I remember there were promo pics of the Monitor which was part of people piecing together the "OMG Mia probably time travels back to 2029!" Good to see the scene had have an on screen reason why Oliver doesn't call Sara - especially as the show used her *a lot* as a time taxi in the final few episodes. 

Also the Monitor really should have been more bothered Oliver didn't trust him and told him he was working against him. I know he was all "all roads lead to Crisis" but you don't want your supposed big asset on the wrong page thinking you're the Anti Monitor instead. Although he did end up getting blindsided by most of what actually happened in COIE.
