Two nice young teens being ruined by their overbearing Mothers.  When they graduate high school, they better go to a college across the country and save themselves.

I have to say, the kids do seem nice-- not like some of the monsters of years past.  I wish them the best; I just don't want to watch their plotlines.  (To be fair, I don't particularly want to watch their moms' plotlines either...)

Kelly is giving the best talking heads right now.  We've arrived at a dark place.

Andy should remove all of the talking heads from ancillary characters like Ryan and Braunwyn's mom (and Gina, obviously) and just give everyone on this board talking heads.

Pssstt.....what's MOM?

It's a sitcom. They had an episode where they ate pot cookies and the lead talked about meandering rivlets of water during her shower. Never heard those 2 words together except from that show.

Your post put me right back there, LOL!

A relative of mine has Lupus. For a short period of time she wore a full wig to cover the hair loss. She couldn't take it - she said it was like wearing a wool cap for 10 hours straight. When she first had on the wig - she was constantly touching it - because it was strange to her and she said because she was afraid it was crooked or might come off.

I've never known anyone who got those old style extensions where they attach spaghetti bundles near the scalp held in with glue and a clear pellet - but I've seen it on numerous videos (think back to Paris Hilton, Britney Spers, Nicole Richie) - do people still do this? I think this "trend" ruined a lot of women's hair. Women who had to switch out and redo after x amount of weeks fried what hair they had left. To remove the old extensions - the glue/clear pellet had to be separated from your real hair and the some of the real hair would be pulled off in strands - and what hair got left - was broken and thinned.

Not to belabor but the person I asked about the patting didn’t limit the discomfort to just the older style glue in those but spoke about the discomfort in general of weaves and extensions.

She said it was somewhat like having a cast on your leg or arm and you want to scratch it but you can’t reach. With the hair you pat and stroke because you can’t physically reach the scalp.

I just wonder about what it is like in terms of all the incredibly fake cosmetic stuff that women put themselves through and whether there is any degree of disconnect when it’s revealed to one’s intimate partners.

I haven't seen many episodes this season but, coming back now, it seems I didn't miss much.

I found Tamra a tiny bit likable in this episode, and I'm not sure what to do with those emotions.

Why did Ryan's laser surgeon look like a game show host?

Then again, Braunwyn's husband reminds me of a flamboyant magician.

OMG, thank you for speaking for all of us, well at least me, when we give Tamrat any slack!!  Too funny!! 😎😂

That’s how I feel about a lot of the housewives, especially Kelly.

I'm a retired hairstylist.  Anytime the hair and scalp are covered or pulled back (think ponytail) it's gonna be an itchy, kind of sore mess after even a few hours.   Same with wigs.  Drive a guy nuts!

If you must fill the need, then keep a knitting needle handy for the incessant itching.  Or a wire tooth lift.  They are  thin and slippery and can get through a rat's nest to the itch.

That is some awesome snark!! 😄 If the deaf guy of Penn and Teller bites the dust, there's a career waiting for Mr. BrawnyWinn.

And since I'm on the subject, what exactly does BW's husband do for income?

I don't watch RHOC much anymore so I'm sure it's been asked/answered but I still don't know.

Claire Voyant, have you ever watched extensions getting done or ever applied them to a client? Which method do you think was used on Gina?

I just watched a bunch of videos on Youtube - learned a new term "weft". I saw different methods. One was 2 inch wide extensions that are self adhesive applied above and below one strip of hair - the girl in the video said she used 60 to 80 pieces. Another was a girl applying weft with glue. Another was taking strand of your real hair through a metal clip -clamping it - once a railroad track was laid against the scalp - a weft was then sewn into the railroad track.

I have questions - all of these methods are a LOT of work. So do these women not wash their hair? I can't see them removing this stuff every night and reapply every morning. Wouldn't shampoo jeopardize the glue/tape? If you scrub your hair - the extension could be pulled down off kilter, yes?

OK.  Now I think I get it.  There seems to be a Brown Stain Family attempt to keep the focus on them.  Brown Wind with the kissing Tamra and now Mom is yelling someone touched her in a crowd of people.

If they are trying this hard they MUST be broke.

OK, so Brown Wind's big idea for her daughter whose eating disorder was fueled by being in the ballet world which is focused on thinness is to put her in the fashion world which is focused on .... thinness. The big difference between the dance world and the fashion world is that the fashion world has better drugs! Oh, and they are taller.

He can also grow balder and uglier.

I wouldn't be surprised if crazy fashion show lady was offered an orange next season. I was so ready to be totally on her side but she got weirder and weirder and weirder and then bitch got on the mic. But you know what no the other hand, I was like ... it was what these bitches deserve, especially Kelly getting face checked with the mic. LOL!

What kills me is that given his political affiliation you just know that lil' bitch is out complaining about entitlement programs, welfare and socialist programs but yet he sits on national tv thinking the world wasn't properly laid out at his feet to allow him to succeed. Where are his boot straps at?

Kelly's talking head of Gina looking like shit made my night.

Gina is such a bird and could get her and her kids killed failing to lock doors and shit.

I don't want to hear Gina talking 'bout her huzzband trying to get into her cookie jar. I half don't believe it and think she is lying to save face and look desirable.

Emily may have a good baby daddy but she got herself a shit husband.

Perhaps a snowflake??

While I find Ryan to be awful  (really, truly, naked wastedly awful) I can't help but feel a little bit of pity for him. He seems directionless, hopeless, and bitter. We are living in a pretty divisive time in our country, and it is easy to drown in a sea of constant us against them cable news and social media viewing. Especially if one already feels isolated. I think Tamra has reason to worry...but I really wish she would stop bailing him out.

Well, for heaven's sake, if you KNOW that about yourself, then the last thing in the world you should do is HAVE A CHILD with a woman who you barely know who already has three children with three different men.

I know many men who were directionless, hopeless and bitter.  You know what straightened them out?  BECOMING A FATHER.  I've seen many men who started to take a career and their lives a lot more seriously once they realized they were creating an even WORSE childhood for their child otherwise.

If he hasn't provided child support, I am sure the state of California will find a job for him.

It was on a Lost Footage episode--Tamra's first ex-husband (Ryan's dad) was there, and the three of them went out to dinner, and everyone was acting very chummy, so I think it was after Tamra and Simon broke up, probably in the season where Brianna had her health scare...it would have to be season 5 or 6.

Ryan seemed awful at the time.  I remember thinking, what the fuck is wrong with him?  But I also felt sad for him, because he seemed really happy to have his parents together, and I wish he had gotten to experience more of that.

The fact that I remember this shit is an indication that I need to examine my life.

Wouldn't life be so beautiful for all of us if, our parents never got divorced/stayed happily married and/or never died suddenly and tragically.

We were all born with the gift of common sense. And common sense tells us to grow up, stay strong and build a good life for ourselves.

So NO sympathy from me for Baby Ryan. None whatsoever. His parents divorced. Big fucking deal. THEY'RE STILL ALIVE YOU FRIGGIN' MORON.

I’m itching just hearing about it.  This same ole wig style is enough already.  Everyone’s hair looks the same.  Long curls hanging down the back n front.  How about some new hairstyles with just the real hair, if they all have any hair left.  A cute bob or shorter real hair would look nice for a change.

No $hit!! I can tell an OC woman who has extensions...the back of their hair is always longer than the sides. It's so obvious.

And no way could I just "pat my head" if it was itching. I'm down with scratching my head like an Animal Planet monkey! 😄

I know what Ryan needs, and it isn’t therapy or a job.  He has to go into the service and be a Soldier.  That will straighten his ass out.  He needs discipline, working out and orders.  He has to learn to be a MAN.  Being he’s so patriotic.  Problem solved.

I know there's no way to do anything like that without some discomfort and subsequent itching.  People get headaches from ponytails!  I can't imagine the itch from extensions being woven, glued and wefted onto your scalp.

As for the cleanliness...I don't see how that could happen.   One day without a wash and your body starts to get smelly, and it's worse on your head.

Hair, by it's very structure, is a dirt and smoke magnet no matter how hard or long you scrub in the shower.

I can remember coming home from a bar when smoking was legal and having to wash my hair before I could go to bed.  I could never sleep with that filth all over it.   Can't imagine the amount of reek extensions could hold.   Just...no.

Ha, the last thing the world needs is an unstable angry resentful man-baby to go over to the Middle East with an assault weapon and unleash on innocent people. My husband is ex military (in Australia) and he doesn't understand why people suggest that lazy, unmotivated directionless people join up. The military doesn't want them either!

On a tangent, my brother is a psychiatrist and I often ask him about impacts on children etc and in his opinion the damage is mostly done by the time kids are 5. When they are tweens and teens acting out - it's almost too late to reverse the damage and its mostly about damage control. Im not saying Tamras son is traumatised, but he clearly doesn't have a go-getter personality and had she provided a more nurturing, safe and secure environment he would be in a better space. Didn't her elder daughter say Tamra would leave them alone without food on occasion??

Here's the video I watched with the "tape in" method"

This stylist recommends not washing the hair for 24 - 48 hours to let the adhesive set.

I can't imagine the annoyance of plastic bits clacking against my scalp - not just during the day - but what about when you sleep!

Also, do you have to use a specialized shampoo that doesn't make the tape un-sticky?

You know how sometimes in the junk mail pile - there is some fake credit card stuck to the letter - it's held in place by this tacky glue - I call them "glue boogers"

When you have these extensions and shampoo - are there residual glue boogers floating around your head? Ewwwwww...!!!!!

I'm thinking about all the hair loss when these pieces of tapes are removed from your real hair.

The most disturbing thing I've ever seen on this show was when Tamra egged Ryan on with the 'Naked Wasted' episode.  That behavior was beyond the pale.  That alone tells me what I need to know about Tamra's parenting skills.

I still don't think that Simon was all that awful either.  Sure, he has his faults, but I don't think he was nearly as bad as Tamra would have people believe.
