  1. But wh-- why? Just to be extra-hardcore? I hope this idiot gets bounced first.
  2. Cliff Robinson. His pet peeve is people who chew with their mouths open AND he's already survived living in Buffalo.
  3. The true heroes of this horrible franchise are the FEW who dare to shine a spotlight on what bullshit it all is.
  4. She's always a delight when she plays games (extremely competitively) on Ellen.
  5. The whining! They were terrible. Like Dave, I hadn't watched in years, and had forgotten how exhausting the early episodes can be, with so many teams to service.
  6. Yvette Nicole Brown was one of my favourites. Extremely focused and clearly took the responsibility of helping the civilian win the money with the appropriate degree of seriousness. Martin Short is the undisputed worst, but Rosie O'Donnell and Mel B. were pretty terrible too -- the former wouldn't stop shrieking AND got shit wrong, and the latter knew nothing AND dressed like a goddamn moron in a strapless bustier jumpsuit and spike heels.
  7. I'm very mad about it, btw.
  8. It is VERY strange that they're announcing it so early. This isn't the kind of thing that's going to benefit from having a lot of scrutiny on it.
  9. Discuss Dallas Old & New, Here!
  10. This Particle is the longest thing that's ever happened! (Also it takes place in 1923.)
  11. I hope the identity of the powder sender comes up in a future episode. It feels like something that could pay off in a cool way. As I said on the podcast, I wondered if Claire had sent it to make sure she'd get a solo interview -- not just because Frank might have stopped her (I agree with Sarah that he wouldn't), but because it gave her revelation much more heft for her to have given it sitting there alone.
  12. I have had multiple dreams in which I meet people involved in the movie and complain to them about everything I didn't like about it.
  13. Would it make sense to jump in later, once it gets past its procedural-y phase? Also, I used to edit the Angel recaps on TWoP, so I already know about most of the plot stuff.
  14. A curmudgeonly talk show host uses his ability to shapeshift into animal form to solve crimes.
  15. I think Dave already did that one on Twitter! hee.
  16. Eric is right enough (it's ). Beleaguered, exhausted new parents offer analysis on the news of the day alongside a veteran anchor.
  17. Lisin got mine/Dave's (which we both did back to back independently of one another like a couple of idiots who've been married for the better part of two decades). At a famed New York acting school, a pompous host interviews performers about their dramedic exploits backstage at a long-running L.A.-based sketch show.
