with Jason and Anna kissing: it's a "we're actually going to die so might as well kiss" moment or Jason heard someone coming and kissed Anna to try and make some kind of distraction that'll allow them to get whichever guard comes into the cell. I thought I detected Jason's ears perk up as if he heard someone coming.

It's the best I could come up with because I'm trying to work with what they gave us lol

Or, maybe it'll be Laura and Kevin and they'll promise to get them out if they promise to never do that again.

Also, Ned? Hurry, run, tell Michael about Drew and Willow immediately if not sooner. Blow them all up please. Metaphorically speaking.

I'm fairly certain that's at least part of what it is, though Finola's interview about it today suggests there's more to it. Still, this kind of thing isn't done on a soap unless they're playing with a romance option. And Jason and Anna have been thick as thieves for the better part of a year. It is a precursor to more unless they find another option for Steve.

They haven't fucked (yet) but they're definitely necking.

The worst part was that they were interrupted briefly and we thought we at least wouldn't have to see the kiss today -- but then It. Happened.

I wonder how many times they played "Think of Laura" during that lurking phase. 🙂 Not that I would ever complain about Christopher Cross.

Talk about edging! That storyline had middle school me in a chokehold. (And as a side note, even now I really admire TG's acting choices in their reunion scene. They might seem over the top today, but at the time they were extremely naturalistic and felt quite...new.)

That’s what it looked like to me as well. But it’s still utterly GROSS.

But that’s what they all and always do! Brooke was over the moon with Portia’s ILLEGAL, unethical tampering with Heather’s cobalt levels; Tabanya sooo happy that her “MAMA has her back!” I haven’t read Finola’s interview because I HATE this. And no one is EVER allowed to say this is wrong and there will and should be consequences-it’s all “this is SO EXCITING! I LOVE it because blah, blah, blah.”

Ans just because Anna was thought to be “dead” when Robin and Jason were in love doesn’t mean or give her the excuse to eye fuck him and whatever the fuck else she’s been doing.

SAME HERE! I was away at camp, but it was so long in coming my affiliate played the episode two days in a row! So I was able to watch it! That reunion was EVERYTHING!

That’s how I saw it too and I’m not grossed out by them kissing at all (sue me).

Can someone burn those damn playing cards!

Loved the Tracy/Stella convo and their wardrobes - give them more than a damn bench, show!

I find Maxie’s too blond hair washes her out but enjoyed James snitching on Drew/Willow. 🤣

I am sure they are paying SBU a lot of money, comparatively.   How long can he stand around looking constipated while others (mainly Sonny and Carly) rant?  I mean, they have to do something with him.  I think with Rick back and Lucky on his way to Port Charles, they have storylines for Liz.  Carly is juggling Sonny and Brennan. I really don't see who is left.  He's got to do something.  So this doesn't shock me.

I think Sam's death is supposed to open some stories for him. She dies diving for the gun while he destroyed the one Sonny used to commit the murder. There should be conflict and conflicting feelings over the whole thing. Sam is nowhere near as important a character as she was, but her death should send some serious ripples through the canvas and that should include Jason.

I wish we'd see poo cat Sam, shooting Sonny and kicking him in a hole to die.

I mean, for me, the only thing that makes Sam's death worth doing is if we get years of storylines out of it.  And an immediate reset.  Jason HAS to turn against Sonny.  Otherwise, this is just a stupid move.  IMO.  But I like Sam.

I like Sam too and her death should give stories for her mother and sisters, her exes, her current boyfriend, Sonny, Carly and Michael. It should be a no brainer, but the show is good at fizzling things out.
