They guy from WA makes me sad I share a state with him. Sequim (pronounced Squim) is beautiful, but if Natalie is hoping to find nightlife and lots to do, she's going to be bummed. It's a really small town on a peninsula and is a ferry trip and over 2 hours from Seattle. Every time Michael said he went 'over to Keev',  I wanted to smack him. At least learn how to pronounce the name of the city your girlfriend lives in. I hope Natalie pronounces Sequim like it's spelled, just to irritate him. He reminds my of a guy I went to grade school with. I ran into him when I was in my 30's and he was still the big, dumb, doofus he was in 6th grade and ended most sentences with 'and stuff' just like Michael. Somehow, I don't think Michael has told his bride to be that her days will be spent riding around in the mud on an ATV and hanging out with his Uncle Bo...........and stuff.

Apparently, it really is pronounced Keev.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nj.com/entertainment/2019/11/so-long-kiev-hello-keev-impeachment-hearings-teach-americans-actual-pronunciation-of-ukrainian-capital.html%3foutputType=amp

And it took me 5 years of living in WA to figure out how to pronounce Sequim and Poulsbo.

Ukrainians actually say "Keev."  But for an English speaker to say "Keev" when speaking English is sort of like saying "I took the Eurostar from London to Par-ee."

Natalie doesn't care about nightlife. She only cares about moving to the USA and reuniting with her best friend. Does her best friend live in Sequim too?

I don't know Natalie could go for the interview and be told "this may take six more months" without getting more specific info about the reason for such a delay or why six more months might be needed. You submit all your papers, you interview, and you get the visa or you don't. They don't take six months to decide or to issue the visa after deciding.

I get the feeling that whole argument between Robert and Anny at the Frying Dutchman was scripted with bad acting.

Michael is an idiot for having Juliana picked up in a hummer limo. It's just going to make her think it's appropriate to spend tons of his money on frivolous things.  He needs to lower his immigrant fiancee's financial expectations, like Robert the Tracy Morgan Soundalike does.

So many lovely kids this episode. Don't know what they did to deserve being put through this.

What in hell was that blue stuff WA Michael was putting in that pond? I hope it is something that controls algae and balances the ph and not some kind of dye to make it look pretty...... Uncle Bo is lucky to be staying there as I  think his other option would have been living on Pioneer Square or wherever the homeless in Seattle are living. Natalie so far seems okay.

I absolutely cannot stand Tania.  She is a smug, controlling pain in the ass. Her friends are no better and grilling Syringe about kids is in such poor taste and none of their damn business, but if they are a higher priority to her than her man, then there is a bigger problem. And it was so adorable hearing about all the things he wanted to be when he grows up. Barf.

CT Michael the perv has a dual  case of Napoleon and small dick syndrome, with a big dollop of nouveau riche thrown on top. That Hummer limo was some kind of tacky and should be reserved for kids going to high school graduation. So glad we got to see that garish $4000 bauble. I wonder if we will ever see her wear it. Juliana really is a pretty young thing. Holy shit, I haven't seen an apartment like that since Lidia and whathisname. The kids were very sweet and I hope there was some insulin handy after all that sugar that was being consumed. At least there were eggs and sausage.

Every time they showed the delivery room in the hospital I kept visualizing Corny' s face - it's like she and Emily were separated at birth. Glad that the baby was born healthy. I would have been terrified if I were her. Thank goodness Sasha didn't have somewhere else to be, like with the births his first two babies.

Anna and Murcel are doomed. I am starting to wonder if we are being punked- they both can't possibly be that stupid, or can they ??? I hate what they are putting those boys through.

Robert made a pretty smooth recovery with that Fredericks of Hollywood outfit for Anny. And little Bryson is a darling.

I think he said it was just to change the color of the water. I hope it's non toxic!

Make room for me on the can not stand Tania couch. Syringe nailed it when he said it's her story and he's just a character in it. I'm sure her friends don't do ANYTHING without running it by her first. I  wonder if one of them has ever been allowed to choose the restaurant or movie? I doubt it.

Anna behaves like Mursel and his ill-thought-out plan to pretend she has no kids are some sort of natural disaster she had no control over and just has to deal with. Anyone who happened upon their segments could be forgiven for thinking he moved in after she lost a bet or something, rather than it being a relationship between two alleged adults.

Do some of these folks ever call their beloved by their actual name and not baby or love?

So this is weird because I just had this conversation with a friend of mine a few weeks ago but I don't call the husband by his first name when we're talking. He's usually just "babe", as in, "Babe, grab me a drink?" And he calls me the same or "hon". We use each other's names when we talk to other people about each other (or our proper titles of The Husband and The Wife) but not to each other. It feels weirdly unnatural to use our names like that.

Juliana - "I'm so lucky."  Yes you are, you snagged a rich blind midlife crisis smitten American dude/wallet.

Tania - sheesh!  Her friends are more important Syringe, and will be there after he and she are no longer a couple.  Baby: she'll have a kid with someone else, if not with Syringe. 😮

Robert - I'd be easy to convince this is just a producer driven storyline in toto.  No way Mr. budget existed as a genuine candidate before they met up with him and convinced to bring in a high-dollar expecting DR gal.

Major cringe with no-upper-lip Michael, and his Party City porno hummer.  His kids are great tho, and they welcomed Juliana with such sweetness.

The multiple mole woman, and The Turkish Mr. Bean had wedding rings on in their segment. I smell a fraud.

Anny switched gears pretty easily when Robert bought out the ‘fancy’ lingerie. She went from bothered to hot ‘n bothered.

Emily and Sasha’s  new baby friend is pretty darn cute. Sasha could not remember the birth of his other children, because he wasn’t there. If there wasn’t a language barrier for Emily he’d probably skipped gumball #3 being popped out too.

The new couple seem legit. Mike’s  property is gorgeous, and so far I’m not getting anything to snark about.

but let me leave the worst for last...

Tania. Where to begin: I don’t like her. She’s annoying, and full of herself.  The
pit hair twirling is exceptionally gross, and weird. It’s not level 10 creepy like Pole’s Mom giving a mound of hair to her son, but it is STRANGE.
And for an average woman, she high maintenance with an ego to match. Even Naomi Campbell would tell her to take her diva-like demeanor down a notch. Syngin is in a world of hurt, but I’d expect he'll bail on her once he gets a green card.

I’m finding this season boring  so far. I hope the train wrecks start happening, because it is why we watch.

OK, if Tania is such a goal oriented go-getter, why is she living in a she shed in her mother's back yard? That's like one step down from living in the basement, which at least has heat.

It's her manger. After the virgin birth (because Syringe isn't going to contribute to it), she's expecting three wise men to show up with presents.

If I was Anny I would have been offended if my fiance took me to a used clothing store to go shopping after arriving. He should have explained to her before going the clothes were used instead of being sneaky about it or explained to her the current financial situation. I do think her reaction was childish,  but I get it. However I don't believe she wore expensive clothes in the DR. Maybe expensive for them, but she wasn't wearing Versace or Chanel. The men have to be promising these women more than they can offer for the women to come here and have all these demands. I am sure it all roots from pride and not wanting to see poor since these men all have weaknesses for women who have cultural expectations for the man to be the provider. Conversely the men who come from counties where they are expected to be the provider are content with having their American women support them. I wish someone would do a study on these behaviors. I find it to be so interesting. How one's expectations and behaviors change with an American is factored in. Do we really appear to be that rich because of TV? Do other countries not understand television shows are an exaggeration and poor representation of reality? Are Americans really generous or just really gullible and naive?

In my opinion there is strong naivety because our concept of love is juvenile.

She and Grangela both need to go to Molly's bra place. I noticed on Pillow talk that Molly does look to have excellent undergarments going on, she's also large breasted, but her girls are lifted and under control.

I cannot stand Tania. I'd be willing to bet her big desire for a pregnancy is just so she can get more publicity, "pregnant woman arrested at Senate protest", something like that. A baby would be just another secondary character in her personal movie.

I'm not sure she wants kids for publicity.  But, your comment about her wanting a kid to be another character in her story (like Syngin) rings, sadly true.

She really seems like a narcissist, who views life as a big stage, with her being the star, and the people around her as supporting characters.   I am afraid she we see her kids as pawns to make her story more interesting.

Unfortunately I agree. I think she looks around 15 years old, and however sweet she may be, she acts like a pre teen. Look I'll just say it: these men that date young women- fine. No problem, as long as everyone is of legal age. What troubles me is when they are with much younger women (a decade or more younger), and they look AND act extremely young. Obviously Juliana is a tall, thin girl, not much curves. Ok fine... everyone's body type is different. And she seems lovely, however her mannerisms remind me of a young teen.

I had a friend of a friend who was an escort in Vegas.  I assumed she didn't make a lot of money in her chosen profession. In my opinion she looked less like a woman, and more like a 14 year old kid. But she explained to me that her "act" was the "daddy's girl" role. She dressed very young (think saddle shoes etc.), acted the naïve, girlish role. She was flat chested, no curves. She said she made BANK compared to the "regular girls". She was around 22, but easily looked like a pre-teen. She said she was racking up the money while she still could, before time filled her out. I asked her if it bothered her, being with men who were borderline pedophiles? She said "Actually I feel better about doing it, because I am consenting to the act. And maybe, just maybe, it might stop them from truly hurting someone underage".

Anyway, whenever I see men with a younger woman, I usually don't cringe. Men like young, fertile women, that is no secret. I side eye them only when the younger party clearly looks or acts "underage". Juliana I fits both roles imo. She is cute and sweet yes, but something is off when you introduce your fiancé to your kids and she looks young enough to be their sibling. She literally barely looks old enough to drive. Let's face it, she isn't going to be having political, social or existential conversations with Michael. His behavior towards her, some of the little comments he has made, almost seem predatory to me. He wants that "daddy" role. "You are poor when I am not with you, but no worries, daddy is here to save you. Now let's make a porno in the limo!" Barf

I'm always suspicious of men who prefer women who are flat chested and have no curves.  I'm also creeped out by the whole "daddy" thing.  That always makes me think that the woman has been molested.  I'm pretty sure Juliana was a child prostitute "model".  Now at 21, she's too old for some of these men so she'll settle down with a guy who can buy her things so she can just continue being a play thing.

In the Anna/Mursel relationship, I totally lay the blame for keeping the boys a secret on Anna.  She knew Mursel's position yet she continued to seek out a relationship with him, become engaged, and spend the money to bring him over to the U.S. on a K-1 visa.  She presents herself as the victim and is very passive-aggressive in the discussions about the boys.  However, I believe she knew Mursel's perspective and continued in the relationship in spite of his reluctance to acknowledge her sons.  I really feel for the boys but do not buy the hurt victim role Anna is trying to play.

I agree - she should have said, like most sane women, "For real?  You want me to keep my kids a secret?  Oh....full stop on the K-1"  But no....she forges ahead.  Dummy.  Even when Murcel was introduced to the kids, she just sat there, passive and watching it get more and MORE awkward! Ugh.  Tania is my #1 loathe this season, Anna is #2.

I kinda liked this guy. But was a bit confused by his situation. He said his family has been in that very small town for 130 yrs. But yet, he bought the 26 acres retail? I would have guessed after a family has been in a tiny town for that many generations, they'd own a good portion of it and would be passing big parcels of it down to the younger generations. And then I Googled how much an acre costs there and I was dumbstruck! Even w/ a very generous family discount, it still cost him a grip, I'm sure! And then what happens if they divorce? No way he'd be able to buy out her interest at this point.

He talked to her very disrespectfully. He is rude and I think she should have spoken up and then left. It looks like she was prepared to be his all but found out his weak game plan. I think he pursued her with a bunch of lines that may not have been lies but weren’t quite the truth...

If you respect and love someone you don’t call them names like that. I see why some of these people need to find romance outside the country. They have very little appeal and Robert has no “Mack”... he Is definitely not good with people.

But, Anny was upfront with what she wanted and there seems to be a problem with women who do that. She wants things. He lied. His tightwad butt lied and then treated like he found her on the streets.

For me they just kept me pushing because he wasn't in fetal distress at any point. I hear MY OB tell the nurse, "just keep her pushing, but that baby isn't delivering without forceps" at which point I literally leaned up on my elbows and gritted out "I HEARD that. I'm not pushing anymore and you can't make me." So around hour 28 they whipped out the forceps and pulled that kid out of me.  So as I was watching last night with my son fully freaking out next to me, I leaned over and said, "You're welcome."

I've reached the age where everyone under 30 looks young to me. So I rely on my sons - age 21 and 18 - to double check my brain age math. According to them she acts/dresses/talks/references/looks like a US high school girl in the 15 to 18 age range. They cited specifically the hoodie crop top/joggers she was wearing (which I at first likened to a prison jumpsuit) as specifically something that girls that age are wearing.

No, I'm sure that's just a nickname! On the screen, it said his name was "Beau," which is a real name.

"Mr. Bojangles" was just a nickname for the famous tap dancer/actor/social activist. I think his real name was Bill Robinson.

Kiev is pronounced, basically,  KEEV. The American pronunciation is for some reason, Kee YEV. But it doesnt sound right at all, it sounds all French and wierd. . The emphasis should be on the KEE, and the YIV is understated.
