Somewhere in L.A. there is a huge warehouse full of Robin's fantastic skin care products that nobody will buy. But never fear....she's nice enough to GIVE her products away for FREE!! She's so kind hearted.

Todays episode was creepy. But leave it to Phil to top the creepiness next week with the son in law who allegedly exposes himself to his mother in law! GROSS!

I loved the show today!  So her medication has this side effect.  Fascinating.

It seems to me that EVERY pharmaceutical medication has side effects that are more horrific than the actual ailment. "Discontinue use of this drug if you experience side effects such as blindness, diarrhea, suicidal thoughts, sudden urge to commit heinous crimes...." No thanks, I'll just suffer....it's much safer.

It’s funny to me to read your comments on shows that I can’t see because of the Olympics programming. We’ve always been such fans of the Olympics but not this year. The way NBC is delaying the programming has just killed our interest. Sad for all of these athletes who’ve trained and worked so hard. Anyway, I guess I’ll catch up at some point.

No kidding, holy shit. I'd rather have arthritis symptoms than feel like I'm losing my effing mind.

And I love the deus ex machina at the last possible second of the show, "you're on this medication, and this is a side effect." Roll credits. Huh, okay. You spent the previous 58 minutes convincing us this lady was just a typical batshit. If I were her I'd be a bit pissed about this portrayal, once she changes meds and is more lucid again.

Chantix guy: "The urges weren't as strong as they used to be. But the urge to kill took over instead."

(Abilify isn't even an antidepressant or sleep aid as it's being marketed here...it's an antipsychotic! WTF are these companies doing to us?!)

well gosh, her family is frustrated that their daughter can't see the fool she is hooked up with, scared for her, and understandably worried all the time. What if that fool decides because he is king of the world that he has a right to kill her or something.   None of this is going to end well. They did get very nervous when they realized that they were about to be in the child abuse system.  Why do idiots like this even come on TV??

I only saw about 3/4 of the episode but I'd guess that "Leader of the World" and Erica came on thinking it was a chance to spread their "message". By the way how old was the other girl? She looked really young like 17-18-ish.

From yesterday- As soon as Phil crows "Imma Man-DATED Reporter!" I knew those kids would not be getting any help from Phil or any of his pay-to-play "specialists".  I hope the girl's family recorded the episode and will find good legal help to get their grandchildren away from the whack a doodle parents. They have enough evidence from the tapes and the actual show to get an emergency injunction IMO.

Today - I feel bad for Sheila.  I hope her delusions are due to medication side effects and if seen by a real, board certified medical doctor, she gets the help she needs.  I missed "Mrs. Tyler Perry", but it is heartbreaking to me to see people so deluded.  They truly are living in their own world, and just as we on the outside can't fathom how these folks can believe their crazy stories, they can't comprehend why we don't see "the truth".

I felt bad for Sheila as well. I think they mentioned that she'd been in the psychiatric hospital twice, so her issues are definitely serious.

Simon looks like William H. Macy. I don’t want to give Sheila any ideas though.

It's interesting that they hustled him off the stage pretty quickly. It looked like Sheila was about to have  a meltdown if they didn't.

I would like to know what that medication is. I was taking arthritis meds but stopped taking them because it can make u go blind

The guy was sure not happy to be there next to Sheila--at all.  But I sort of believed her when he said he would be back in 2 days with a limo and roses.  Thought maybe that was the only way he could get away from her--sort of like the great escape.  I was hoping Dr. P would ask him exactly what happened when they parted ways--did they fight--did he say this was it and just walk out--what???  I think they glided over that very subtly.  I do remember he said "that is why I stopped answering your emails."  So he had tried to get rid of her.  Maybe one day they will have an update on her.

What was that today?  The husband had exposed himself to the mom (who likely participated) multiple times AND the younger sister?  Where was Doctor Creepy from family services, not that he really adds much, but what about Dr Phil being a mandated reporter?  The little sister was a minor when that happened.  Is that not abuse?  Instead of counseling to fix the marriage because they have children and lord forbid Dr Phil recommends immediate divorce, this episode should’ve been 10 mins and they could’ve dedicated the rest of the episode to Robin’s snake oil, which I would avoid because her eyes get closer to each other every episode.  The husband should’ve been in cuffs.  How much more evidence did the wife need?  I feel like lately there is such a lack of conclusion/closure.  It’s veering into Springer territory.

The stalker woman from last week seemed like there was more going on than just arthritis meds.  She’d been “hospitalized” before.  I agree, I need to see update receipts on that one before I’m convinced she’s not crazy.

While I was watching today's show I had two thoughts:

1. That woman was so far out of that jerk's league. She was stunningly beautiful.

2. Dr. Phil spent most of the time blaming the mother-in-law while jack-me-off Joe threw her to the dogs. HIs wife admitted he lies like a dog. What would be the purpose in lying on his mother-in-law? to isolate his wife from her support system and gaslight her into the blaming her mother. Fuck that guy and fuck Dr.  Shill.  There are very good reasons why the mother-in-law would not tell her daughter. Anyone who has done any family therapy work should know that.

Those were my exact thoughts. The guy was caught red-handed and yet said "It wasn'me!" - I don't believe anything he says, including about the mother-in-law. If her daughter didn't leave him after he cheated on her multiple times, the mother was right to believe that her daughter would be skeptical. I doubt that the mother wanked him.

That woman was so beautiful, I figured the guy had to be a millionaire or hauling a 20ft zucchini in his pick up truck. Then it turns out he's unemployed now, but was previously employed as a delivery man for parcels and his dick. He's poor AF, and living with his wife's parents, Which means the sex must be that good.

Seriously, how did a show about a guy with a serious cheating problem become about the MIL? Misogyny is a thing.

What does the MIL watching that creep waggle his penis at her (continually, many times!) have to do with misogyny or Dr Phil's "mommy issues"?

I wonder if we all watched the same show? If I did not tell my daughter immediately that her husband (were they living in mom's house?) had jacked off in front of me while

I drove him home from work, I am the one who is WRONG!

"Oh, he had her wrapped around his little finger?"  What? What happened there that Mom was afraid daughter would not believe her?

Today, I hate this mother. Hate her bad.

I have been furious with my children's father, but, never ever bring them into the court/family court business.

That little boy has a life with court talk and fear talk about his father.

It is really fuckin' weird that the MIL would see the guy's junk dozens of times over *four years* and not tell her own daughter about it. Once, you could maybe write it off as "I accidentally walked in on him," but not dozens of times in various circumstances. It's suspicious as hell.

I’m still getting the Olympics when Shill is supposed to be airing. I wish I could be more interested in the Olympics as that’s always been a favorite of our to watch. I did see a rerun this morning on OWN with Sheila and Simon. Wow. I’m not quite sure I believe everything Simon said but Shelia really needs some help. It bugged me that Shill waited until the last few minutes to talk about her arthritis medication being a possible cause of her mental problems. When he offered her help with that, she said “Fine” like she wasn’t the least bit interested in that because she was sure that Simon had promised her all of those things and said all of those things to her. On a shallow note, what the hell was going on with her brother’s hair? That was so distracting to me that I had trouble listening to what he was saying. Does he really think that’s an attractive hair-don’t on him? If anyone loved him, they’d tell him to get that long, greasy mess cut off.

She is quite beautiful and seems sweet.  She needs to run for the hills.  She sort of reminds me of a brunette Cameron from Southern Charm.

I think Phil needed to throw someone under the bus to create more drama for the show and chose the Mother In Law for a few reasons. Number one: The wife seemed to have wised up after putting up with dude's stuff for years, she's already one foot out the door so it's not like Phil had to convince her of anything. Number two: The husband has admitted to doing awful things, so it's not like Phil could catch him in a bombshell lie.  Number Three: I think the subject of Sex Addiction is simply  out of Dr Phil's wheelhouse so he couldn't add anything educational, so he had to go find someone to yell at.

"Why didn't you jump out of the car and run away?!" Like, really?

That's kind of what I thought too. Mom's probably thinking, "Well, he's addicted to porn, you don't leave him...he's having multiple affairs you don't leave him,..he's flashing other people you don't leave him...what's it matter what   I say?"

She should have pulled over to the side of the road and told HIM to get out.  If he didn't, she should have threatened to call the cops and have him arrested for indecent exposure.  And that would have been the LAST ride I'd have ever given him.

I think after realizing that he wasn't going to put the moves on her, she got complacent.  Instead of being threatened she's thinking, "There's my zany pervert son-in-law touch himself again...what're ya gonna do?"

Fair enough, but I think at that point she'd gotten used to him and his "habit".

Today's fucking idiots found a crazy homeless woman and brought her to live with them? And their CHILDREN?

Oh, they're "church people." That explains it. (Sorry, Church Folks, but anyone who plucks a crazy homeless woman out of a tent and brings them to church with them is someone I do NOT want to share an elevator with)

On the one hand, in light of the Turpins, you want people to bring up potential abuse and say something if they see something.  On the other hand, unless the family is completely delusional, they would probably have some awareness of their abusive behavior and not invite homeless people into their home for their lives to be on display if they had something to hide unless they thought the woman would be so grateful she wouldn’t tell, but that’s a stretch.  The only thing I get from this is not to invite homeless people living in tents in the field across the street to live with you.  No good deed and all...

Yes, this is very true.  Look what just happened with the family who had all those children tied up in the bedroom for all those years.   Relatives "knew" something wasn't right and never called a soul did they?  Just kept asking to see the kids.

It's wonderful that the husband and wife are trying to help so many children but I do wonder if they themselves have some kind of issues that make them believe they need this affirmation of their "worth" or self "value" or whatever I'm trying to say.   For the Christian faith, one doesn't have to jump through hoops or rescue all of humanity to get to Heaven.  Jesus already did that.  (p.s. not meaning to offend any non-christians.  Just giving an example.)

I have adopted two children from the foster care system. Special needs doesn't begin to describe the amount of care and services these children require. My children do not have the medical needs of the children from this episode. The truth is that children coming from the foster care system do not ever fully recover from being abandoned and from the abuse, neglect, and trauma that they have experienced. This couple is insane to adopt so many special needs children. While it is noble of this family to take in so many special needs children, I agree with Parrotfeathers that some of it has to be motivated by their own need to be seen as wonderful and special.

I have never understood why someone would take a homeless person into their home with minor children in the house. There are other ways to help homeless people who are basically strangers without exposing them to your children.

Re- Stephanie the blonde woman with delusions

i unfortunately suffer from extreme anxiety. In my opinion FWIW - I have a Masters in Emotional disorders, this woman had more than anxiety. Paranoid, delusions of grandeur , use of meth ,being followed, won’t use the phone, bugs etc.  Maybe Schrill didn’t want to embarrass her or “ diagnos” her but she has a lot going on

At least he didn’t blame her mom per usual. I hope she gets the help she needs and we see a follow up

I have a relative with anxiety.  I sure feel for you.  It causes you to worry about "things" that seem ridiculous to others.  But I do understand what you go through.   It's easy to say everything will be fine.  But for you that may be something hard to fathom!

I don't know what to think about the 2 part episode of the father molesting his daughters.  Apparently the ex-wife wanted no part of the show.  You cannot allow being molested define who you are.  At least that is what Dr. Laura says.   I hope this lady gets more help than she has gotten.  But I do understand her wanting to confront her father.  I do believe what he said about her initiating some of it.  A child will get love any way she can, especially with her father.  And especially if she doesn't realize it is wrong.

Didn't she say early in that she told her mother and her mother called the police and then divorced him?

Rerun 3/1 on OWN from 2008--Forced to be a Father--man feel his rights were violated when he finds out he fathered a child 2 years ago (paternity test positive) and he does not believe he should have to pay child support.  He says he had no choice at all in the decision of the courts.  He wants nothing to do with the child.  Wife feels their children will be "devastated" to learn they have a half sibling.

This was an interesting show for sure.  But after all these years you'd think men and women would know it is their choice to insert (or have inserted) a penis into a vagina with or without protection.  And my mom always told me for every choice there is a consequence.

Watched the scumbag father who (according to what he says) is being falsely accused of being everything but a child of God.

One of the things he said (poor thing) was that now he was a convicted sex offender, he was on a registry and everyone knows where he lives, and he can't get a job, can't live in a decent neighborhood, blah, blah, blah.  As a former victim of child sexual abuse, I am very cognizant of the sex offender registry, and have looked at the maps available on line that show where sex offenders live.  I can understand his concern, because anyone has access to find out if scumbags live in their neighborhood.  Whenever I've passed the house of someone on the registry, I pray that they don't come outside.  There would be an unpleasant conversation.

When you choose the action (molesting children), you choose to accept the consequences (not everyone you encounter will be nice to you).

I do not believe one word out of that man's mouth.  (Where was Jack Trimarco?)  I do not believe the child instigated any of it.  She may have not fought, she may have participated quietly because she was a child and could not fight off an adult.  But that's a long way from instigating.  She knew her mother wasn't going to help.  She did what she had to do to survive.  Been there, done that.

I like the analogy Phil gave to the young women.  If you asked me to give you your car keys, I can't because don't have them.  Their dad will never be able to give them what they need to hear.  They have to let that go.  I can see him saying he was ready to talk to them but the conversation would end up in the same place

I saw the preview for the episode with the woman who believes that she was possessed by the devil for years and now suffers from PTSD.  They showed her rolling on the floor babbling, etc., then her going into a "spell" right on the stage.  Some of these people who Phil tries to help are definitely mentally ill, but what I saw was some chick who was looking for attention.  What puzzles me more is that her mother and sister believe this.  I wonder if these three just wanted a free trip to LA, and to get on TV for the thrill.  I will probably be back after I watch the episode.

@patty1h, The mother and sister were like her disciples and the girl was the "saint" suffering. (That's the feel I got from the 3 of them.)

For me, it was infuriating.  I was raised Roman Catholic, but now, I am an atheist.

Seeing Phil entertaining these delusions for a national audience is disgusting.

Having one of her fits on stage was one of the lowest points of Phil's show.

All of them saying, "we've been to regular doctors, and they can't help us."

No, I guess not.

Even their pastor told them to get counseling.

In regard to the sisters with the abusive father. They need continuing therapy, a restraining order against the monster and blocked phone numbers so he can't call them. Phil handled it the best he could, but really nothing could be gained by them appearing on this show. Their moronic father (who looked like a South Park character) and their bitch of a mother do not care about their daughters. I take that back, they will pretend to care when they are too old or ill to take care of themselves. I hope the daughters can just move on and realize getting an abusive person to admit things or apologize rarely happens.
