He talked to her very disrespectfully. He is rude and I think she should have spoken up and then left.

Left to go where? And left how? These people are prisoners more or less. She probably didn't have any dollars on her. She doesn't know how to get a taxi. How would she get a plane ticket if she doesn't have cash or credit cards? But OTOH, I cant get too worked up over this shit either because both parties agreed to use one another for different reasons. Anny's mistake was trying to dig gold from a broke ass Uber driver like Robert. No bueno Anny, you clearly FAILED Golddigger University 101. See: Juliana for Tips on Bagging Money.

I know this was mentioned tangentially but is "synjin" a real name or a nickname for "St. john"? Did we get any resolution on this issue?

Syngin is an actual name.  Not with that spelling normally.  Kinda like Ashlee.

"The name St. John is much more usable and exotic in its phonetic spelling--similar to the way St. Clair evolved into Sinclair. St. John has some literary cred--St. John Rivers is a cool character in Jane Eyre."

She might be a prisoner up to a point but it's not like she was in New York City amongst the hustle and bustle teeming activity. But I have to admit it is something I would have done and have done and made my way to a departure point. Yes, she did make a huge mistake in choosing Robert and needs to hook up with Juliana, lol. Sweetiekins definitely hit a good mark in Michael regardless to how creepy he is.

If Mursel knew that Anna had three children, why did he choose to pursue a relationship with her? He could have told her that she was a lovely lady, and that he enjoyed their shared love of bees, but he was not interested in starting a relationship with a woman who had children. The kids are not going to go away, except for maybe a couple of them who will be going to college in a few years.

Do any of the foreigners have an emergency contact? Or enough money saved up or accessible to them to get a plane ticket home? If things are rough and you hate things in your new city/home and your fiancé has told you a pack of lies, get out. Guess it depends how much you are willing to put up with to get the Green Card.

Did we miss the part of the episode when murcel kept asking Anna to watch his favorite movie Flowers in the Attic?

Seriously there is more to just hiding the kids from his parents. Murcel wanted Anna to move away from her own kids, and he still does, he talked about still wanting her to move to Turkey. Murcel is coming off like a friendly doofus but I think there may be something darker there. Who would think for a second it would be OK for a single parent to just walk away from their kids?  If a dude wanted me to hide even my cat I would be like FU, the cat was here first.

I am not liking how Anna just sits back and allows her kids to be witness to this nonsense, same as when she sat back and allowed the racist questions from her mother to be translated and asked to  Murcel.

I don't even see him as a friendly doofus. I see him as someone who is just plain stupid and yet calculating.

Sinjin wants to be a bartending, firefighting, opera singing actor?

I hope the Bee People are just pretending because, if not, this is a trainwreck worse than most.

Ha !   And here I thought Michael looked sincere and normal, not a pervert.  Seems as if he meant that crack when he mentioned a porno in the limo.  CREEP.

I just realized this scene was a bonus scene in the "more to love" episode that was on before the new one last night.  My apologies for the confusion - I too was enjoying a glass (or a few) of wine while I watched so my recall is a bit fuzzy.

Roos' beard is not flattering.

WHY is he sporting that huge lumberjack beard in Miami? I had an old roommate who used to grow a big beard in the winter to keep his face warm, he'd shave it off every spring. Roos must be dying under all that facial hair.

Michael and Juliana are perfect because each of them has what the other wants.  Getting "married for love" is a recent concept.  Many people all over the world marry for something else other than love; is that right?  I don't know, plenty of people who got married for love are divorced.  They'll stay together as long as Juliana stays beautiful and Michael stays flush.

I can honestly say that "love" was down near the bottom of reasons why I married the husband. Top of the list were things like: if I'm in the hospital again after an emergency, "husband" gets more action than "boyfriend", it's easier to get on his benefits, I get to drop seven letters on my last name and get one that's much easier to pronounce and spell, and I get a shiny ring. Then came the love reason. I didn't need to marry him but I wanted to (mainly because of the last name thing because a 10+letter Polish last name is killer).

Apparently that IS how it's pronounced in Ukrainian. And it's spelled Kyev. The whole Kiev/Kee-ehv spelling/pronunciation is a Russian thing. See? I'm learning geography from these impeachment hearings!

Yeah... Its actually due to an ugly hIstory. The Soviet Union said THE Ukraine and Kiev..  To the majority of Ukranians, they are the names of oppression. It is just Ukraine ( not the) .  Saying "The Ukraine" reduces it to being a part of the USSR and IT fails to recognize Ukraine as an independent country.. In the same way correct pronunciation is Keev.  Its just that most of us grew up hearing and using the Soviet terminology. Plus , Modern Russia is trying to invade, so, they are still not fans

Oh, and Anny?  Here's your plane ticket home.  I agree she may've been misled, thinking that any American is rich, regardless, but her attitude?  She doesn't deserve a damned thing.  Not one.  She's an ungrateful wench and she should just go back to her DR home and have a nice life.  He's no winner either - there're better ways to say things than to bluntly come out with it, but she's just awful.

What, exactly does Anny have to be grateful for?

Robert made her all kinds of promises and then brings her home to live in his 1 bedroom (and 1 bed) apartment, to be his sex toy and nanny to his bratty kid (Robert's fault, not Bryson's) and then he takes her to buy us-ed clothes and insults her left and right.

Ole' money bags Michael from high dollar Greenwich, CT. living in that nasty rental. Who is he kidding? He has no money and that necklace was ugly AF. No way those fake colored stones were worth $4,000. He's fronting big time. How does a douche like that have such sweet, well mannered lovely kids? It boggles the mind.

The Lumberjack from WA. Tell her the truth! You're broke, you live in a small town and you don't want any kids right now.

I hate the turkish guy and the bee lady. He has no looks, no personality and no money. She is a horrible person putting her sons throught this shit. Shame on her! She needs to send that jackass back to Turkey asap and beg her sons to forgive her.

The $4000 for the necklace probably covers the cost of the 'gems', the amount of gold used (gold is now around $1500 US or so per ounce), the design cost and the manufacturing of a custom piece. Plus a little profit for the jewelry shop.

She is a horrible mother, and I bet you anything she contemplated leaving her kids at one point and moving to Turkey to be with him. Probably was gonna push off on her mother. But then they decided on him coming here "to see if it would work" first and then if not, she would move there. I bet you my house. Her dumb ass smile and passive nature as she just SITS THERE like a stupid log, while her kids are being disrespected- tells me everything I need to know about what type of mother she is. They're both selfish assholes. And no way could this be just an "act" for the show. What mother would admit to such a horrible storyline if not true? Her poor kids deserve better.

It does seem that Tania has the least amount of fans overall here, but I have to go against the grain and say that I dislike Anna more. She continued to entertain a man that wants her to leave her kids behind and thinks that having him come here, while still refusing to tell his parents about them, is her being a good mom and putting her kids 1st. Bitch where?!?! There is nothing I dislike more is the type of parent who acts like their top priority are their kids but their actions tell a different story. Hello Molly & Nicole. Good on the son for calling her out and saying he didn't believe her.

The words shopping spree and thrift store should never be in the same sentence. He could have at least taken her to Forever 21 or Ross. Sure, she could've got bags of shit she dare not wash more than twice, but at least it wouldn't have been as insulting.

I am no fan of Anny, but dusty ass Robert has no business bringing over another dependent when he can barely take care of the one(s) he got. Seriously, after seeing that apt, Robert's clothes and 1 bd apt, did Anny really think she was getting Chanel and Versace?

Sequim guys property looks nice but was there any mention of what he grows on his farm? I can see how he has a money management problem though. I noticed a few recreational vehicles and also that lovely seating area by the pond, with build in grill, beautiful paver stones, etc., looked like it cost a penny or two. I somehow doubt it came with the property when he bought it.

I noticed Robert's ass did NOT shop at the thrift store for lingerie. My guess is because it was really for his sexual enjoyment, his budget was a bit more forgiving.

So it appears that throughout the history of 90 days (and all its iteration) the two having the most sense to actually research the culture of a person is Michael's 2 minor children. They really just made most past contestants look like boorish lazy morons. I really do like those 2 kids. Michael (and his ex) did something right with them.

I don't think we know everything yet.  Upfront, he may've misled on the finances by continuing to send her money on demand.  I think after only three episodes, we're not entirely clear on his original intentions, or even his current ones now that she's here.

I wasn't there for the cruise where he spent all of eight hours with her, but I'll put reasonable money on the idea that how she is representing herself now is nothing like the way she represented herself then.  Has she been at all pleasant since she came down the stairs/escalator at the airport?  Had one nice thing to say?  Said thank you for anything he's actually been able to do for her?

He's not right to insult her, I get that, but she's not helping her case all that much by her own behavior and her own statements.

a) I second the recommendation for chernobyl.  For the nude scene if nothing else.

b) I am trying to be more open to recycled clothing, but I wouldn't even put on second hand lingerie.  I'm sure there are logical arguments in favor of it, but i  wouldn't even put it on.

c) Michael's kids are great, I really like Julianna and her story breaks my heart and is part of the reason why I think I'm almost always on the "golddigging foreigner's" side.

My God yes.  I can't even imagine the emotional damage being done to those kids knowing that their mom didn't immediately dump the man who wants to kept her kids a dirty secret.  By staying with him, she's complicit in his lying and she's showing her kids that truth isn't important as long as you are getting laid.

I agree - she should have said, like most sane women, "For real?  You want me to keep my kids a secret?  Oh....full stop on the K-1"  But no....she forges ahead.  Dummy.  Even when Murcel was introduced to the kids, she just sat there, passive and watching it get more and MORE awkward! Ugh.  Tania is my #1 loathe this season, Anna is #2.

I think my loathe list so far is:

1) Anna - Ready to abandon her boys for an odd, little, cowardly man

2) Mursel - The odd, little, cowardly man who wants Anna to abandon her boys

3) Sasha - Abandoning 2 boys, working on his 3rd.

4) Robert - Lousy father and a total jerk to Anny, and annoying babytalk accent.

5) Tania - Narcissist, who can't wait to have children she will probably abuse or neglect.

6) Emily  - She is basically a female Mursel, taking a parent from his kids.

7) Michael - A bit creepy, but has treated everyone OK so far.

😎 Anny - Was very nice to Bryson and doesn't seem to have unreasonable expectations.

9) Mike - Seems OK, except for keeping the secret about his debts.

10) Natalie - Haven't seen enough to dislike her yet, she has potential to move way up if she is a scammer.

11) Syngin - A bit dopey, lazy and unfocused, but seems harmless enough.

12) Juliana - Seems sweet.  Might be a gold digger, but she is a decent and friendly one.

I think Robert gave vague promises like "I'm going to take care of you because you're my lady." I think Anny filled in the details about what take care of you meant because she is materialistic. Girl, know thyself. She is not a classy broad and the fact that she caved when she got the lingerie shows that her affections can be bought. She is not a Chanel woman. She isn't even a Gucci girl. She is at her fanciest and most eloguent a Roberto Cavalli/Versace type of broad.

Anny leaves most of her clothing in the DR because she expects Robert to buy her an entire wardrobe. Meanwhile Juliana, who is with Michael who can afford to buy her a new wardrobe, shows up with her entire wardrobe in 4 suitcases. Juliana looks like she's in it for the long haul unlike Anny.

That necklace was ugly, the Hummer was hideous, and Michael is getting off on Juliana's youth and poverty. Luckily Juliana seems like a nice person; she seemed legitimately and sincerely enthused by the kids making breakfast and cake. I love that Juliana dressed like how a normal person would if they were going to be on an 8 hour flight because she just got off an 8 hour flight. Take note Darcey.

Tania and Syngin are at very different life stages. They need to move on from each other. This is going to be years of frustration and irritation.

Broke Shelton (TM someone Reddit) needs to be honest with his girl that he lives in East Nowhere and that he's broke. What does he farm?

What are Mursel's parents objections to Anna's children? That they exist? That Anna has a prior failed relationship? That her children appear to be mixed race? That she might not have been married when she had the kids? That the kids'father is somehow unsavory according to their values (now in a queer relationship, religious differences, criminal history, or behavioral health issues). Anna is still the worst for subjecting her children to all of this foolishness.

I can't tell if seeing the birth of his other kids would have made Sasha less inclined to abandon his children in Russia or more inclined to beat feet and move on to a new girlfriend.

As odd as it seems, I think it is fairly common for people who don't speak the native language to teach English. I have no idea how this works.

What I don't understand is how you teach a second language but you don't actually seem to have a desire to learn the language of the country you live in!

I can't get past Tania's "my friends are number one", and my husband (and kids too?) will come second. Good luck with that!

In general, this woman is over confident and under competent about life.

That's been a problem with this entire franchise.  The Americans of the couples don't bother with learning the other's language if it has no foundation in English - not a problem with the folks from South Africa, England, Israel and such, but especially if you find yourself needing an equivalent of Google Translate, you might wanna think about getting some conversational language under the belt before bringing fiance(e) over or going there.

The ESL teacher has absolutely no excuse, especially while having already lived in Russia for two years.
