  1. It just had SO MUCH. I really had a hard time picking one thing to write about. Right from the waxing cold open, it was a delight.
  2. asha got it. People whose mental illness keeps them from throwing things out star in a long-running sketch show. Eric: I would love to guess yours but nooooooo idea.
  3. Denay and Eric are both right about my latest. Adam, the old one: A feckless loon moves in with his sister, who's already living with another divorced mom and all their kids.
  4. Margaret Lyons (of Vulture) tweeted on Tuesday that she didn't buy that a marriage like Kathryn and John's would blow up over a kiss -- which it hasn't, irretrievably, but even that she'd kick him out seems like kind of an overreaction. To me, they are both equally justified in being furious at the other; her going ahead with this book without talking to him is pretty bad.
  5. A strangely intelligent collie helps treat patients who walk into a Cook County hospital.
  6. No one's gotten mine so screw everyone! Eric:
  7. I never would have thought so, but I agree! Rose does stupid shit, but at least she's having some fun.
  8. There will be much to discuss in this one.
  9. I watched all of Buffy. Should I give Angel a shot? Tell me why!
  10. A feckless loon moves in with his sister, who's already living with another divorced mom and all their kids.
  11. Mr. Mason is very sweet, but I'm not really sure how Daisy turned into a character we're supposed to root for. Obviously you can't root for Ivy over her, but Daisy's been a sour jerk most of the time we've known her.
  12. The doings at an elegant British country house are complicated by the arrival of an African-American news anchor with a messy personal life.
  13. Esteemed directors make documentary films about the athletic head writer of a sketch comedy show.
  14. MMCS is correct! Also, . Critic Jerry Saltz serves as mentor on a reality competition about a cocky spy and his barely competent colleagues.
  15. Teams of female impersonators compete in a globe-trotting travel competition.
  16. In the book, the impression I got was that Spademan was in his mid- to late thirties. I think I was picturing someone like Paul Bettany, probably partly because of movies like Priest, and partly because he kind of looks like Adam.
  17. Now that Carol's back, I might start actually paying attention when it's on. I hear good things.
