  1. there's something about Nyle. He doesn't take the best pictures, but he is hot damn gorgeous and sexy, and at least through the edit he is getting seems like a really nice human being. It is true that people forgive him for many things they would hang Mikey for, myself included. Part of it is looks, sure, but I guess what sold me was that, even though he clearly knows he is very good looking and women just swoon and fall, and those who are stronger - throw themselves at him, he (again based on edit) doesn't let it define him or get to his head and walk like god among men. That man has true power. I hope he uses it for good lol ETA: his reaction to the shot with mom was the only one that got me crying...
  2. that's what i got out of this episode. There are two Nyles on this Earth. and i call BS on the call our order. FCO should have been Nyle or Mikey. Probably Nyle, because he had a higher challenge score. Mame's photos should have been in the bottomest bottom, not "best performance this week"
  3. *shyly raising a hand* I do lol sometimes... depends on many things, but sometimes I take one bun off, sometimes I just order it without a bun. Sometimes I crave meat, but stake is too much, and I see no reason to load up on carbs (esp if there are fries involved too) just because I want a little bit of red meat... I'm talking legit restaurants, though, not McD's. If I go to fast food place that specializes on burgers I know what I'm doing and obviously will be ordering and eating full burger.
  4. I was going to quit this show for it's unrealistic plots and science, but then Scream Queens came out and I realized that if I look at Scorpion trough the same glasses as I do at Scream Queens, it's actually enjoyable. Though I try not to think that Scorpion as a show actually is trying to take itself seriously as opposed to just running free with the camp and cheese of the genre. But it's a minor adjustment, a much smaller one than was required last season before my personal "revelation" lol The camp and cheese were going so strong this episode. I mean the formula describing what would have happened to Walter when he jumped onto the moving train has velocity freaking squared. 90 mph... squared... yeah... that's survivable. I'm not gonna even admire his hand eye coordination that allowed him to grab onto a thin handle, let's assume he has that. How did the arms not fly out of the sockets is beyond me. zero to 90 acceleration. Did Clark Kent remove his glasses, quit the newspaper and take an FBI job? Last season I would have turned it off right after that. This time... I just laughed and watched.
  5. The "good bye" scene was done very well. Both actors went all in, I was not just misty eyed, I was actually crying. And then a good hoax of a non-death... and then the "wrong price"... and then the "actual price", which on top of it all is historically accurate. Well done, show... Well done :) For the first time in ages I'm actually looking forward to seeing what will this all doo to the characters. Mary's guilt and elation and problems of no regent now... Dauphin... for some reason I really like his character. A silly boy but you can see he wants to be a good king, he wants to learn and now that he had a scare of becoming one, he'll probably throw a lot more into learning to be a king. I like two brothers together, some nice scenes.
  6. I doubt it, Caterina Sforza was a lot younger than Girolamo Riario. I believe the age difference was in the neighborhood of 20 years. I guess by the standards back then 20 years wasn't "a lot" but she was not even a teenager when she got married...
  7. well someone did reach out to him, or he reached out to someone cause for $10 http://theaslapp.com/#about you can have Nyle telling you this: https://twitter.com/adamantpoetry/status/662844114300354560 I think Lacey can have a successful book, but not a biography. i'm not sure how rich teenage "self help" publishing is with choices, but her being a Chistian virgin, someone who was insecure but worked on that, and in general a relatable nice girl can be a good platform for something that's not necessarily a straight up autobiography, just personal experience to help other girls. Think "Amazing Amy" from Gone Girl lol
  8. someone just won internet! lol they don't. well... i guess programmers don't. I have a friend who designed an app and last i heard there were talks to get it into BMW cars... i highly doubt he has a PR representative... or had at the beginning. now it's getting more serious, so he might... i kinda sorta maybe understand why Nyle didn't win... $2,500? really? Nyle can go to a bank with his idea and they will give him A LOT more than that on the spot. The app he has in mind has a market (although maybe redneck market is larger than deaf community and friends), it's useful, it's an actual idea that can change, if not a life, at least help to cross deaf and non-deaf cultures better. OK. it's too big for the prize (again TWENTY FIVE EFFING HUNDRED? ) but did they HAVE to kick him while he was down by giving him 3rd point total for the challenge? They put a freaking autobiography nobody cares about above this... And Lacey is my girl, but come on... And then, just for lulz they go ahead and take away Nyle's only means of communication with the world. I'm surprised they didn't put him in straitjacket... why not? you can't see, why would you need your hands too... work with that, pretty boy... as an experienced camper i was surprised at how they used their supplies. You have sleeping bags. you know, it's a sack that is designed to keep your body temperature, protect you from elements (on a certain level) and depending on a model, add few degrees too... why would you unzip it into a blanket in a cold cabin? If you wanna cuddle, which is both prudent and fun (I'm talking about Nyle lol), zip two bags together and have a double sleeping bag that will guard you from the cold and "bring people together" lol
  9. And in my will i will Will back to Will. Will Will want it? Will won't. i laughed at this so hard i had to rewind cause i missed the next scene

    Spectre (2015)

It was OK. Daniel Craig still got it though. It was funny, there were shots where I looked at him and thought to myself "He is getting old. That's sad" And then a moment later it was "cold shower for one, please" Also can't un-see Moriarti in Andrew Scott. Even if he were one of the good guys I wouldn't have believed it for one second This movie added "Day of the Dead in Mexico City" to my bucket list. PS. got a chuckle over "hey I kinda just killed your husband, let's have sex" scene. Cause that totally happens every day LOL
  11. to be fair sometimes Nyle has same effect, but for COMPLETELY different reasons LOL
  12. I enjoyed this episode much more than i can remember enjoying many previous ones. One particular thing, and idk if the writers have the level of knowledge and irony, or if it's just bad case of Google translate into Russian, that just happened to be kinda genius, but the Kazakh guards kept yelling "Poekahli" when running after the guys. Technically it does translate to "let's go, let's drive", but this word is never used in this circumstance. Unless it is someone jumping into a car right before the car chase, then it's appropriate. Not while trying to break into a "barricaded" room. BUT it was the word that Yuri Gagarin - first man in space - said when the rocket was lifting off. This word is forever engrained into a Russian speaking mind as a Gagarin word. And Soviet cosmodrome was in Baikonur, Kazakhstan.
  13. i think it was in Haassa's shoot, right after she rubbed whipped cream all over his torso. two questions: WHY in the house that has Nyle: a guy with perfect body and face, and, what seems like, great personality, are girls all over Mikey? I honestly wouldn't touch Mikey with a 10 foot pole, and i usually like that Northern European look that he seems to have, but not on him lol and second, most important question, how do you get Nyle eating sushi off your thigh?
  14. yes and no... he is one of those men who wears suit like he was born in it. He has that European sexy but classy charm for high end products like watches and suits that cost more than I will make in my whole life lol
  15. Overpopulation of vampires has lead to blood line war (or brink of war). Vampires decided that the easiest way about this war would be to kill one or two of the originals, thousands (I presume) birds with one "stone" Apparently there's some mysterious weapon that can kill an Original. Looks like Lucien is the head guy for Klaus line interests, Tristan - for Elijah. I doubt Aurora is Becks... Tristan seems to care about his sister. So unless he has something up his sleeve to spare a vampire from an extinct bloodline, or he is OK with two bloodlines remaining, I think Aurora is of Elijah's line too. Tristan has been trying to eliminate Lucien by creating a killing spree that has the same MO as Lucien's torture and death by Tristan.
  16. I agree about Eros. I can finally see the future Machiavelli (one we all know) in him. He even looks a bit like him, I mean, it's not a stretch to imagine that this young Nicco will grow into looking like what we know Machiavelli to have looked. Also... Clarice... sigh.. RIP badass mother of Florence But I saw what Leo was talking about. How gorgeous was the shot form above when they raised her from the water. Masterpiece! Lara Pulver looked magnificent. (is it wrong to admire that kind of art? lol)
  17. I'm half way through this one... I kinda thought it was Riario, cause when Leo described profile of the killer it was him to a t. Word "pious" brought back Zita :'( But I didn't think it was "split personality" angle, just thought Riario was back to his old ways with new found purpose... btw, Blake KILLED that switch from scared self despising broken man to a righteous demon killer. I jumped back a little. Damn I'm gonna miss those two. They need to get on some other show and play frenemies again. Chemistry is off the charts!
  18. yup, that's how I saw it too. Directions he got were probably "do shock/surprise, but exaggerate it because we are going to dissect it in slo-mo"
  19. well, death doesn't always stick in this show.... lol to quote Corey Mathews: "And when did he get over this... death?" lol
  20. wow, they are pulling out all the stops! Magnifico is captured, Leo has lost (going back to last season) a man he considered a father, a mother, and an actual father after beginning to reconnect with him in a matter of days? I wonder what will it do to his mind... Vanessa was pretty badass, Nico was proud Rigor mortis, huh? lol ouch!
  21. IKR! I loved Cho! And the moment Kang appeared I did a mini happy dance, and then they had to go and kill him. Screw Jo, bring back Cho!
  22. Funny moment. When Ivan Shishkin appears and starts talking my thoughts are "ohhh, good Russian accent! well done, movie!" and then the guys goes on and pronounces some English word in Russian and I realize that the accent is so good because it's real lol And then I recognize the actor from an old cop show I liked when I was a teenager. Nice little trip down the memory lane lol Also my dad doesn't really follow movie scene, and when I tell him that I saw a movie about a "spy for a pilot and student" exchange he goes "Oh, Abel for Powers, I remember that" He was 8 or 9 at that time. I read up on Willie Fischer (real name of the spy) and he strikes me like a very interesting character. I felt like the first half of the movie was too long, I'd rather see stuff Able did and more about him. Now I'm curious about the other side of the story. Its interesting how they made Abel likeable. (as I was surprised how the characters of Spassky vs Fischer were done in Pawn Sacrifice, where Soviet guy was more likeable and honorable, than American) And idk I find it hard to believe that the attitude and treatment of this guy here in the jail was that nice. I'm also sure that Soviets did more than just deprive Powers of sleep. But in the movie it's a bit too "fluffy and contrived" that American's were nice to Abel and didn't torture him, just tried to buy him, while Russians were trying to pry information with physical and mental exhaustion. I'm sure both sides tried "harder". Also "stojkij muzhik" is not exactly standing man... It's more enduring, persistent, steadfast... I guess it's "close enough" but not really lol

    The Walk (2015)

"Forever" got to me too. I know few of my friends were getting misty eyed while looking a the towers. I was fighting to put anger in the back of my mind, cause every shot of the side of the building brought that awful photo of a man falling head first to my mind. F#CK YOU, bastards who decided that flying a plane into a building is a good idea.
  24. I say go for ! It's not a horror ghost story, although del Toro makes his ghost scary (not Tom though, I noticed his ghost was very human-like for del Toro). It's more like Victorian gothic romance with ghosts. It does have a level of violence to it, not coming from ghosts, though, people. It's kinda cool how this story has a supernatural feel to it, but the only supernatural thing in it is ghosts that only one person can see, and they are not there to harm or scare her, just to warn, in their ghost scary creepy way lol
